Thai place is amazing. The most cutting edge hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Takes a day to figure out the elevators and the lay of the land but it’s actually very simple. Reminds me of a cruise ship tooth picked in the ground. The suite corner high floor units are Amazing. Massive and very elegant. The bathtub and shower bathroom area being open and the windows giving full 270 degree views was impeccable. Club lounge was nice but breakfast was basic and they didn’t include brinks at happy hour. However at dinner time they did have more of an actual meal than yo would find anywhere else. Staff at club was excellent. The gentleman secured our outside table from the birds for 5 mins while we were reloading at the Buffett. Overall an exciting one of a kind experience and a must do if in Panama. The lobby bar on the 15th floor - Cava 15, was recently renovated and it completely lost its character as a refine lobby bar. The opinion of residents and guests was not taken into consideration, or a survey conducted. The place now looks dark and more like a brothel. It lost its elegant ambiance.

I stayed at the JW for 3 nights and it was amazing. From the infitnity pool to the bars/ restaurants on the hotel, it was simple awesome. the staff were very friendly and the hotel was nice to walk around and very big. The gym was very good too.

It is in a great city location close to shops and restaurants. The Multi Plaza mall is a 15 minute walk away. Uber rides were $3 -$5 to Casca Viejo and surrounding areas. From the luggage handlers to housekeeping, everyone was so nice and attentive. Valeria checked us in and provided great customer service and recommendations for area attractions. She also called around to assist us in finding special alcohol not sold in the US. The partial ocean view double bed rooms are large, appropriately stocked and perfect for our visit. I spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view. Room Cons: There is only a curtain separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. This is not ideal when traveling with friends or anyone you don't want to see you in your birthday suit. The water was not hot on our first full day, it was very warm. It may have been because we were on the 34th floor and showering at the same time as everyone else. It was like the hotel heard us and the water was definitely hot afterwards. We ordered an ice bucket along with blankets and they were delivered within minutes. The attendant also showed us how to use the coffee maker to make hot tea. I am impressed by the speed and attentiveness of everyone on staff. You must allow time in your visit for the infinity pools. There is plenty of seating in and around the pool to enjoy the gorgeous ocean views on one side and the city views on the other. The Azul restaurant/bar attendants were very attentive and provided excellent service. The Sunday brunch at Masi is another must do. There are a ton of mouth watering buffet options, a carving station, live music and unlimited mimosas. One of the many highlights of our stay. Our family went for my husband’s birthday. The hotel JWMarriott was beautiful. The room had everything we needed. The restaurants inside the hotel were all very good. The staff was very helpful as to where to go, and any questions we had. The hotel is situated in a very nice area. Panama was a great experience. We used Uber to get everywhere which I thought was a great idea. We were thinking about renting a car but because of parking and traffic I would say using Uber was the better deal.

We vacationed in Panama from August 12 through August 20 and stayed at the JW Marriott, on Calle Punta Colón, Punta Pacifica. While traveling/vacationing, we spend a lot of time off of the beaten path, and thus interact with many locals in the surrounding areas/cities/neighborhoods. Each day we would come back with pictures of where we visited/went to, and during our stay at the Marriott, Elizabeth, Jose, Maxine, Jesus, and Diana took some time and gave us some background/details about our adventuring. Thank you all for the wonderful information. You all made our time there feel as if though we were amongst friends. We look forward to returning. This is a great hotel in an excellent location close to many nice restaurants. The view is beautiful from the rooftop bar. Have a drink on the rooftop bar and relax. The pool area is very clean and nice. The staff are very friendly and professional.

The hotel was first rate in every respect. The kids loved the pools (all four of them!), the staff was fabulous and they treated elite members to great amenities. The elite lounge was among the best I've ever experienced at a Marriott with wonderful personnel especially Maxine, Diana, Jose, Elizabeth and Jesus. The front desk was also very accommodating. Still amazed at those swimming pools!

We visited as a couple with our two year old daughter in June and could not have been made to feel more welcome – from the initial greeting after a long day of travel (and arriving in a storm!), to the upgraded room on a high floor with amazing views, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They sent warm milk to the room for our daughter (and although initially said they were going to charge us, actually let us have it) and brought our room service order soon after ordering which was much appreciated. The room was lovely – took a bit of getting used to the fact that the bath was only separated from the bedroom by a curtain – not much in the way of privacy for the bathroom generally – but the bed was a good size, a cot was brought up for our daughter and the views from the balcony were fabulous. The pool area in particular was amazing – the infinity pools (two) have amazing views and there is one shallower heated pool (which we only realised on the last day!) for the little ones. There is a bar and food available at the pool area and the pizza we had was delicious. The location of the hotel was great – very central and the surrounding area felt very safe. It was a short taxi ride to the old town, Casco Viejo and a 30 minute drive to the edge of the rainforest.
