Great service, from the crew from all shifts. They were more than willing help our incidental needs, including arranging for transportation , printing documents related to our international travel, among many others. Highly recommended lodging spot at Cusco.

Hotel's Favorite
Has to be one of the best full service hotels in the Cusco region. Amazing views from the lobby, the lounge downstairs and from both rooms we had during our week stay. Many parts of the town are within 15 minute walk, including the market and several big churches. Service was amazing from the front desk check in and check out to the restaurant hosts, cooks and wait staff. The staff truly went over and above as I had altitude sickness from a hike up to 14k’ one day and could not shake a massive headache. My wife called the front desk at 4am and the bellman immediately brought Oxygen to my room to administer for 10 minutes, which helped tremendously. They also followed up with an oxygen saturation sensor and several calls to make sure I was doing ok. Food at the restaurant was very good quality also.

Morning staff is horrible. Has attitude like she hates her job. Asked her to print a page for me which should be right away, instead she goes help someone else when I was first . I sit there for 10-15 minutes with no updates and no printed paper. Maybe next time you should be more attentive to your guest.

I arrived mid-afternoon in a taxi after a flight from Lima. The 25 minute drive was through lots of construction and i was amazed at how the town had grown up right around the perimeter of the airport with 2-3 story buildings. If you are squeamish, get an aisle seat. Check-in was easy and efficient, all the staff spoke English on the property. As a Diamond member I had made 3 separate one night reservations as I wasn't 100% as to my travel when booking. I kept all three nights and without asking I had been upgraded to a one bedroom suite. I was shocked, I had no idea that Hilton Garden Inns even had one bedroom suites. I sipped Coca tea during the process. My luggage was brought down by the bellman at my request, most folks I would see would not avail themselves of this service. I was happy for the help and wanted to save all my acclimation to altitude strength for my walk to the old center of Cusco. My Suite was quite nice. No doors separated the entrance, living room, bedroom and bathroom area, there was a door for the toilet and shower in case someone were to be in the closet area or using the full length mirror. But there was also clear separation between the rooms. The bedroom area also had an upholstered chair with an ottoman by a window that opened with a view of tiled roofs cascading down the hillside. My room was quiet, clean, and the bed was Hilton all the way. Linens and towels were of Hilton Garden Quality or better, lower quality anywhere on the planet I would consider below standard. A mini fridge was in the bar/coffee area. The bathroom was tiled. The hotel is on the edge of the old center of Cusco and a 12 minute walk downhill gets you to the center square, shops, restaurants, and the important buildings and squares. It's a 10 Solas ride back up in any cab, you could probably negotiate down too 8 or 9, but why? Before I left for town I asked the front desk to try to reach my travel agent for my Machu Pichu Tour. They hadn't replied and I had followed all the Expedia confirmation instructions. I received a call later that night that they weren't operating and the tour should never have been booked. The next morning I explained my problem to the front desk and they made 2 calls. After I had breakfast a tour operator had come over and I purchased a private tour of Machu Pichu, train and bus tickets, the whole thing, and for less! I am sure this would not have been possible in pre-Covid, but i state this to show the extent to which the front desk, and really all staff were always attentive, caring, professional, and preventing or solving so guests could have better stays. The level of service here was above and beyond Hilton branded properties. I will now look at Hilton Garden in Asia and Europe to see what is delivered in those areas. I may even start considering them more in the US. The 3rd floor (you enter on the top, 5th floor) is where you will find the bar and restaurant. There are outdoor spaces here as well, but hey were not set up when I was there. These are also event spaces for large meals or an open bar type situation. Daily breakfast was included for me, I also availed myself of the bar one evening (skip the pizzas, enjoy the drinks) and the restaurant for lunch, Breakfast is made tp order eggs, eggs, pancakes, sausages, meats and cheeses, breads and sweets, juices, fruits, yoghurt, etc. I enjoyed the Peruvian meat and vegetable selections and fried eggs to order. The passion fruits are the best here, get your fill. Lunch at the restaurant was a real surprise. I was expecting something mundane and semi-fabricated after the pizza from the bar. But what I got was freshly prepared ingredients cooked very well and full of flavor. I would happily have eaten here again. Dishes were large, even the appetizers. One has to mention the staff at the hotel, from the men managing the front door and baggage to the crew manning the front desk, wait staff and housekeeping, everyone says hello with genuine conviction and a true smile. When I arrived I asked the front desk to contact my local travel agent who was responsible for my trip to Machu Pichu. I had followed Expedia instructions but never heard back from them and they were overdue. That evening I learned they were no operating. In Cusco to go to Machu Pichu and no train, bus or park ticket. I doubt this could have happened in pre-Covid times, but the next morning after explaining my predicament the lady at the front desk made two calls. A travel agent was en route and would be able to get a package for me together so that I may visit Machu Pichu as planned. I went to breakfast and afterward ended up with a better package for less and had my very own licensed Machu Pichu guide to grill with questions and learn as much as possible. This type of attention was provided to every guest I saw. This staff makes your stay right for you. A great culture exists at this property. I still can't believe it is a Hilton Garden Inn. If Hilton is a good option for you, this property is over delivering on the promise. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this hotel and will take a fresh look at the brand.

We started our journey around Cusco by spending 2 nights in this beautiful hotel. Extremely clean, very comfortable, great amenities, yummy and delicious food ( we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel's restaurant). Hotel's personnel is a gem! Unfortunately, the first night, we were struck with the altitude sickness. It took Front Desk only 5 minutes to send us a specially trained person with oxygen tank to our room to ease our symptoms - this helped greatly. It was very impressive! Absolutely, this property is a very solid choice to stay in Cusco! Thank you for the great memories!
