stayed 3 days here .stay was pleasant but staff is very rude & non cooperative & food is worst .try other options instead an other problem is understanding of English is very basic you will have problem is communicating .
This is a comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. The rooms were spacious. The bed was super comfortable. I would stay there again, mostly because of the outstanding staff. They are very professional, helpful and just a pleasure to interact with. Even on my last day when I had a series of unfortunate "personal" mishaps, the staff, particularly at the front desk, were extremely accommodating and patient. The dining room wait staff were attentive and prompt. I speak little to no Spanish, but we managed to communicate, and several even patiently tried to help me learn. Overall, just a lovely group of employees.
The hotel personal was accommodating, fluent in English, and foremost agreeable and well mannered. Breakfast is too greasy for our taste, and poorly attended. The quality of the rooms is deficient due sound transmission and moldy shower floors. Although the hotel is kept clean, regrettably the construction quality is very poor, and certainly is not the hotel to blame since those are major considerations that apparently weren't considered during design and construction
DON'T GO. Fleas - my 2nd stay and was the same last time. I tried again 1 month+ on as I like the apartments and Marriott usually has good reputation. Not so here. A real shame as there's a lot that is really positive physically in the place and I so wanted to like it. However, this time I got really ill from flea bites w infection, nausea, diarrhea, light headed etc. There's clearly flea infestation over time that has got into bed mattresses. I actually saw them. So I had hassle to change rooms in middle of night. Got a room downgrade Not upgrade despite request. Person who helped move in night said they had to file report and took photos of bites. Report wasn't filed and Manager Alison next day tried to say no fleas and I must have sensitive skin (after 1st clearing reception area of guests). Nonsense. I showed a few of the many bites I had but she insisted her staff said no fleas, nothing wrong w mattress, clean linen etc. So nothing done to get rid of fleas in mattress. Manager accepted staff's claims all fine (they're motivated to avoid fault) over guest's evidence. Wierd. Room I was moved to had no coffee machine, gas switched off, safe didn't work. So upkeep is slack. Top rate paid, no discount, treated shabilly by staff. The staff are out of the depth and not well trained. Example, a business hotel should be able to scan 2 documents as requested (not as 1) You need to ask for water, it's not supplied. Internet wifi blocked for computer (troubleshoot report shown) but excuses no need to sort because not happen with others. "You can use your phone so that's good enough" (I've spine problems). So not up to standard for business. When I'm leaving still I'll I'm told "See you again soon." Make your own conclusions. Mine weren't positive.…
I stayed there for seven days, in September 2021, on a tourist trip to Panama City. It's a nice hotel, quiet, close to Avenida Espana. It is a two block walk to the Metro (El Carmen stop) and there are supermarkets nearby as well. There is a kitchen, living area, and bedroom. I liked the location. It is close to the El Congrejo neighborhood, and perhaps a 15 minute walk to Balboa and the Cinta Costera. The staff was helpful. I printed out a few documents via the front desk when I left.
Stayed there for 2 weeks. Good hotel with a above average service. Would recommend for a long stay with family. Room is spacious and clean. Amenities are ok and kitchen, though could be updated, is workable.
We have stayed one day with colleagues. In all I'd highly recommend this place. Rooms are clean, foods are tasty and staff are professional and kind. Especially thanks to Ariel from reception. He was so polite and helpfull
Hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Furniture was heavily stained, mold in the bathroom, TV is outdated and didn't work very well, room was dark and dreary. Staff was pleasant and polite. Wouldn't recommend eating in the restaurant. Also please note that if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member this property doesn't accept Marriott EGift cards. Also, doesn't provide full points or elite night credits.
Dirty, smelling bad, sometimes smelling cigarrete. I asked for the option of cleaning every working day but it was not done because of some government rule. So why did you ask? They don't even refil the toilet paper. Breakfast was horrible some bread were divided into smaller pieces to optimize the individual servings. I understand it is Covid time but I think you don't need to take advantage on this.
While visiting a friend in Panama City, we stayed at the Marriott Executive Apartments. The rooms were great, incredibly clean and nicely furnished. We had breakfast every morning on the 1st floor. Great Omelettes made by the chef and Javier, a waiter, was very friendly. The Marriott is centrally located and they offer some good tours at the reception. We highly recommend the Marriott Executive Apartments!
