Excellent service and overall experience. Clean spacious rooms. Fitness room. Breakfast included. Helpful staff. Surrounding area doesn't have much to offer but felt at home at the property. Rooms are well thought out with efficient design.

Mark on reception gave us a nice welcome. The room was clean and nicely appointed. We are interested in the environment, so seeing paper plates at breakfast and not styrofoam was a refreshing change. The bathrooms had refillable shampoo and body wash, so no wasteful miniature bottles.

The one issue encountered was that (for some reason) the groundskeeper/custodian thought it was a good idea to use a blower before 8am directly beneath where the guest rooms are. There are more appropriate times for this activity. A little thought is needed for guests who may want to sleep in.

I am an IGH member, so I have stayed in quite a few Holiday Inns over the years. This one is at the lowest end of the list. The bed was substantial to the point of being super uncomfortable. The AC unit only worked on low, and the fan didn't blow hard at all. After dealing with it for a few days, we stay because packing to change rooms wasn't an option. The first night we arrived, we were told there were no open rooms; all rooms were booked, so we just roughed it with the one given (Room 340). The TV had issues as well. When I spoke to the serviceman, he said he was sorry about the AC and TV, but there was nothing he could do...
The continental breakfast didn't have many choices, but we understood due to Covid. I can't complain about that. You have to give up something to be outside.
The highlight of the stay was the service of the ladies who worked the desk; morning, afternoon, and evening they were the greatest and super friendly. If my room had been on par with the lady's service, this would have been a 5-star stay.
I want to thank Cathy A., who was pleased to talk to you, was great at doing her job and the other ladies. A+++++ Staff.

I would give this hotel a 5 star rating based on Carmen's welcome and service at the front desk alone.
We booked a king suite, last minute booking and hotel was quite full.
Room had all the appearances of a post covid hotel room. Armoire, not a closet; wall mounted toiletries (dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash), no hand soap, no lotion or kleenex. In fairness. I didn't ask the desk although they do offer this option.Excellent wifi, iron, ironing board, microwave and fridge in our room. Small exercise room open but not "spa" area. Breakfast starts at 7 and behind closed doors so dont go early. Usual offerings but fresh and plentiful. Coffee station outside which you can access before 7.
When ou exit the hotel, walk down the "hill" turn right and walk on the sidewalk under the overpass you'll find Bentley's Pub. Nice walking distance (5 minutes) , great service and generous, wholesome food.

This hotel is right on an"island" of land, close to 395, with easy access. You can see that it is a business hotel of the old school with the requisite, slightly outdated furniture. Lounge chair, desk, entertainment center, the obligatory Keurig Coffee machine, refrigerator. They should supply tea as well as coffee. One of the nice features is dedicated reading lights. This is a perfectly adequate hotel, with no atmosphere whatsoever. I noted there is a golf course adjacent. The covid precautions were adequate, though I would have preferred contactless entry, as I experienced recently at a Hilton property. I would also recommend that they allow their windows to be opened, under Covid circumstances. Instead, I simply turned off the circulated air system. As for rooms, I would advise asking for a room away from the highway side. Mine was on the highway side, and of course, traffic noise continues all night, Of course I always bring ear plugs.

The big disappointment was the breakfast. Yes, it was bagged, as it should be, but with the money they are saving on the breakfast buffet, they could do better. A container of yogurt, sugar one of the first ingredients. A food bar, also mostly sugar, A bagel which was barely a bagel, soft and squishy. Folks! How about hard boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, food bars that aren't such obvious junk? Bags w/eggs/cheese could be labeled, for vegetarians or vegans that do not want these items. Pleas do better with breakfast quality!

It’s not a put down to say if you’ve stayed in 1 Holiday Inn Express you’ve stayed in them all. This H. Inn was as clean and efficiently staffed as any I’ve been in. The breakfast actually might have been a bit better than others H. Inns. Room was also a bit bigger than I’m accustomed to. It actually had a decent, though slightly worn, easy chair. (Maybe it’s because of the fact this property is billed as a H. Inn Express and Suite.) While you couldn’t say the property is pristine and brand new it was clean, especially the bathroom, which is what I consider the most important aspect of any hotel room. It was over $600:for 3 nights—-at a Holiday Inn Express—in a small town suburb—of a fairly small city. Whatever, we’d stay again if we were in the area.

Happy to find this Holiday Inn Express room beautifully renovated. Efficient and pleasant design of room: bedside tables floating, flexible reading lights on the headboard, table lamps with chargers, and even a tv with inputs for devices and Fire Sticks, etc. New microwave and refrigerator, single cup Keurig. No luggage racks, but a rollout desktop under a high table make for plenty of flat surface on which to organize your stuff. Bathroom was fine. Breakfast areas excellent: no silly pancake or waffle maker, but everything else you could possibly want. AND, a tall table with EIGHT bar stools, which I think would be nice for a large family or couples traveling together. Management and housekeeping just as friendly and accommodating as possible.

Great staff at this hotel! Ali and Mark at check in were very friendly. I was recognized as a rewards member and that never happens at most locations. There were fresh cookies in the lobby at check in which was a nice touch. Mark recommended a local restaurant which was good. Ali followed up with a text message a bit later to make sure the room was fine and to see if we needed anything. The breakfast staff didn't let the trash pile up and they cleaned the tables with sanitizer. We rode the elevator with Carmen and she helped us at check out too, answering a question for my wife. The room was as it should be. Clean and comfortable. The property is well maintained and it looks to me like the staff cares about what they do. We will definitely stay here again.

We came in from out of state for a wedding and arrived to see 2 different wedding parties and a whole soccer team staying at the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, we were able to check in early and we could tell how hard the staff was working to make everyone's stay enjoyable. Everyone was incredibly friendly and very welcoming/understanding to get us set up and ready to go. Breakfast times were crazy but the staff was on top of keeping food full and chatted with us like we were friends. Being in the service industry we were very impressed with the level of hospitality given at this hotel. Keep up the good work!

Stayed for two nights.I would say this hotel is ver tired and needs an update. The reason for a three instead of a one is all the staff were very nice. The top of the cabinet where the microwave had so much dust you would think it had not been cleaned since hotel opened. Both mornings coffee ran out.The second morning I am not even sure someone was in charge of the breakfast room. One pot for a full house. While I was eating my breakfast I heard four people checking out .All four had complaints .One lady had a list of complaints. My niece went to her room and the room was a mess and had to move to another room only to find the ac did not work. Once agin staff is wonderful in an untenable situation.
