My husband, another couple, and I stayed here overnight. We had scheduled the booking so we could attend Taste of Dubai. Although the event was canceled, we opted to stay overnight instead of losing the money we'd paid for the rooms. I am so glad we decided to stay. We stayed at Media One several years ago. Much has changed since our last stay. This time, the hotel seemed livelier and much, much cleaner. The employees were so much friendlier and more professional. It was just an altogether drastic improvement. Upon our arrival, I was greeted and directed toward the check in desk. There I was welcomed and checked in by Carolyn. Ms. Carolyn was super professional and helpful. She took time to tell us about the events in the hotel and about the hotel layout. After my husband and I got to our room, we had to call to get our luggage brought up. Although a gentleman had brought our luggage inside the hotel, he left it in the lobby instead of bringing it up to our room. A few minutes after we called for the luggage, Carolyn and Janie knocked on the door to deliver our luggage. Talk about going above and beyond! THANKS Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Janie. We went out for a few hours, and when we returned, we found a tray of delicious fruits and a handwritten personalized card thanking us for our stay. Out of the many hotels we have stayed in globally, no one has ever handwritten a card to express appreciation for my husband and me staying there. That added a personal touch that made us feel exceptionally welcomed. The hotel was very clean! I like the small but significant touches like the refillable soaps in the bathroom, an in-room iron and ironing board, an empty and accessible refrigerator, office supplies, etc. The employees were friendly and helpful. It's in a great location near the Palms and JLT. Taxis are always available out front. If you drive, valet service is fast and efficient. Although there are several clubs, bars, and restaurants in the hotel, it was always calm and quiet in our room. Other than getting some wings, which were quite yummy, from the outdoor sports bar, we did not eat at the hotel. So I am not sure about restaurant food or service. Hopefully we will stay longer the next time. Media One is definitely a YES when it comes to Dubai hotels.

This hotel deserves to receive a 5 star title not just 4. I personally stayed for a couple of days only. Based on my experience, the staff was very friendly and maintained great hospitality. It really was not just a room that I booked, Instead; I actually felt that I’m welcomed and that I’m as important as every other guest. The hotel manager, receptionists, and cleaners were very social as they were able to spread an amazing positive energy throughout my entire stay. In addition, the room itself is very cozy, clean, and well serviced. The room’s hygiene is taken seriously, sheets are changed everyday, and the furniture looks high quality. The location is a plus where you will be able to come across a beautiful view through a big window, and the metro is a 10 minute walk. Moreover, they constantly have different offers in their variety of restaurants and lounges.

Every area in the hotel is neat and clean always.
Room is spacious and have all required facilities. Bathroom is having branded hand wash, body wash, shampoo and body lotion. The room is sanitized and closed and the guest is the first person to open it which makes room 100% safe.
Food is lovely and tasty. Many dishes have become favorites for me and my family.
I was staying with family and was treated really well. We felt that the hotel staffs are like our family members because of the kind way they treated us and supported us during our stay.
Overall experience was awesome. I recommend Media One hotel to every couple and families.

I have stayed in almost 28 different hotels in Dubai and I strongly recommend media one hotel at media city to any guest seeking to visit The UAE. The staffs are very friendly especially when it comes to hospitality and customer relation . My respect to Sue ( the front desk manager who is the best at putting smiles on customers faces, she’s very professional when it comes to attending to guests,If you are having a bad day at work or at home just have a word with Sue and you will never remain depressed. My profound regards also to Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Anuvrat Pundir for their well mannered hospitality , these men are perfect gentlemen of high standard and are very professional when it comes to customer relation , when Ahmed and Mr Anuvrat Pundir speak with you at the front desk you would definitely want to come back another day .
Ever since I stepped my feet on media one hotel I find it difficult to lodge at another hotel because you always feel at home here ,from the food at QWERTY to the hospitality at garden 8 and Coco lounge.
I strongly say a big thank you to one of the female cleaners named Melissa who arranges my clothes and shoes like a mother will do to a son . God bless you mellisa . My regards also to Hassan who makes sure the house keeping is always perfect and up to date , Hassan always check up on each room to make sure guest are satisfied and happy .
Once again , i want to thank the front desk manager (Mrs Sue) , when ever she speaks with you , you will never want to leave the hotel , she knows how to treat customers with respect and ultimate satisfaction (She’s the best staff Media one can ever produce ). Thank you media one for the Hospitality, I am proud to say so far I have recommended more than eight guest from Nigeria and other countries and they are satisfied with the services rendered to them.

WOW.... not sure where to start... probably the best part of our stay at the hotel was the staff. Everyone was brilliant, very friendly, helpful, co-operative, understanding and certainly went out of their way to make our stay superb. We were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and I spoke to Salma before we left from the UK and she went out of her way to dress up the room with various bits, made our anniversary very special & it was a wonderful surprise for my wife. Both Salma & the hotel manager Anuvrat were especially wonderful, very warm & always went out of their way to say hi & help us each day in terms of where we can go & what was best to do. They simply made us feel very special which is a rarity with most hotels. The hotel was a lovely hotel, clean, different, great ambience, good location and unique in its presentation and made us feel that we had arrived at a very classy hotel. The welcome from the moment we walked in was warm & exceptional, even the guys on valeting & parking services were really helpful especially when we needed a taxi. Reception was also super friendly & helpful. We had a few treats sent to our room which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast & food was great, once again the service was awesome. Even the young gentleman that cleaned our room daily was so sweet & polite and helpful, was a real pleasure to have met him also. Overall & genuinely speaking this was an amazing experience, we will certainly be recommending this hotel & its staff to all our friends & family as well as using it in the future for all our Dubai trips. I've travelled all around the world over many years and this is without doubt one of the noisiest, most annoying and downright inconvenient experiences I've had. Let me warn you now - and I cannot stress this enough - make sure you DEMAND a room away from the loud bars and restaurants that share the tower with this hotel. My room happened to be within a floor or three of a place called Mr Miyagi - so the concept of sleep was abandoned as the racket came thumping through the floor well past midnight. The reception said they would ask the restaurant / bar to turn down the music. This had little impact. I ended up changing rooms at 12:30am, as I was due to stay for two more days and it was intolerable. But the idea that this hotel asks you to pay to stay in a room that is having a student party above your ceiling is laughable. This was not some new problem. It's just something Media One ignores until a guest has to lodge an angry complaint. And don't be fooled by the pool pictures, either. In daytime the pool is near permanent shade from the nearby towers. The area where some designer high stools catches sun for half an hour or so. But the sun beds and sun loungers are in shade. To make matters worse the outdoor bar and (non) sundeck plays terrible, TERRIBLE music all day. For some reason, bad cover versions of 'I'm A Barbie Girl' blare our repeatedly on a loop. This is a place where hideous noise is everywhere. I will not return.

Dear Arcturusred, Clearly your stay has been impaired by the noise generated by Mr. Miyagi’s and we apologise for this. Mr. Miyagi’s is operated by the 3rd party operator, and whilst this is no excuse for the disturbance you have faced, since your stay, we have initiated a much tighter control on their music levels later in the evening in order to resolve an unacceptable sleep experience. With regard to the sun; there is sun at Coco Lounge but depending on the time of year and time of day, it will be focused on certain areas of the pool. Overall our stay there was a very fun experience. Location is very good, and staff made sure we were 100% comfortable. Main reason for my stay was Redfest DXB. Entering and leaving the venue was very easy due to the hotels location. So I highly recommend people to visit and stay at the hotel if they are willing to come for Redfest.

Music was too loud, AC was very bad at night, pillows are so uncomfortable and the towels had so much bad smell and the reception are very bad, and no managers or supervisors available in the hotel, only unprofessional receptionist and security, and from reading the reviews am not the only one who they tried to rip-off with any extra charges, they tried to charge me 1000 AED for smoking in the room, while they have no signs or stickers in the room saying that it is non smoking room, but ofcourse we signed a paper that no one reads and there it says its non smoking hotel, receptionist refused to give me her name and said that bad reviews can be easily deleted and laughed, and non of the staff are wearing any name badges. So much drunk and night girls in the lobby after midnight, very bad experience and never going to book there again so should everyone else. From hearing the staff call each other i think i got one receptionist name which sounded like Mika and the security name was something like Debaq, so unprofessional they should not work in hotels. And i blame all the managers and duty managers for not being in the hotel, again so unprofessional.

Dear Ahmed Your review is clearly ‘COVID lock-down’ inspired as you have written this review in July 2020 and stayed at Media One in September 2019! First of all I believe that your review has been written in anger due to the cleaning charge that was applied to your room bill. As you have correctly stated, the check-in form clearly mentions that ‘Media One is proud to be a non-smoking hotel. A cleaning charge of AED500 will be applied to any guest who smokes in their room’ – Our intention to not to apply the cleaning charge, but to prevent guests from smoking in our rooms, as we have to deep clean and fumigate the room in order to prevent a new guest having a smoke odour. I do recommend, for your own benefit, that you never sign any document that you have not clearly read. Media One Hotel is the perfect choice to visit Dubai. The location is near to everything, in few minutes of taxi or public transports you can reach all the main attractions and beaches!!

Fantastic facilities, friendly staff and good food! From the pickup at the airport, WiFi in the car, very personable driver - Atif, to the seamless check-in to the room, facilitated by the ever helpful Abidemi.
