This hotel makes me feel on holiday with the luxury it offers and at the same time makes me feel at home with the kindness and efficiency of all the staff especially a lady called Loes at the front desk. She is so quick in making things happen that I almost felt she is my personal secretary. Best service in this hotel.
If you and your friends are looking for a place to stay in JBR, Hilton Dubai can offer a two-bedroom apartment. The bedrooms and living rooms were very spacious and clean. It has its own kitchen and laundry as well. Though the building has its own pool, you will have an access to the beach and pool from Hilton Dubai Jumeirah. It’s just a few steps away. I could tell that they are very strict in implementing health and hygiene esp pandemic times. Well done! Thanks to Caroline and Roxanne for the warm welcome and accommodating us nicely.
Best views and location in JBR!! Having stayed at some of the best hotels in the world I can say it’s the people and the location of the hotel thats key in making it the best holiday experience or not and I can say that is exactly the case at Hilton Walk in Dubai. My family and I stayed at the Hilton Walk for past 8 weeks We extended our stay due to the Covid situation in U.K. and couldn’t have asked for more comfortable and well located apartment hotel! We were spoilt with the best seaview, watching the sun set every evening right from the comfort of our balcony. Frequently having our dinner as we watched the Sunset, or ate breakfast on the balcony in the morning as we watched the hussle bussle of the jbr community coming to life. The hotel has direct access to the beach with a private beach via the foot bridge. We spent many nights watching films at the Roxy cinemas directly opposite Hilton Walk. We were spoilt for choices when it came to restaurants and cafes on our strip inside the hotelas well as on along the boardwalk. Even though we stayed 2 months we still didn’t hear to try them all!! I’ve been the dubai atleast 22 timed and stayed at most of the 5 * hotels and I would say that this may not have the same star rating but the quality and care the staff gave to us during our 8 weeks at the hotel was very personal and efficient. A special thanks to Karen and Cheryln at front desk, christina at pure lounge, and Rahim in room service. The hotel is managed by top staff! The general manager Giselle Clarke is the formal GM for one Jumeirah hotels Mina Salam. She has brought over with her the class and elegance in managing Hilton in a way which gives her guests the best holiday experience, paying attention to detail. Karim and Loes also assistant managers have a very personable approach and went above and beyond to ensure our 8 weeks at Hilton Walk was a memorable one at rates were fair. The hotel has everything one needs, kitchenette, washer, gym, pool, beauty salon concierge etc. Taxi is readily available anytime of the day. Rates are fair and affordable compared to most of the hotels in the area. Infact would be comparable to air b n b prices (which wouldn’t have the 24 hrs services and daily cleaning services as the Hilton does which is why we spent 8 weeks at the Hilton apartment and rather than air b n b, it made economical sense!). Hilton walk as options for studio, 1, 2 , Or 3 bed apartments with our without kitchens. It’s one of the few hotels in the area with a clear unobstructed view of the sea. The pure lounge on the 35th floor has some of the most breathtaking views you could imagine!! People from all of dubai come for their best cocktails, light foods and sunset views. But do book a table in advance to avoid disappointment it can get very busy. Hilton is only 10’minutes walk from re marina mall and 7 km strip of marina shops and restaurants. It was a walkers dream! I walked atleast 12 km a day along the marina, the board walk as well as the blue water island which is also about 10 minutes walk from Hilton walk. To be honest during the 8 weeks we were there, we had no need to leave the jbr community as we had everything we needed nearby. We opted not to rent a car as it didn’t deem necessary to do so. If you ask me where I will be going as soon as travel ban lifted and we can travel again- I can say without hesitation my bags will be packed to another long stay at Hilton Walk!!…
Best location on JBR. Sanitized everywhere and social distance observed to the letter. Very close to the metro, marina, taxis outside facility all the time and has a private beach, fitness center that adheres to Covid-19 protocols. Lots of eateries, pharmacies, beauty parlors etc around. Very good breakfast that caters for all including small children. Very safe and secure (forgot to close my safe at least twice and found everything intact!!), safe also for taking an evening jog to the marina and surrounding areas . Staff attitude is fantastic. Was upgraded to a bigger room with a beautiful view. I want to come back soon.
In normal times, this would be a great choice. Sharing the beach facilities of the Hilton across the street, but also being that bit quieter, and having a great roof bar and some nice restaurants attached. My room had a lovely sea view, and I suspect that the balcony views over the harbour are great too. Unfortunately in the current climate I would struggle to recommend it. I suspect that the lifts at the hotel are always an issue. you wait 3-4 minutes for a lift to turn up... not great but doable, except now they have a 3 person maximum recommended capacity and it turns up with 5 people already in. So you wait another few minutes and the next one is the same. And so on. I was on the 6th floor, so decided that the stairs were just about manageable. There are signs encouraging you to take the stairs, but these aren't always easy to find, especially on the lower plaza where they're hidden behind doors marked 'staff only'. The most intriguing covid measure is to close the breakfast room at the walk, and direct everyone to the sister hotel across the street, resulting in massively stretched capacity, and I was there in low season after the Christmas rush. Instead of a help yourself buffet, staff serve you at the buffet stations. However this isn't communicated as you're seated, and inevitably people miss the signs that are dotted around so a lot of people were just serving themselves (generally unchallenged). There's no natural flow to the breakfast stations, so you can wait patiently for someone to serve you, only to have the person who just turned up served first, and someone else barge past and serve themselves... it really wasn't a comfortable experience. The next day I went down a lot earlier and was pleased to see about half the people as there had been on my first day, but it turned out there were about a quarter of the staff, so the issues were the same. If you don't have inclusive breakfast, I would definitely say get room service or go to one of the restaurants!…
