For a 5-star luxury hotel, the Sofitel JBR has a lot of room for improvement in terms of furnishings, ambience, rooms and pool. An adjustment should be made urgently in order to maintain the 5 star level.

Our room was very clean and everything was replenished daily and in multiple copies so we exactly got the room as requested in advance.
The service in the restaurant "AOC" under the management of Mr. Sandeep Kumar is surpassed. Since I walk on crutches and require a certain level of comfort, my stay was made more than perfect. The team around Mr. Sandeep Kumar, especially Mr. Shubham Desai (appreciated your glutenfree breakfast and all your efforts) and Mr. Naveen James (perfect dinner in time and great conversations), took amazing care of us. Our table was always done and ready. Everything went in time, as ordered and more tasty than expected. The entire team matched flawless and there wasn't a single wish that wasn't fulfilled immediately and with a smile. They always had an eye on us and all the other guests. Perfect doesn't even come close to describing it! Mr. Sandeep Kumar is an extraordinary leader. He leads his team kindly, grooms his employees, extends his hand to them and he acts with a certain degree of humor, which is reflected in the friendly aura of the employees, regardless of whether it is the pretty ladies at the reception desk with good mood, the cooks and bakers in the kitchen or the employees directly in the restaurant. There is a harmony there at eye level, which can be easily judged after a 3-week stay. We had long and funny conversations, which created a nice atmosphere. I only had breakfast at the hotel - it was excellent. They clean efficiently and carefully, they even fold clothes if they suddenly leave something scattered. Very satisfied. In general, everyone is friendly and always ready to help if you need anything.
The beach (not owned by the hotel) is somewhat dirty: cigarette butts and other rubbish are found everywhere. Sunbeds are paid, but they are not particularly needed - it is very comfortable on the sand and most vacationers sit on towels on the sand. Also near the beach there is Smoky beach, where you can sit comfortably on pillows with a hookah and cocktails and go swimming straight from there. From the minute we arrived at the hotel the we received a warm genuine welcome. The reception staff were very quick and efficient getting us checked in and settled into our room. The room was of a very high standard and were cleaned every day by the hard working staff. Breakfast in the morning is probably the best choice of food I've had in over 25 years traveling abroad. The executive chef Mr Akil Ahmad is always checking everything is to the guests expectations and is happy to chat with guests and ask if there is anything he can do to enhance their stay. He's helped by Sandeep and Naveen who make sure everything is run smoothly and are also happy to have a chat with guests. Ahmed and his omelettes deserve a special mention for his welcoming happy face every morning. We visited the seafood night at the restaurant and the quality of food was excellent and is well worth a visit. Symbat in the hotel bar is another credit to the hotel with her efficient service and always has a smile on her face. Pool wise it's an infinity pool overlooking the street below and a beautiful view of the sea in the distance. Thalip the life guard was always helpful in getting us a nice location near the pool and Miraz was constantly helping guests with drinks and snacks. There is nothing negative I could say about this hotel in anyway everything was excellent and I would recommend the hotel to anyone. We've actually booked up to come back later in the year and were counting the days till our return visit.

We appreciated our stay during almost 10 days. The location is one of the best in Dubai, the beach access, the marina by 5 min on foot, the pool view, the breakfast was very good, healthy with lot of diversity. Appreciate Mehdi’s preparation every morning in the egg platform. The view was great on the beach even partial and the room was very nice and clean. The housekeeping team was fantastic, despite cleaning the room which was not always easy, Saiful who was in charge made lot of efforts, towels in different funny shapes for the kids, always trying to put our stay memorable at the hotel, being proactive! We are very thankful for his dedication. The team at the reception was always very helpful. In short great family experience thanks to the location and the great staff. We will come back for sure.

A truly Fantastic hotel with welcoming, friendly and happy staff who seem to genuinely care that you have the best experience possible. We visited the hotel for our anniversary and there were so many extra touches that made our stay so much better. Thankyou to Narayan & Puskar for their efforts, going above & beyond to make our stay extra special, including handwritten notes, flower arrangements, swans from towels and even a celebratory cake in our room upon arrival. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard and it's great to see such a large hotel also consider its environmental impact and sustainability. Breakfasts are a real treat with international dishes, made to order items, and a wide variety of fruits, meats, breads, pastries and fabulous fresh juices and refreshments. The pool is everything you need to cool off in the Dubai heat with towels and loungers looked after and attended to throughout the day. The swim up bar is an added luxury. The hotel is right on the beach with a wide range if amenities and restaurants within minutes walk. It would be difficult to better the experience here

Good day. A wonderful hotel, upon arrival you can safely refuse the “required deposit” and they will simply close the minibar in your room. As you understand, a deposit is not required)) The hotel has Russian-speaking hotel staff both at the reception and in the restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast is good. There is a pool with a beautiful view of the sea and the Blue Waters island, from morning until 13 o’clock there is practically no one in the pool, you can swim calmly. After lunch I went to the beach, which is across the road. The hotel provided an umbrella, a sunbed, a towel with a beach bag. Room cleaning was excellent, instead of the required 2 items. They always brought 4-5 liter bottles of water. It is better to take a room with a side sea view from the 20th floor or higher, the noise from the street is practically inaudible. I had a late check-out and my stay at the hotel was extended for free. Rested at the hotel from 01/03/24 to 01/08/2024. Have a great mood and relaxation everyone. I recommend the hotel.

My first time in Dubai and my hotel of choice was Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach. I choose this hotel based on previous reviews and I was not disappointed. The staff are ok, but I have to give it to my room attendant, Tiratha on the 17th floor. My room is being attended twice daily and replaced with fresh towels , wash rags along with the replacement of my tea

What a beautiful clean hotel, I stayed 10 nights with my elderly parents. All staff are polite and very accommodating especially Puhan from housekeeping. He cleaned our room daily and worked around my elderly parents, he was thoughtful and cleaned the room when we went for breakfast. Puhan always made sure we had enough water and provided milk for our English tea. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed, thank you Puhan. This is a beautiful hotel and the views from our room were magical especially at night. The beds were very comfortable and a good size. Highly recommend this hotel only negative would be that there is lots of traffic making journeys longer.

The hotel provides slippers for bedroom , toiletries and beach towels a bag to put the beach towel in and also a sun umbrella which is a small one which you stick in the ground yourself
