Following a recent cruise, my wife and I were not looking forward to a long last day with nowhere to park our bags. Debarcation from the cruise ship was at 10:00 am and our flight home did not depart until midnight, with no where to...More
Everything in Papeete is expensive - mostly well overpriced - especially accomodation. Anywhere else this would be rated three and a half stars. We had executive suite, quite large and roomy, on top floor with good views over the harbour. Room was a little tired,...More
We stayed here for two nights after leaving Moorea. Hotel is nice...clean, comfortable and the hotel staff were all very friendly. As others have mentioned, the hallways are extremely dark...almost pitch black but for small blue LEDs illuminating the room doors. Otherwise, though a nice...More
Nice size room, awful area. No WIFI in the room. Fridge in room not working, non of them do. Ice machines on alternate floors don’t work. Aircon in room is on but does not cool the room so we moved bed as much as possible...More
I know some things can’t be helped but when you book a room with one large bed and get allocated two single beds, it’s a bit of a let down and not made any easier by the reception staff who just give a Gallic shrug...More

Hi Adrew. I would agree with above. In Papeete this hotel is probably the best of a lousy lot. Hotel is neat and tidy, but rather dim and tired, and grossly overpriced. If you can afford it go to Moarea and stay at one of the better resorts. Well worth the value. Hotels in Papeete are generally quite poor, as is the town. Business class on Air Tahiti Nui is much cheaper if you book through another airline - we booked thru Qantas (who have a flight sharing deal with ATN) and got the fare for about half the price offered direct by ATN. Service in business class is very good, food is excellent (big serves, excellent food), but the plane we flew on was a bit aged and tired.
