We love Hotel Oasis and its proprietors! Carolina, Damian and all the staff are the most hospitable folks we've ever encountered. It's a lovely place with lots of flowers and artwork, very comfortable rooms, and delicious meals. We always feel perfectly safe and so well-cared-for. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

my mom experience, was not that wonderful as they are picturing this here. they ask us to pay upfront for her stay, 40day to be exact they never come by and clean her room until she ask during her stay BTW only once they clean. due to health issue, she need to leave 17 days prior to her departure. we ask to be refunded for the 17 days that she was not going to be staying and they told us that, their policy is not refundable, $29 per night she was charge we told them no one had said that before. after several talks they said we will refund you 50% $246.50USD they stay with other portion as they claim that it was going to be hard to rent the room. Is a hotel I highly doubt that. Moral of this lesson don't pay upfront in cash in here.

Since 2004, I've traveled each year with a group from Washington D.C. Ethical Society to visit El Salvador. Nearly every time we've come, Oasis has been our go-to place to rest, refresh and get ready to go to work with our friends in Cabanas. Due to Covid, we have not been able to travel for two years running. Last November, we decided to make the trip and we are so glad that we did. The staff at the Oasis gave us a warm welcome. They took great care to always have masks on and gave us great information for our travels. We felt totally cared for and safe. And they have upped their game. The food was delectable and the beautiful plants and paintings are out of this world. We hope to return in June and will make Oasis a part of our journey.

We had a lovely experience at Hotel Oasis. We stayed for four nights and loved it! The staff were so welcoming and kind. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, and the artwork is amazing! A great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

I stayed here for one night after arriving from Suchitoto and had an early morning flight. The hotel is located very close to the university in a very safe and secure area. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds, fans, flat screen TV, safe deposit box. Bathrooms are absolutely clean with good water pressure. No hot water required. There is an open terrace with view of the volcano. Staff at the reception could speak excellent English and provide information about San Salvador. Local buses to the historic center are available a few mins walk from the hotel. Not many eating places around but the Commercial Centre was about a 15min walk where there was a huge supermarket and tons of American fast food. One Mexican restaurant and an ok Pizza joint not far from the hotel. A little over priced by El Salvador standards. Wifi was good. Since I was leaving early I was not able to try the breakfast. However, the staff provided a pastry and a bottle of water. Was trying to get the hotel to get me a local taxi to the airport but they recommended an Acaciya taxi which cost $28. I am sure during the day it would be safe to use the local taxis and much cheaper too. All in all a very good one night stay.…

l felt so comfortable and at home, l ended up staying 13 nights at the Oasis. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are english speaking staff members if you don't speak or understand spanish. The rooms are clean and comfortable with fans, air conditioning, Wi Fi and flat screen TVs included. The food the kitchen serves is tasty, especially the breakfasts. The only issue l had was the small portions of food they served. However, once l spoke to them about this, they were only more happy to increase the quantity of food at no extra charge. l was impressed with their openness to feed back to improve services. Nearby, there are more restraunts if you don't want to eat in the hotel. The Oasis offers unlimited filtered drinking water at no extra charge to guests so you don't have to keep buying bottled water The hotel is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. l liked the fact that you can reach downtown by taxi, bus or uber in 15 minutes or 1 hour by foot. The Hotel Oasis is a home away from home. I stayed here for 8 nights on a school trip and every night was a treat! From a fantastic sunrise view of the volcano to delicious tropicals in the fridge whenever you want, this place has it all. The staff is second to none and their hospitality is something I have never seen before (not to mention the cooking is amazing). If you are in the area it is a no brainer, this is the place to stay!
