Tantalo is a fun and trendy hotel in the Casco Viejo neighborhood. The decorations and art are phenomenal: The staff are helpful and nice. I arrived early in the morning and they were able to hold my bags while I explored the neighborhood. I only had one meal at the restaurant which was very average. Also be aware that the rooftop is open until 2am and is VERY loud. I have no issue sleeping through noise, but if you are sensitive to loud noise, it would be an issue. Otherwise, a great stay for my first trip to Panama. I would stay here again.

This was a great rooftop in Casco Viejo with amazing views of the beautiful Panama city skyline. The service, food, drinks and DJ also make it a great experience. If you are looking for a place to go with a nice vibe, great drinks and tasty food to eat, you can’t go wrong with Tantalo. The vibe was so great, we went twice. The place is very modern and definitely worth visiting.

The place is cool, with local art everywhere, huge rooms and a nice rooftop bar. Location is ideal, right at the entrance to the old town. Food is pretty good and service is excellent. Only issues are with noise if you are on the 3rd floor (just below the rooftop bar) or facing the street since at 4am when they close the bar the people leaving create a ruckus. Get room #3 if you can, its the quietest. Also, water in the showers is ok but not very hot if that's an issue for you.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 non-consecutive nights. The front desk staff are great and even escorted us to our rooms and gave us lemon water. The boutique hotel is decorated in cool artwork. Rooms have a funky design and I like that there is a balcony. Perfect shower. Comfortable bed though I wish they wouldn't use down as it's cruelty to animals. The rooftop restaurant/bar is really neat and the food is excellent. Only thing is the rooftop staff aren't friendly. Music can be loud late into the night for those bothered by noise.

The best place in Panama, all the staff are so nice, great drinks, awesome food, play great music. The manager Jose is a fantastic host, another real standout is Juliet, so nice and fantastic service. I really enjoyed Taco Tuesday there!
