Best hotel in Panama. The whole experience is next level. From the luxurious lobby, to the halls of the hotel decked in the most varied collection of photos and maps of Panama to be found anywhere. There is the choice to stay in the Spanish, American or French wings, where the rooms all have different architectural styles. We stayed in the Spanish wing, a building from the mid 18th century, beautifully refurbished, with attention to the smallest detail. The courtyard lends great ambiance to any meal or celebration. The swimming pool on the roof top, next to the bar, is just the right size. The beds are awesome, the room was really cozy. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. There are four restaurants in the hotel, my favorite is 1739 with its wine cellar and awesome French cuisine. All in all, I have nothing but praise for this establishment, and will return asap.…

Words cannot describe how amazing Hotel La Campania is! We are overwhelmed by the beauty of the property, the top-notch service we received & the amazing food & cocktails we enjoyed during our 4 night stay. Luxurious details across the board! We were lucky to have a mini-tour of the property and hear about the rich history of the buildings. Amenities galore, sunsets on the roof-top bar were not to be missed! We highly recommend staying here, we have plans to return~

If you are a Hyatt loyalist and have been to many of their brands across the world, this one should be on your must-do list. The old-world + luxury combo is hard to beat. The location is excellent and if you want to eat at the hotel, you have many options. The service is over the top attentive.

Wow! Beautiful, unique hotel, amazing staff, super clean, beautiful room, super comfortable bed... I was there on a business trip and this was a 5 star experience all around! Staff met us at the car with umbrellas as we were arriving and leaving to events, they held the doors, gave us directions... The food was amazing, the room big and luxurious! I can keep going. Just book it and try for yourself

One of the most amazing hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. This place is the definition of quality customer service. Every single person from the maids to the owner went above and beyond. The GM Mr. Fidel Reyes was very attentive and an interesting person to have a conversation with. You can tell that he loves to be involved with everything at the hotel. We even met the owner of the hotel and he gave us a brief history of the location and the amount of work that went into this work of art. It was like staying at your favorite museum with comfortable rooms and your favorite restaurants. I’m usually the type who saves money by staying at an Airbnb and cook my own food, but this place was worth the money to get spoiled for a week. My wife and I will definitely come back. I highly recommend this place, especially if you want to impress your significant other.…

I didn't stay here but we had a dinner function. What a fabulous location and wonderful decor with various lovely bars and restaurants and wonderful views. Dinner was very nice indeed. My only criticism would be that the set starter and main were both beef. Delicious beef but still a bit odd to have it for both savoury courses. (It's possible that my company selected the menu though!).

I would recommend La Compania to anyone wanting to visit Casco Antiguo. It is a beautiful hotel - great value for cost and the staff are wonderful! I loved the rooftop pool and bar area. The rooms were gorgeous. A variety of restaurants onsite is good. My only critique is that eating dinner on the terrace of one of the two restaurants in the courtyard was compromised by loud and in my view not dining appropriate music coming from Hari's restaurant also in the courtyard.

Hotel La Compañia is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in with the most incredible staff. My husband and I took a trip to Panama for our wedding anniversary. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we felt like we stepped into a different world. The hotel itself is like an art gallery rich with history. Each wing of the hotel represents a different era in Panamanian history. The décor in each wing is so unique, you feel like you stepped into a movie set. The rooms themselves are extremely comfortable. It was hard to get out of bed each morning. Beds and bedding are so soft and cozy! In addition, the roof top pool was a great place to cool off during the hot days. There is a bar with food (Cuban sandwich was the BEST) and all the drinks you want, clean bathroom, and even a shower. But perhaps the best part about this hotel is its staff. Everyone that works there went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Upon arrival, our room had a welcome note with chocolate covered strawberries congratulating us on our anniversary. Before we even arrived, the concierge helped us book several day tours to explore Panama. All the staff at the restaurants and bars were so attentive and polite. And the food at the hotel restaurants cannot be beat. You literally do not have to leave the hotel to go anywhere because there are so many choices of restaurants, all of which are amazing! If you want to get away and enjoy a relaxing vacation with incredible food and be surrounded by incredible local people, this is the hotel for you. We cannot wait to go back.…

What an historic treasure has been created in Casco Viejo. A hotel created from a Jesuit convent and the first university of Panamá. More than 2,000 images from the three major influences of Panamá. Spanish, French and the US. Each has its distinct place in the history and the hotel. There are hotel rooms that match each in the historic buildings they represent. Wonderful restaurants (5) and bars including a rooftop to overlook the old city.
