In recent years we have made over thirty visits to Dubai and although we’ve been fortunate to have stayed at a number of the best hotels the city has to offer, the Grosvenor House and its sister hotel Le Royal Meridien have been firm favourites for repeated stays. We returned from our most recent stay at the Grosvenor House just over a week ago and cannot speak highly enough of the Grosvenor House and its Staff. This was our first visit since the hotel had become part of the Marriott Luxury Collection and we were unsure what to expect. However, any concerns that the previous high standards may have ‘slipped’ were quickly dispelled. The friendliness, professionalism and pride in the hotel of the people who work there was evident throughout our stay. Check in (and check out) was timely and efficient; Ali maintained a high level of cleanliness in our room (2452); the Leisure facilities and staff were excellent; and the managers and staff of all the hotel restaurants we visited were not only friendly and welcoming but went above and beyond (notably Sloane’s). Not to forget the quality and variety of the food which was top class. Above all, our experience of Level 5, with a degree of hospitality and attentiveness that we can only describe as exceptional, was memorable. Romel and the team made us feel so welcome and comfortable with nothing being too much trouble. Not least of which was the hard work Romel and the Level 5 team put in to ensuring our son and his partner, who joined us at the end of our stay, and were in Dubai for the first time, had an unforgettable experience. During our stay from 13/03/2023 to 18/03/2023 we experienced the very best of services and hospitality from everyone we came in contact with throughout the two towers as well as all the people helping us outside with transportation, etc. The hotel is phenomenal and the people working there are exceptional!! All the people we encountered at reception, the concierge desk, bellmen, restaurants, bars, spa, etc. were incredible. We visited the Grosvenor House for 4 nights for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, staff were super helpful with our bags and really welcoming after a long journey! We were given a complimentary room upgrade and I cannot tell you how amazing the room was! Views over JBR and the Dubai Eye were the icing on the cake. Our bed was so comfortable and the cleaning was impeccable, the room was always beautifully presented. Also, the attention to detail during turndown was great. We had a half board basis and chose to eat in the main buffet for breakfast and lunch. The variety of food on offer is incredible and caters for every taste/intolerance. The food is always fresh and the staff again are helpful and welcoming. There is a fresh pasta station at lunch and dinner along with a grill for fresh meat and/or seafood. The dessert selection is also great! The hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from the Marina and JBR, also the hotel provide a free shuttle every 15 minutes to the Grand Meridian (the other Marriott property which guests of GH can use). However its also close enough to walk if you wish. The service at Grand Meridian was also excellent, with plenty of bars and restaurants and also beach towels provided. We visited the pool at GH once in the afternoon and again spotlessly clean, towels provided and lovely pool area. Only downside is that the pool is shaded (to be expected in Dubai with all the high rise buildings!) Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. We spent 1 week at Grosvenor House and as always it was as special and amazing. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms / suites are well appointed. Fantastic welcome and check in by the team. The suite was spacious with a nice balcony, a large living room, kitchenette fully stocked mini bar, loads of wardrobe space and a wonderful bathroom with a great shower and bath. In the bathrooms you have Byredo toiletries which are now in sustainable containers which can also be purchased and it was nice that these weren’t bolted to the walls so it keeps the luxury feel while also being sustainable. Housekeeping is impeccable both for turndown and daily clean. Level 5 is run brilliantly by the same team that have been there for years and some new faces on the waiting staff. A special thank you to Romel, Cindy, Amit and Yassin for everything they did along with chef who made special sandwiches for my son for afternoon tea (a real wonderful touch) we had breakfast in the lounge most days and it’s delicious and freshly made and a calm oasis. We also had breakfast at Sloanes which was very busy but the team does a remarkable job of being super helpful and providing a wonderful start to the day. Rahul and Sohail in particular at sloanes during the dinner buffet were amazing and nothing was ever too much for them. The pool is lovely and great refreshments provided. The access to LRM is great as this give the opportunity to visit this wonderful beach resort with 3 fantastic pools and a private beach. The real heroes are the butlers / concierge / guest service / bellboys a special thank you to Umar, Imam, Ehtisham, Shoaib, Arnold and Ammad for all that you guys do and for making Grosvenor House feel like a home away from home. We visited the hotel in February for a week and experienced a wonderful time. We were welcomed on arrival then shown to our amazing room with balcony , enjoying great views. Our overall visit was spectacular enjoying both hotels . Staff were very friendly professional providing a 5 star service at all times . Special thanks to Joseph who helped us on several occasions ! We will return and also recommend This wonderful hotel !!!
Excellent staff and facilities. Very agile transport from the hotel. Outstanding bars and restaurants. The access option to the beach resort using the transfer is ideal for a stay in Dubai Marina. The hotel is "a must" experience when travelling to Dubai.
Another fabulous stay at the Grosvenor this hotel has everything with the best staff and facilities which is why we return. The level five lounge is brilliant where you can have a peaceful breakfast and afternoon tea if you wish. Even better the evening drinks from 6-8 pm where you will never have an empty glass due to the attentive service of all the lounge staff. The lounge is perfect for meeting and chatting to other guests something we enjoyed. The access to Lemeridien Beach Resort is a bonus and the resort is immaculate and here again the staff are top notch including poolside attendants especially Prashanth delivering us towels and setting up umbrellas at the children’s pool area daily. My daughter husband and grandson were staying at the beach resort but also were welcomed at the Grosvenor and loved the experience of the array of restaurants. All restaraunts are brilliant used Indego, Xengos and Toro Toro all of the highest quality. A blip on arrival room was not ready so we were given breakfast but when room was available it was not the room we booked which should have been the same as we had last September. This was a disappointment but after talking to reception it was resolved to our satisfaction and with the friendly help of Erbe who went to great lengths to ensure our move went smoothly. The room 7065 was immaculate and serviced to a high level by Krishna and topped us up daily with biscuits and chocolates. We will undoubtedly return again and most visitors are those that return. You will not get better at any price you could only equal.…
Great hotel, amazing facilities, and an ideal location. Good selection of restaurants in the hotel, and outside. Both towers are very good, and the gym facilities are worthwhile. Highly recommended hotel.
Fantastic hotel with premium service from hotel staff, high attention to details which make our stay brilliant, from the entrance you feel that you are on special place. Our suit 2755 was perfectly clean and super comfortable with amazing view over dubai marina. Special thanks to bell staff and restaurant sloane’s staff because they doing fantastic job to make our stay amazing at Grosvenor house. This hotel is not for every pocket, yes its expensive but when you stay here you will realize that this price is with the reason and worth it every dollar, becuse this is true 5 stars expirience.
Beautiful hotel, great breakfast spread. Was upgraded to a suite which was a bonus in this already luxurious property. Balmain toiletries and a very attentive butler. No faults with the hotel. However, during the time I visited finding a cab was a bit tough. It's a gorgeous place and a must stay
