Bunyong Homestay is an Unique, Traditional Khmer and French colonial style house just only 15 minutes from Siem Reap downtown and Airport. It's located in a very tranquill natural environment with mango trees, …Moreorganic fruit and vegetable garden and lotus fields. Visitors are welcome to explore the open landscape, walking to a lake full of fish where the local children play, swim and fishing. The Homestay has attractive and clean private bedrooms , bathrooms and balcanies where you can watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Each bed is fitted with mosquito net and fan and AC. The experience of staying with an authentic Khmer family should not be missed. We are able to share our daily activities, humble, quiet lives and also enjoy our delicious freshly prepared Khmer food and for the more adventurous we offer our home made beverages such as a special spider and herbal wines. It's our intention, passion, and pleasure to provide a perfect experience of a genuine Khmer life style. We offer more than just accommodation for a visitor to the city of Angkor but provide a unique lifetime experience. An orientation walk is available, with an English Speaking Guide, to show you the local village life and temples. Bun and his Khmer family are unique , inspirational people always happy and smiley. They know this area so well and can provide an unique, unforgettable experience of life, past and present, in Cambodia. With their guidance you can step off the beaten tourist track and travel like a local, getting the best route through the complex city of Angkor and its many Wats. You will be guided through history, walked through the jungle to enjoy the ruins in splendor and relative peace. This is the best way to see the ancient site and ensure that the local communities benefit directly from your visit. Please find us on Facebook at Bunyong Home OR Travel to C. Less

Hello Keiprat. Bun and family offer a unique opportunity to stay "a la local" in their home on the fringe of the countryside. Guest rooms are all on the 1st floor and have excellent aircon, and mosquito nets. The rooms are very simply furnished as should be expected. They are for sleeping in. The shower/bathroom is perfunctory. The view from the communal balcony where you enjoy breakfast each morning is better than the city views, but don't expect to see wilder-beast on the Serengeti. Family meals might include local caught freshwater fish (expect sardine size, heads n all), morning glory (pond grown greens from the garden), snails, frogs if requested, snakes even, and boiled rice, and no nuts to be seen.... its more real than Siem Reap, which is ugly in my view, but worth a visit. Take a look at my other reviews for an overview. Enjoy the trip! I did.
This home stay is maybe 15 minutes from the airport. We had arranged for a guide with Mr. Bun and the guide and our driver picked us up from the airport and took care of us from there for the duration of our stay.

Hi there! Yes breakfast and dinner was provided for us. Bun was the best host. He woke up extra early to get us a fresh breakfast, and at night we would all eat together outside for dinner. Most of the dishes were vegetarian, but I would make sure to message him after you book to let him know. But that shouldn't be a problem.
I also suggest doing the tour with him. He is an expert! He knew the ins and outs of the complex, and took us on a route that was much less crowded. He was also very reasonably priced. I don't think you'll find anything cheaper.
