The hotel shows a rating of 9.1 however this was far from the experience for our group of 10, Some of the rooms do not have an external window and are very hot, airless and oppressive. The walls are very thin and you can hear people/ tv in the room next door. I would not recommend staying here, but if you do ensure you get a room with an external window.

This hotel is in a good location near the city center and main attractions. The interior looks like an Embassy Suites. A large court yard in the middle. Issue I had was no air conditioning? The buffet breakfast was ok. If you are in an inside room and open a window, very noisy.

Our experience with the staff (specially the restaurant) was just super positive. Very friendly, eager to help and they made sure we enjoyed all our meals. Special kudos to John Garcia for going out of his way to make our experience so positive. He is super friendly and all around a nice guy. Keep up the good work John.

Tommy at the bar/restaurant was very accommodating, eager to serve us, always in a timely fashion. After taking day tours, he was a friendly face to come back to at our designated hotel. The concierge had an umbrella that we were able to borrow. Great place.

After a long transfer booked in. Great service and decided to dine at the in house restaurant. Lovely layout and outstanding service and attention from Brayan our waiter. He was charming, polite attentive and gave a recommendation on a dessert (chocolate fondant) that was terrific.

Stayed for 2x nights at the Xima, separated with a night in Machu Picchu- they have a very organized set up at the Xima to store your large backpack while you go to MP with a day/overnight pack. You can trust them to look after your gear, and recollect when you come back from MP. Nice clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Coca tea station in the lobby for the altitude, and coca tea in the rooms also. Excellent, lavish even, breakfast each morning from 05h30, and they do a decent room service cheeseburger also. Good wifi, excellent location near all sites/transport requirements.

We stayed twice at this hotel during our vacation. Our experience was good, but the restaurant's employees were exceptional: kind, cooperative, and charmed. Don Abelardo was a very knowledgeable Peruvian person. I will returned to this hotel in Cusco.
