All the people working in the Hotel were wonderful, always smiling and very kind. The only matter we can notice is the lack of towels and toilet paper. We had to ask one or two towels more because we were 3 and the number of bathrobes was insufficient. For the rest thisHotel is good, breakfast has a great variety of International food as well as lunch and dinner. Maybe Thai Restaurant is a bit too expensive considering the medium quality of the meals. Anyway, it is a perfect place for families and offers a lot of activities: i Went to theGymnasyum every morning and I loved that!

It was my daughter's wedding and we decided to arrange rooms in Roda Al Bustan for our overseas guests. We also hosted a few functions of the wedding within the hotel. We were in continuous contact with Ms.Eman Khamis, the Director of Events and Banquet Operation and Ms. Gouri Padam, the Events Manager. They helped us thoroughly throughout the three day course of the wedding with whatever we needed, From Room Allotment, Bookings, Venue Visits, Logistics to Food Menus, Functions Set Ups, Guest Service and Coordination. They took care of the minutest of details and made sure everything went perfect and the wedding turned out to be beyond our expectations. We met with them quite a few times for venue visits and function details, and they coordinated really well without any hesitation. The hotel staff in general was brilliant and the service was excellent as well. The Housekeeping, Room Service, and Reception were really co-operative and always had a smile on their face. Our guests were also really happy and more than satisfied with the service provided and no one had any negative reviews at all.
The hotel is a majestic masterpiece in the centre of Dubai, near airport with everything on point. Excellent in every way from the location to the courteous staff and cleanliness. Highly recommended!

We booked this hotel because it was the cheapest 5 star hotel near the airport as we were arriving late and just wanted a comfortable bed really for the night before we moved on to our beach hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised just how nice it was. The reception area has a beautiful elegant charm and all the public areas were cleaned and polished to within an inch of their life. The whole team were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was a little tired and getting ready for a refurb but still very acceptable, comfortable and clean, especially considering the price we paid.
The service at the buffet breakfast was excellent with the egg chef presenting my poached eggs directly to my table with a little garnish on top - they seem to go that extra mile.
We had intended to move to our palm hotel after breakfast but this hotel kindly gave us a late check out at 4.30pm so we stayed longed than we planned so we could enjoy the ambiance and pool facilities.
This hotel represents incredible value for money and after spending the next few days at a 5 star palm hotel we found ourselves wishing we were back at the Grand Al Bustan - says it all really!

We stayed at the Roda Al Bustan Hotel for 4 nights. After a bad experience at the Millennium airport hotel across the road where we were supposed to be staying for our trip (the pool was closed and was offered a small puddle on a rooftop apartment building with no bar facilities) we got a refund and walked across the road and booked instantly after seeing the facilities at the Roda. The rooms are huge! We had a connecting room which was great. Rooms very clean and have everything you need. Towels and water replenished daily. We spent most of our days at the pool where the staff there were outstanding. The lifeguards were so helpful and every morning would move sun loungers for us to the perfect location in the sun. All of the pool staff including Momin were great. The food at the pool was also good. The menu doesn’t have much to offer but the food we did order was good. Location was great, a 5 minute taxi ride from the airport and a short 10 minute walk to the Irish village where we had tickets to watch the Dubai open tennis Tournament. We never got a chance to check out the restaurants in the hotel but looks like there was loads of choice. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I went to the Lebanese restaurant one night, the entrance was dark as there was a belly dancer on stage. I tripped down one step because I couldn't see anything and managed to catch myself then tripped down a second step and just managed to grab the bar, scraping my arm in the process. The doorman then finally moved to catch me when I'm flat on my face on the bar with a bleeding arm. Any hotel or restaurant guides their customers when there are steps even when it isn't dark.
As usual when I arrived, there wasn't a porter in sight but a female security guard called Ugyen came out to get my luggage and later brought it to my room.
As a Platinum member of the Accor loyalty programme I got an upgrade but wasn't happy when I saw that the toilet hadn't been flushed so I went back downstairs and talked to the duty manager Mohamad who gave me a decent upgrade to a suite which I was much happier with. I often get double upgrades and hotels should treat their Platinum members as nicely as they can especially when the hotel occupancy rate is low. Thanks to Mohamad giving me this upgrade, I cancelled a reservation elsewhere and extended my stay and ended up spending 4 nights there instead of just 1 night. If i hadn't got that upgrade I wouldn't have stayed longer.
I have to give 5 stars to the housekeeping staff who were fantastic - executive housekeeper Corazon who came up to meet me, supervisor Sandy who made sure everything was to my liking in the suite and got me extra footstools and housekeeper Mahadev who did a wonderful job cleaning my room every day. It was a real pleasure to arrive in the evening and see what a great job he had done.
I had to call engineering for a few issues, the curtain in the bedroom was hanging down and needed to be reattached, the minibar was broken and needed to be replaced and there were many light bulbs missing. The lighting system is a nightmare, either all the lights are on or they're all off so you can't read at night and if you want a more intimate atmosphere in the living room you can't switch the bright hall light off. There were no sockets by the bed so luckily I had brought an extension cable with me which is a must when you travel here as many hotels don't have sockets in the right places.
The gym is probably the best one in the airport area, it's nothing fancy but has all the equipment you need for a decent workout. The pool is not so good, hexagon shape not suitable for swimming lengths and children everywhere.

A place that can make you feel like home! Pure comfort! The first time I felt that I would definitely miss a hotel after I’ve left, everyone has been super friendly to me! Especially the catering staff at the breakfast buffet, big shout-out to Aliki, Andrea and Surfiel (My apology if I got the spelling wrong🙏) who have made sure that my dining experience is nothing short of a perfection!
And also because of the amazing the cleaning team so that everyday I could have a room that’s impeccably tidy waiting for me to get back.
Its great location that has made getting to places so easy and the quite neighborhood it’s located in allows you to have a perfect sleep every single night. The highlights of my stay here can go on and on!
I will for sure come back and share this great experience with more family friends!

This Hotel is close to Dubai Airport. it is also conveniently located by the major highways that will very much take you to almost all sites and attraction. this hotel is a true 5 star hotel all around. the rooms were absolutely clean and the service was super fantastic. we enjoyed the Buffets they have. the Friday brunch was lots of fun and tasty food for the whole family. the Wednesday night dinner buffet Also known as "Sea Food buffet" was very delicious. the french Chef and his awesome crew made sure all flavors and tastes were satisfied. Also, the restaurant manager, Ayman, has a smile and great customer service skills that i have not seen in quiet a while. he has greeted us every single morning with a great smile and very positive attitude, and took care of my family as if it was his own. the whole team there is fantastic and provide a high level customer service that will set the par high for other competitiveness. I want to Thank Glenn, April, Ayman, Nadia, Wasim, Meelad the singer and everyone else for making our stay so special. and guess what .. we will be back .. i promise

Borderline 5 star transient airport hotel we got for a good price.
All nice and shiny upon arrival.
£73 a night B&B from Travel Republic, not bad for this town.
Tried to get a poolside room ground floor (recommended) but Ali on the front desk was having none of it, ended up in 259 overlooking the Meriden village at the side, no balcony.
Bit noisy this hotel, with guests crashing round at all hours and sound coming through the adjoining door to next doors room.
Plenty of free water supplied in the room daily, air con usual fixed temp rubbish, TV signal pants, fridge and safe etc.
Back to the '70's bathroom decor chic.
Breakfast really good, great selection of items, especially spices, pickles etc., but the omelette chef is rubbish - doesn't like being told his attempts resemble dog food, either. Gangs in the restaurant good customer service skills but wants to splash out on a new shirt, collar on old one worn completely through.
Pool is smaller than in pictures, never got really busy, sun all day and nice breeze - loungers good.
Pool guy Amin runs a tight ship there, credit to him - he could give lessons in pool management to some of the bigger, more expensive places in this town.
Never bothered with the bar or the restaurant, just went to the Dubliners pub, side entrance just round the corner, great atmosphere, food and drink at rather more reasonable prices.
All in a, for the price point and a quick stay, this hotel ticks the box.

Usually I prefer to conduct my business meetings inside Movenpick Hotel, everything inside meeting rooms is well organized & ready to work. All are working to support you before, during & when meeting finish. It’s amazing to see hotel restaurant serving highly delicious Arabic & Oriental dishes. I had another couple of great stays at the Al Bustan, and noted that housekeeping had been further enhanced, addressing a couple of minor issues previously.
An older 5 star property, it has a great location near Dubai airport and convenient for Deira, Mirdif, Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai. The rooms though are quiet, well maintained and very clean.
The grand lobby is beautiful and a nice place to take a coffee. Breakfast buffet was quite good, although I would have liked a wider choice of fresh fruits. Breakfast wait staff were friendly and hard-working.
Front desk staff were efficient and helpful, well led by Mohamed Hendawey and his team. Housekeeping staff were also responsive, and additional amenities were quickly delivered upon request.
The pool area is spacious and catches plenty of sunshine. Although the hotel was quite full it never got too busy.
I would strongly recommend anyone liking Asian food to take dinner at the in-house restaurant Bambooda. The setting is lovely and the Thai cuisine outstanding.
The only area for improvement would be the bathrooms, which do need renovating. I also found the hot water very hot and it was a little tricky to regulate the shower temperature.
Overall, the Movenpick Grand Al Bustan is a great choice, if you want outstanding value and a comfortable base for exploring Dubai.
