Stayed at the Illa's Hotel for 4 nights. What an amazing experience! Everything was perfect! Super clean hotel; very helpful staff. Conveniently located (2 min walk) from Wanchaq station where you can take the train to Machu Picchu; 15 minute walk to city center. Boris, the manager of the hotel is simply outstanding. He made sure all my needs were met, provided great suggestions of places to see, organized taxi's, even accommodated me by opening the breakfast a little earlier for me as I had an early pick up for a tour. The Buffet Breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold options, scrambled eggs, sausage, cheeses, cold cuts, pastries, fruit, yogourt, freshly squeezed juice, coffee, etc. Thank you, Boris and staff for an incredible experience! Will definitely be returning to Illa's Hotel for future travel to Cusco! Natalie from Toronto, Canada

This is so far the best and well managed hotel in Cusco. The hotel is only a minute away from the Wanchaq station where you catch the bus/train to Ollantaytambo and en route to Machu Picchu. Peru Rail and Inca Rail. The hotel is gated and you must ring the bell to get in. We were warmly welcomed by Ynette( if I am right with the name) who checked us in. She prepared us tea with coca leaves to help with the high altitude. She carried our bags all the way to the 3rd floor. Our room overlooked a well kept garden. Sheets were super white, very clean bathroom, shower and big towels. The room is immaculate. It has a luggage rack and keyway to hang clothes. A desk and a chair. We did not watch TV as we are exhausted from enjoying the sites of Cusco.Their breakfast is good and consisted of eggs, sausage, yogurt, freshly squeezed fruit juice, pastries, bread, fruit and coffee/tea. Same staff you checked us was the breakfast room and also clean rooms. Wow! Reminds me of Siomara, my head housekeeper, who does everything in the hotel I manage. We also met Boris and Jose the brothers and owners. They were so helpful with all our needs (arranged our cab back to the airport, directions to Peru Rail office, etc.) These brothers knows how to manage a hotel. They were caring and very professional. Kudos for a job well done. I will definitely recommended your hotel to all my friends and family who wishes to travel to Cusco. Thank you for accommodating us.

My girlfriend and i stayed at Illas Inn for four days and we had a great experience. The personel of the hotel is very kind and attentive to your needs, they know very well the whereabouts and give you precise guidance at your request. The place is very clean, the rooms have great size and are very cozy, the beds are soft as the pillows and the blankets are perfect for Cuscos wheather. They also have a restaurant where you can have breakfast and have access to a beutiful backyard very green and confortable where you can have a beer and enjoy the afternoon. The location is great, at night the place is very quiet so you can have a great rest, is very near to many turístic places as the Sol Avenue and the main square, Cusco is small so you can walk around very easy, you can also walk to the Wanchaqs traditional market wich is a couple of minutes away and enjoy a great juice with local fruits. The overall rating is excelent i very much recomend this place you get real value for what you pay!!

I arrived in Peru and went on to stay at this place for 3 days to get myself acclimatized for my 2 week travel adventure that included in order: Cusco, an overnight stay at Natura Viva Skylodges, and a 2 day G Adventures hosted trip to visit Ollayantambo and Machu Picchu. My 3 nights at Illa's Inn Hotel and morning buffet breakfasts gave me a chance to comfortably rest after my daily walks down to the old city's Plaza de Amas and all of the surrounding restaurants with the various local cuisines for my dinners. Thanks to Boris Silva, Hotel Illa's Inn Manager, his brother and support staff, I felt well taken care of with all my questions answered and my stay was made comfortable as I met other travelers and exchanged pleasantries and information during my short visit.

I stayed here for the beginning of my Machupicchu Adventure Vacation for the first 3 days to get myself acclimatized to the elevation (3400 m) before continuing my trip. I used the time to walk from the inn (20 minutes) down Av de Sol to the Plaza de Amas (significant because it is where the Spanish proclaimed their conquest of the Incan empire). The Plaza is flanked by 2 RC churches and all sorts of shops and restaurants where you can try different Peruvian favorites. My first night I ate light and had alpaca shish kabob at one of the restaurants. The illas inn hotel is family-owned and offers peace and quietude after a day's outing. It is clean, quiet and best suited for the traveler that doesn't require pampering and offers a buffet breakfast to get you started on your day's explore for what is offered in the area: walking tours, bus tours, culinary experiences, etc. The ILLA'S INN HOTEL is located in the historical city centre of Cusco, offering you a pleasant and comfortable stay including all services and amenities to make your stay a pleasant and unforgettable experience.

Great hotel to stay, blew my expectations. I stayed in room 207,overlooking the patio. So cozy and clean place to stay, excellent location about 10 minutes to Plaza de armas. They have a cute patio where you can unwind after a tour, have a beer and a cigarette, which I did every night. Incredible staff and customer service. I would like to thank Boris and Jose Luis, the owners, they made me feel at home. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. Thank you guys!! In this place you are not just a number, you feel like family. The 2 Johanas, the house keepers are AMAZING, really friendly and polite. If you havent stayed here I seriously recommend illas inn, dont waste your time looking elsewhere. Its a hidden gem. I will be coming back in December, and I will definitely stay here again. AMAZING job guys, keep it up and thank you very much!!

Good hotel with large rooms and amazing beds which are so comfy. The staff are very helpful and always on hand with information, quick laundry. The breakfast is good with cereals, sandwiches or hot eggs and sausages, juices and coffee. We found the showers weren’t that hot which wasn’t great after the Inca trail or the cool Cusco nights. We tried leaving the shower on for a while and only once was it truly hot. Warm is call it. 15 minutes walk to square so in a good location. WiFi wasn’t great but haven’t found any in Peru which work well for streaming etc so this isn’t the hotels fault probably!!
