Loved this little gem. Great location, you can walk right onto the city walking path and just start your adventure. Our room was big with all antique furniture, clean, nice bathroom, comfy beds. The staff was super helpful, spoke pretty good English, helped us make some great

The hotel is smart and its location excellent. Not too many rooms and given its central location it was quiet and so easy to go to local restaurants and do the sight seeing. Staff very helpful and available 24/7.

Situated in the Old City quarter of Montevideo, this is the perfect place to stay. Non of the ultra modern feel of the more impersonal hotels, this has its own unique identity. Rooms are identified by the name of notable Argentinians, and are comfortable and with all usual

This is a fabulous hotel at a central location that is very close to both to the center of the city as well as the harbor and other places. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and their breakfast was good. Their front desk workers were very helpful.

Dear Timothy, good morning from Montevideo! Our hotel offers a very good breakfast which selects some of the most delicious home-made delicatenesses, however, we have lots of good recommendations for guests to enjoy the taste of the Old Quarter, and most of these are only five-minutes walk! If you need further information about our property, you can send us an e-mail, or chat with us through our website, Best regards, Matías Bastarreix

Hi there, There is no formal bar. There is an honor system bar where you can make your own drink. I had breakfast there for two consecutive mornings but didn't have anything else. I do believe they can whip something up for you. Hope this helps.

We took UBER cars all over South America including all over Montevideo. Not only were they extremely reasonable and safe, we enjoyed meeting the drivers who were normal people looking to make extra money. Not too many spoke English but a little polite Spanish can get you pretty far.
