I love this place. It is perfect in every way. The staff was amazingly friendly and helped with all our requests. Every food was very delicious. The pool and surrounding gardens provided a quiet place to relax. Rooms were very comfortable.I would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend this hotel.
Thank you to all the friendly staff from the hotel who helped me have a great stay during the first 4 months of the covid in the world (but apparently not in Cambodia or so much less). Sarin the FO Supervisor was managing the crew with talent, kindness and efficiency and Ben the Belgian Manager was a very professional and smart man. The hotel was quite empty but the only 5 stars still open in Siem Reap and it was a marvelous and calm shelter. The swimming pool in the garden with exotic trees was a true paradise. The staff always behaving with kindness and dignity despite the stressful situation of tourists cancelling their journey. Love you and good luck to everybody. Xavier
We really appreciated, for an early June visit during the peak of COVID concerns, that the Victoria was among just a few hotels actually open and functioning in Siem Reap. The staff was super friendly and accommodating (one reason the hotel was open was to provide at least some employment for the otherwise large staff). The rooms were very clean and airy, and we had the beautiful pool to ourselves. The concierge very helpfully provided us with a list (which he updated during our stay) of the few open restaurants across the city. The breakfast was included, though somewhat unremarkable. The hotel is very conveniently located near the river and central parts of town.
We stayed at this hotel in March at the very start of our holiday. We could not have chosen a better hotel and could not fault it at all. It is in an ideal location for exploring, and only a short Tuk Tuk ride to Pub Street. Our room was kept very clean and had a view of the swimming pool. We loved the outside seating area on an evening, where we had a few drinks before going for a meal. The food at the hotel was very good, and there was plenty of choice for Breakfast. We booked a trip to Angkor Wat from the hotel reception. Our lovely driver was called Mum, he was friendly and polite, as were all the staff. We enjoyed relaxing around the swimming pool, after being out exploring in the heat. The lifts in the hotel are different, very Colonial. The staff were always cleaning all over the hotel, which I think says a lot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tranquil hotel.…
We stayed here last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole place is beautifully decorated and the staff is lovely, seeming to anticipate guests' every need. The location is perfect. Would happily stay here again--far better choice than the newer places more away from town.
