Enjoy your stay in Panama City!
I was planning to stay 1 night and stayed 3 nights instead. My room was huge, with a well equipped kitchen. The hotel is quiet, I was able to sleep very well. The air conditioning unit in the room made my stay very comfortable. The hotel is well located, with lots of restaurants and shops just around the corner. The metro station is accessible within a 5 minute walk. The staff is friendly and speaks English. I was very impressed with how clean the hotel and my room were. Thank you for such a great stay!
We stayed here with a small baby and found it very handy to have the little kitchen to prepare her meals and store fruit and milk in the fridge. The location is good, close to many different restaurants, super markets and shops. They were very helpful at reception offering to print some documents for us. We would stay here again on another trip!
I stayed in this hotel during all my stay in Panama and it was amazing. I really enjoyed the location of the hotel because it was close to everything that I wanted to see in the city. Apart from this it was very comfortable and very clean. Overall an excellent experience for me!
Excellent hotel in the heart of Congrejo area. Close to Metro subway station. Close to excellent restaurants. Wonderful staff. The Rooms are huge and clean. Front desk woman (sorry, forgot her name) was fantastic with tips and guidance for restaurants and things to do. More importantly, how to get some town. Very pleasantly surprised and happy with Hotel Coral Suites.
The staff is superb and genuinely nice people. They keep the rooms and facilities very clean and usable. With the pandemic ebbing because of Panama's no-nonsense approach to mitigating strategies, things are starting to return to normal. However, the food court next door gets a little noisy and stays that way on weekends. I complained about the noise and they immediately put me in an interior suite that was very quiet. The key to enjoying your stay is to communicate what you need. I bought a skillet because my kitchen didn't have one but when I mentioned it, they said if they had known, they would have provided one. So, don't hesitate to ask for what you need. The pool and rooftop deck is cool and provides a good view of the surrounding city. If you need to go someplace, Adriano is usually just outside in the white Hundai and will get you there faster and cheaper usually than the Uber drivers who depend on their phone's gps. Adriano has been driving these streets for 50 plus years and knows them by heart. Coral Suites is not the Waldorf Astoria but it is a comfortable sanctuary in the middle of Cangrejo, two city blocks from the metro, El Rey supermarket and Via Espana. There is a great variety of cuisine within just a few blocks, even American fast food if you prefer. I'll be back.…
This was our third time at Coral Suites but it appears that the pandemic has had a negative effect on this hotel. We stayed for 6 weeks so we had lots of time to notice how things were falling apart. Firstly, there was an extremely annoying, intermittent noise from the rooftop water pump which could be heard in our room at all times. We changed rooms three times in an attempt to escape the noise but it was impossible to get away from. You have to stay on the 4th or 5th floor to avoid street noise and be sure to request a room on the quiet side so the neighbouring restaurant doesn't keep you awake until 3 am on weekends. We also had cockroaches in our room the whole time, in spite of numerous requests for fumigations. The rooftop pool area was often very dirty in the morning with cigarette butts and empty beer bottles scattered under the tables. The pool filter and pump malfunctioned in our last week and the pool went completely green. We were told that the breakfast room was shut down because of covid restrictions but we soon discovered that other hotels in the area were serving breakfast buffets so that obviously was not true. The hotel was in a general state of neglect and disrepair with peeling paint, dirty floor and wall tiles and dusty doors and stair rails. In spite of its super friendly and helpful staff, we will not be returning to Coral Suites.…
We found the Hotel Coral Suites a fantastic place to stay, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were kept very clean and linen was changed everyday, I must admit, I have been to many hotels but here I felt very homely and that's important to me, I will always return to Hotel Coral Suites in the future, worth 5 stars, impressive, Philip levy
My stay in this hotel was amazing. It is located in a good location surrounded by anything you need. Apart from this the rooms and service where extremely good and they have things like gyms and pools to use. Very good experience in general, I recommend it to anybody going to Panama.
The Hotel was very good. The rooms were big, comfortable, and clean. The hotel also had a great gym with many machines to use. The hotel had a beautiful pool where I went with my family and had a good sunny day. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that is traveling to Panama.
I saw positive reviews and ratings for this hotel so chose it for extended stay in Panama city. This is what I found: No breakfast even though stated on website there was. The kitchen was not"fully equipped". Fry pan and pot had to be replaced which was done when I asked. Originals warped and damaged. Also no mixing bowl or oven pans. The full component of dishes was not present and I had to ask for them (twice) The blackout shade had a broken hook and was fixed by bunching it up with another hook. To close the curtains that were stuck behind the sofa I had to stand on the sofa. To get water in the kitchen sink I had to run it for 2-3 minutes (I timed it!). Maintenance came but told me to run the water longer. This was true bathroom sink and shower and the only really hot water was in the shower after running for awhile. By the end of the day my socks were dirty from walking on the floor. The halls were not mopped the entire week I was there. I do not consider this a super clean hotel. I did ask for a quiet room and was told it did look out on a building - it was room 411 and was dark during day. Outside construction noise during the days and weird, intermittent fog horn like sound at night. When I washed my clothes the last night the drain hose had come out of the drain (possibly from vibration of the machine) and when I went to retrieve the clothes the entire floor was covered in water. Staff is excellent but I did not want to risk another room so left early. …
