While the spacious and well-kept rooms are a highlight for many, some guests suggest they could benefit from modernization and note disturbances from noise. If you ask the best hotel in Dubai, I'll tell The Ritz Carlton Dubai. If you ask why, I'll tell you people and service.
This hotel has become synonymous with service and gloss.

What do you expect from this hotel?

Delicious meals, a prepared bed for bed and, of course, attention to the little things.

But let's get this straight.

I was vacationing in this hotel with a friend, he was celebrating his anniversary.

Summer in Dubai is quite an adventure, but when the car doors opened, I knew we were welcome here.

The porters reacted instantly to the suitcases, without me even being able to reach for them, and we were escorted to the pit.

Our room wasn't ready, but we didn't want to wait, so we upgraded the room category, the boon was available, we got "a room with two queen beds and ocean views"

It was on the third floor, with a stunning view of the pool and the sea from the balcony.

The room is large 50 sqm.

Bath and shower, separate bathroom, sink for each, care from Diptyque, with Philosykos fragrance, gentle.

Convenience. The bed is like the Sistine Chapel, you won't forget it, very comfortable, sleeping like a baby. Every night, specially trained people would come in, spread out the bed, put the remote control on the bedside table next to the TV, put a little towel on the floor so you could stand on it before you put on your slippers, which is a little thing, but spoiling is incredible.

The hotel location is IDEAL. Any transport nearby, don't you want to take public transport? The porters will call you a cab while you stand and enjoy the shade. Nearby there are everything, alley restaurants (poppy duck across the street), cinemas, a shopping mall and of course the famous Dubai Marina area where you can stroll along the beautiful promenade submerged in skyscrapers.

But back to the hotel...

About the food. It's above all praise - tomorrow there are any fruits, vegetables, berries. Cook eggs in any variation to order, bring coffee. Meat, fish, cheeses, sweets, eat whatever you want.

For dinner, there are even more choices, there are several restaurants Italian, European, Asian cuisine - choose what you want. We used to have dinner at La Baie Lounge and watch tennis broadcasts there. European food, burgers, steaks, tuna. Really enjoyed the service especially the girl from Italy, alas, forgot her name.

It's hot during the day, but the pools cool down and you can hide under an umbrella. By the way, by the pools you can enjoy trills of birds, which is the only place in Dubai I've heard birds, it's just paradise.

In the evening, a piano plays in the lobby area, grabs coffee and dissolves into a stream of sound. The only downside is that they promised to award points in the program, but they never did.

So if you're in Dubai, stay at The Ritz Carlton Dubai

P.S. A special thank you goes to Olga, the guest manager. Resolved an issue that the rank and file couldn't resolve. With her help, the birthday boy received an unforgettable greeting and was very happy.

We (3 adults and a 13 month old) have just returned from 8 nights at The Ritz Carlton, Dubai.

This is probably something like our 15th stay at the resort. If you would like to read a comprehensive review you can find one in my profile.

As regards this stay, it was excellent in every respect.

The room was very comfortable (Club Level) and housekeeping did an outstanding job of making sure everything was perfect without being intrusive.

Unfortunately, we didn't see Club Leader Albert as he departed for well earned leave the day before we arrived. However, Jasmine, Indra, Silvester and the whole team looked after us very well.

The daily food offering was pretty good - perhaps a little better than usual this time around, with something for most tastes and dietary preferences at each serving. The Chefs took pre- orders for the baby to make sure she had fresh, quality food without seasoning etc. at breakfast, lunch and in the evening.

The house wines are also quite drinkable with Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvigon Blanc, Chardonnay, rosé and sparkling to choose from. So much so, I'll have to give my system a break until Christmas.

I was tired upon arrival after working several months without a break and had forgotten some of the small details I had enjoyed on previous stays - the staff reminded me that I usually had a side of Ful Medames at breakfast and that I preferred sparkling wine in a large glass instead of a flute - relatively unimportant in the greater scheme of things but an impressive level of attention to detail by the team.

The beach is one of the best natural stretches in all of Dubai and perfect for bathing or walking along the shoreline at Golden Hour.

The pools are relaxing and well maintained. The decking around the main pool is receiving an upgrade in phases and will have new premium loungers by Spring.

The outlets on the beach at Tamoka and Cana are great with atmosphere and delicious drinks.

Thank you to Mariam, Grainne, Saurav and Jeroen for your hospitality and to the whole team for everything.

Hopefully see you soon!

We chose the RC for three reasons:
1) location to The Palm, the marina and downtown 2)he kids club
3) the restaurants in-house
We were not disappointed in any way with the hotel and location. The rooms are a perfect blend of comfort and practicality with high quality furnishings. The hotel is well laid out and feels private in spite of being surrounded by tall buildings. Taxis are available at all times of the day and a trip downtown cost about £30 return which is worth it so see what Dubai has to offer beyond this area.
The kids club proved a hit with our son who dropped in and out as he liked and always felt welcome.
The Blue Jade and Tamoka restaurants were fantastic - both food and service were impeccable. Tamoka in particular will be huge fun in cooler weather as its by the beach and gives off a very cool, latin american vibe. Cocktails are a must there!
But what stands out about the Ritz is the service - everyone was kind, friendly and doing their absolute best each and every day. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Stand out people were Noki, Sharu and Daniel in the Club Lounge who made us feel so welcome and looked after every day. And the housekeeping staff - Hom, Keshav and Krisma - who made our room sparkle and created such wonderful bed art that we rushed to see what delight they had made each day. Thank you RC - we'll be back x

The hotel is about 25 mins from the airport. Taxi charged 100 dirhams one way as opposed to the hotel offer of 547 dirhams one way. Service attendants are at the door to greet you on arrival to retrieve your bags. We did club lounge. Check in is a separate area, quickly done. The rooms are average, glass shower, soaker tub, separate toilet and bidet room with door, small closet with comfortable robes, carpet that does not look like it was shampooed in months, beds are soft. Club lounge included breakfast 0730-1100 hrs, light afternoon snack noon-1400 hrs, afternoon tea and light dinner 1730-1930 hrs. Light meaning exactly that. A small buffet set up with about 4 warm options, fruits, cheeses and breads. If you take any advice, take this, DO NOT PAY FOR CLUB LOUNGE!. It was a waste of money in my opinion at almost 700 dirhams per day for a meal that you can spend less on just steps outside of the hotel. My kids and I were completely over the same waffles, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon after day 3 of our stay. You can find delicious and affordable options along the JBR walk instead.
For excursions, please please download the GetYourGuide app. You will save so much money. I was charged $850 Canadian for an excursion I could have purchased on the app at half that.
Overall for our family I felt that this hotel was good in terms of proximity from the airport and cleanliness. Otherwise just an average experience at an expensive price.

Holidaying with two young children on fall break. Dubai's peak season.

The hotel is one of the old-timers in Dubai, it's immediately striking. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom from the sewers, there's nothing you can do about it, I think, just the hotel renovation.

I'll note good breakfasts, kids can always be fed, a very cool selection of fruits and fresh berries, delicious yogurt and pastries.
BUT when the hotel is full, you always have to wait in line for 10-15 minutes until the table is free... and what was also an unpleasant surprise - the hotel does not have an open terrace for breakfast: there is a veranda, in fact also closed and the buffet room itself, it is also difficult to be there, because the smells from cooking do not go away, then you leave the restaurant completely smelling of food.

It is a pity that the hotel does not have a full buffet for dinner, like Jumeirah Al Nassem, you have to wait a long time for the meal after ordering, the children will not sit so much. Oriental restaurant AMASEENA with a small buffet was not suited to us, rather an option for adult company, because for a couple of grilled shrimp that a child eats you have to pay the whole price of the buffet, although there is no baby food there.

And the biggest disappointment is the sea. We have not seen such a dirty sea anywhere: bags, hair, bottles, rags, probably all this also comes from the yachts that dock near the hotel. The hotel absolutely needs a separate worker on the beach who constantly fishes for garbage from the sea that washed up on the beach. Many holidaymakers in principle did not go into the sea, rested by the pools, the good of them here is many and for any choice.
And you have to make sure to put garbage on the beach, as the butts, all the water lids and ice cream wrappers that are handed out on the beach are lying in the sand.

I would also like to note that there is a skydiving airstrip very close to the hotel, so the hum of turbines from 7 a.m. is provided.

All of the above cannot be replaced if you stay in FSJB or Mandarin Dubai before then. But if the level of demand for a 5* hotel is not so high, the Ritz Carlton is generally a good hotel with a fine and responsive staff, which the hotel itself certainly falls short of.

It is a wonderful hotel, the housekeeping staff looked after us very well with water, fruit and chocolate and surprised us artistically. Sumantra, Mahesh and Sakthi are representative of everyone. We were looked after very well at the pool - there is even free chilled water and sun cream. A food service directly to the sun lounger is possible.
Parts of the spa are accessible to hotel guests. A massage can be booked there and is highly recommended for complete relaxation.
The breakfast in the caravan leaves nothing to be desired and we were sent off with rose petals on the table.
The Tamoka restaurant is the ultimate experience with a view of the beach but the Splendido also has a first-class ambience and food to offer.
We have been enjoying the very British high tea in the lounge for several years, but business meetings have also taken place there, so it can sometimes be very full. A reservation in the restaurants or lounge is recommended.

This hotel is great, it has most of the things you expect from a Ritz Carlton property, the rooms are amazing and our Bonvoy upgrade was amazing with a fantastic suite room where we could see the Dubai sunset in the evenings and over looking the pool area.

Most of the service is great as well such as the front desk, the travel desk, concierge and the house keeping / room service are all top of the line.

What really stand out is the house keeping service and the service by the pool which both are fantastic and makes you feel really appreciated as a guest.

The things that makes this is a 4 instead of a 5 rating is the following

1. When asking for a late checkout it cannot be confirmed until the same morning of the departure and once approved you get no notification so it’s hard to plan your departure

2. The waitresses at the breakfast really make you feel like a second class person looking down at you making for a really uncomfortable feeling so we only had breakfast twice there and then avoided the place

so i stayed at the ritz carton hotel for about 2 weeks with my partner.we had the club lounge access aswell. Which i highly recommend !
The whole time it was amazing and we enjoyed ourselves so much. The staff go above and beyond for you. When walking towards a sun-bed they are already on it with getting towels and water bucket for you.
Every time you walk past a member of staff no matter if they are in the restaurant, around the pool,in the hallways they will always say hello and ask how we are doing.
The location is great very easy to grab taxis which may i say are very cheap. There’s a mcdonald’s right opposite it so even easy to grab food from there if need to be.
The malls are only like 20 mins away from the hotel which is very nice.
The staff around the pool are incredible bringing lollipops around and little watermelon juice shots around (non alcoholic) which they do this everyday.
The food in the club lounge is very good, the chefs are amazing and come out and will speak with you aswell! Also the food in the restaurant changed everyday which is nice!
The waiters around the restaurant always lovely always remembered what drinks we get and get it ready straight away and they are also very polite.
The rooms are amazing the lady cleaner goes above and beyond aswell, with putting designs on the bed which we loved when walking into the room. They clean the rooms in the morning and night and someone will come late in the night checking if we needed anything like extra towels etc.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone it was an amazing time! right by the main pool if you walk straight down there’s a private beach which is quite and peaceful.
The toilets outside by the pool are always clean you can tell they are checked constantly!
The views from the bedroom is amazing aswell.
Recommendations on what to do when in dubai- Is the Atlantis waterpark and joes cafe which is in dubai mall and you see all the fountains !
Wanted to say a thank you to every single one of the staff around the hotel and couldn’t say one bad word!
An extra thank you to Daniel, Julian, Chandera and Hairah in the club lounge restaurant and Lekh the chef.
Albert the receptionist in the restaurant is so welcoming.
Big thank you Ali the doorman for being so polite and so welcoming when we arrived !

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai for twelve nights. The hotel is rightly highly reviewed as they really do provide excellent customer care. There are not many places you can go where the staff addresses you by your name when you haven’t even met them.

The resort has excellent facilities and a exclusive part of beach for hotel guests alone. The security team is very good and knows who is coming and going so it is very safe for families with young kids. Breakfast is served in the Caravan Restaurant where there is a great selection of fresh food and drinks. The room service team would attend three times a day and ensure everything was left spotless. Overall, We would highly recommend the resort to anyone considering a stay in Dubai!

In particular, we also wanted to say a special thank you to just a few of those that took care of us during our stay:

The valet parking team (Khurram, Waseem, Aleem, Fawad, Faisal, Nasir, Mohan) who provided a great service and took care of our car.

Caravan Restaurant – Javeed, Lisa and Yaninda who paid a lot of attention and care to us throughout our stay, as well Hnin, Syam and Monalisha who welcomed us every morning on our way in.

The chefs who prepared our excellent breakfasts - Dinesh, Prabhu, Sanjay, Neeraj, Kavindpa and Prajwal.

Edwin from security who always greeted us warmly on our way to the beach.

Tirtha, Binod, Nirosh, Rajeshwar who serviced our room.

The ritz isn’t a cheap hotel, the brand is known for its luxury and this hotel in Dubai lives up to its name. A few days before I arrived I received a call from the hotel asking for flight details to ensure room would be ready, confirming the room set-up and so on. From the moment I arrived until I left the service was amazing, attention to detail, friendly, I could go on. What the staff are very good at is remembering the guests, from my 2nd day at breakfast the staff knew I liked to sit outside, that I always got a black coffee & sparkling water. Down at the beach they remembered I always wanted the sun bed in the shade. These things might seem small but that level of attention is also why you pay these prices. I also saw how they dealt with other guests and their requests, again nothing was too much. For example I saw 1 guest say his kids loved avocado toast so wanted some avocado he could mash for the kids and put on their toast. Within a couple of mins out came plates of fresh avocado toast from one of the chefs that had been prepared.

I came for a couple of days of relaxation after a busy work period & I got that. The rooms are large and spacious, extremely quiet, sun beds were always available. I never used the pool as they are designed more for families but the kids looked like they were having a great time. I liked that bottles of water in a cooler were provided when you used a sun bed and they never skimped on towels. If you don’t fancy eating at the hotel it’s on the walk so there are plenty of places to eat but I mainly stuck to the hotel and wasn’t disappointed.

Dear guest, thank you for your question. The food and beverages are to be consumed in the club lounge only. Restaurants will be charging for the same. Kind regards, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai

They did offer an upgrade to us - so they likely would do if they have availability I guess.
