flash was not working no body the shower damaged no one was answering to give no body plus the water , new staff in the reception only one staff all load was on him thats why he dont see the phone call
It was a very pleasant and warm welcoming stay with a quality breakfast at Grand mercure hotel.Mr ahmad assisted me so efficiently and assisted me the best.hotel is super clean and services are really admirable
All good except this Manager JOE, just talks never delivers, cannot manage staff well and that reflects in their poor service. I requested one of the staff ZIAD to give omlette he came back after 45 mins, when asked for one more, he was not very happy and we could notice by his harsh response. He never came back, and when we were leaving, I asked him what happened, he simply said "I forgot". I complained to JOE but as always same reaction..
This is a fairly new hotel opened only about a year ago. The check in was very smooth and professional. We received answers to our queries on the spot. The room itself is very quirky and modern. It comes with tea and coffee making facilities and even an iron and ironing board. Although next to the airport and the monorail it's still quiet and cosy. The hotel is connected with Grand Mercure and we were able to use the rooftop pool there which is absolutely fantastic! They also offer free shuttle service ( everyday apart from Monday) to la Mer beach which is well worth the visit. I would have scored it 5 but they were couple of things that brought the rating down: - The cushions that were on the bed smelled of body odour which means the covers were not change from the previous guest - The shower and toilet are already showing signs of wear and tear - We have extended our stay and informed reception and were told all was fine when in fact when we came back from the beach we couldn't get to the room because the key has been de activated and our room wasn't cleaned either although we asked for it.…
