This hotel doesn't exist anymore. We've booked this hotel in Agoda, but in this place is different hotel Somiania D'Angkor. They are on Fb and airbnb. We've met there six more people with the same situation. Be careful.

Service is great. Room large. Breakfast mainly asian but plentiful. They have a bar but no drinks??? Evening meal fair and cheap. Great meals just down the road. Pool is good. Clean rooms. Looks like this was a great old lady once upon a time.

This hotel is not horrible but nor is it particularly impressive. Pros: It's a great location within walking distance of laundromats, eateries, a lovely gym and touristy cafes. The staff are friendly. The beds are comfortable and the linen clean. The daily complimentary water bottles (x2) were much appreciated. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety but to be honest I opted only for the small bananas due to a bout of gastro. Cons: As it is on the river front, which happened to be quite stagnant when we were there, there are a lot of insects. If you have a phobia of crickets, mosquitoes or lizards this is probably not the ideal venue for you in December as these creatures will likely be in you room if you're near the stairwell. The internet is highly unreliable and unfortunately did not support Skype or WhatsApp conversations. The toilets did not flush well. Hot water was highly inconsistent. I managed to have one hot shower in the week I stayed there, however, my colleagues had a little more luck. To the hotels credit I didn't bring any of these issues to their attention as I was travelling with a group of students and wanted to model positive behaviour.

We stayed for two nights. First the good things: the staff was friendly and the WiFi worked very well. Unfortunately the hotel was very dirty. Carpets which were unchanged for ages. One morning there were dogs excrements on the 3rd floor in front of the rooms. We have informed the reception about it. After nearly 2 hours, it was still not cleaned. Breakfast was ok, but would have been better if staff had cleaned the used tables. To make it short, it was our first and last stay in this hotel.

This hotel would have to be one of the friendliest hotels I have ever visited, rooms very spacious, extra comfortable, beds superb & so comfortable with full amenities, wonderful helpful & caring staff & great breakfasts. Lift is available instead of having to use stairs, very good swimming pool. So spotlessly clean & well maintained. Approx.7 klms from airport, tuk tuks available in front to take one on tours or into town, all so obliging & helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel & for sure will be returning.

This is my third trip to Siem Reap and I previously stayed at the Prum Bayon Hotel and the Empress Angkor. Location: The hotel is indeed facing the river and the view is nothing to shout about. There are no good restaurants that I dared to eat around the hotel. The nearest restaurant was a buffet restaurant that served poor quality food. The building. Building is very gloomy and is a very narrow rectangular shaped building. The hotel has poor lighting and gloomy and I felt as if I was entering a motel initially. The lobby looked fine but the poor lighting spoilt the ambience. There is a narrow swimming pool at the side. There are pool chairs. Walking to my rooms felt scary especially at night. The rooms The rooms are fairly clean and the beds are comfortable. The TVs are outdated. There is just a shower head spruting water. There was no hot water in my room on the 4th floor. The air conditioner did not work well and the temperature was hovering around 27 degrees. I understand that the airconditioning is better on other floors. There is a safe and bath robes in the cupboard. The restaurant I tried ordering a meal. I was shown a menu with 8 items. When I tried ordering stuff, I was told that there was only 1 dish available. In all fairness, the rice dish with pork was quite tasty. But for US $6, I really expected better. The saving grace was the US $1 draught beer. Breakfast was a disaster. The food was messy. There were a few rice and noodle dishes and a try of triangle egg pieces and some pieces of sausage and ham. It made me really regret staying there. The service There are a few English speaking staff at the lobby. The staff try to help when asked but the instructions are not clear. The visitors Most of the people staying here are on tour groups. Lots of Russians. Overall, the rooms were ok but the hotel needs paint, nicer finishings. A disappointment but I paid Us $23 a night so for that price, I guess its ok.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night due to my booked hotel i.e. Cheathata Angkor Hotel was overbooked, therefore the hotel mgmt transferred me to this hotel. Price - Not sure about the price of this hotel. Basing on its locatiobn, 1.5km away from the famous Pub Street and nothing interesting at the surrounding area, the hotel price should not be more than USD25; somewhat could be lower. Friendliness of staff - Rating: 5/5. I would say the staff especially the front desk was very helpful. Cleanliness - Rating: 2/5. The hotel has swimming pool, however you barely can swim in the pool - dirty. The room is considered clean, however the bed is not comfortable to sleep. The water pressure is super slow. No amenities provided except shower foam and shampoo. Location - Rating: 2/5. 1.5km from Pub Street and roughly 3-5km from Angkor. There are many other hotels in Pub Street. Breakfast Service: Rating: 2/5. Poor quality of breakfast food served. Plus Points: 1. Nil Demerit: 1. Quite a distance from famous area 2. Dirty
