I had a great 2 nights stay at the hotel. Access road was a little rough (no fault of the hotel's as the government is revamping the roads in and around Siem Reap till 2021), yet comfortable enough for small to medium size cars. Location from hotel to city center was a little far but nothing too big to solve. Distance in exchange of peace and tranquility. Those without personal vehicles but wanting a comfy ride to town can spend a little more on Grab SUVs instead of tuk-tuks. Was warmly greeted at the reception and check-in was a breeze. The hotel exuded a warm and calming atmosphere and I immediately felt refreshed despite a 6 hour drive from Phnom Penh. I booked the Royal Suite on Agoda. The room was spacious, well-maintained and very pleasant. Bedding was good and comfortable, bed sheets and related linen were clean. Only 1 minor drawback is that the sound-proofing could have been a little better, as howling dogs nearby could be heard at night. Still had a very good rest during both nights of stay. The bathroom was spacious as well, accommodating bath tub and well-pressurized rain shower at 2 different areas inside the bathroom. Food wise, the complimentary breakfast was decent and portions were just right. However, the coffee served was excellent, could not get enough of it! Ordered room service and the response was prompt. Security was also good and the owner took the extra step of arranging to have my car parked inside a secure lot just opposite the hotel. Thumbs up! Overall, I have no complaints about the hotel and only praise and compliments for the owner and staff. I will definitely return if I have to make another trip to Siem Reap. Best wishes to David and the team.…
I stayed here in November 2017 and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and the staff and very accommodating including the owner David. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. It is a little off the beaten path on a dirt road but very quiet at night and the main city center is just a a short ride away by tuk tuk. Highly recommended!
Shintana Saya Residence it is by far one of the best hotels where I've stayed! David, the host, it is very very nice, great guy, who knows how to delight a customer! Everything was on point during our stay, the room was very cool, and had a lot of space, the cleaning was very good too. The thing that I liked the most was the food! The european food was terrific, but the typical food was beyond terrific, for real! I give David, all the staff and the hotel 5*, well deserved.
We had big team stayed in Shintana Shaya Residence The host very friendly and expert in hospitality field. Felt very comfort of staying and enjoy the parties here. We’ve been here two years ago until now the residence still looking nice and mew To us.
Beautiful charming hotel with a tropical garden for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The room was huge with beautiful tropical garden view and pool view and with a nice bathroom with bathtub. The staff is caring, friendly and professional and the owner is very helpful.
