This was for sure the best staff ever! The hotel is newly renovated and is close to Plaza de Armas. Taxi only cost 5 soles (about $2.00 dollars). The breakfast buffet was excellent too! Isn't the most beautiful neighborhood but we always feel safe around. Thanks to Ileana and the rest of the staff to help us with all the things we need during our stay! You guys were excellent!!!

We arrived very late at night and were brought in to get debriefed by our tour guide for the next day. The night hostess was super nice and friendly and we loved being greeted by her and shown to our room. We woke up early and went to Machu Picchu in the morning and got completely soaked (it was the end of rainy season in early May). We returned and asked if we could get into a room for a couple of hours to dry our things and were not-so-politely declined. The day hostess was much less friendly... We asked if there was a half-day rate we could get a room for and she seemingly made up a number to charge us. We were able to get into a room for a couple of hours for $40 but it was not easy negotiation. Depending on who the hostess is you'll have a good stay.

Our sleep was a bit troubled as there were sounds that seemed to be kids screaming down the hall almost all night and construction may have been on-going just down the road. The walls seemed to be very thin which made every noise on our floor audible. However, for the price and location, it was worth it to stay there.

This a bare bones hotel, situated on a commercial street. The included bkfst was minimal. There isn’t even a cup in bathroom.
Room though small was v clean. Shower was fine with plenty of hot water. Bed was fine. To get to restaurants and the main plaza was easy costing less then$2.00US. Front desk staff was what made the stay OK.
This hotel was chosen by the tour operator and is the perfect example of you get what you pay for.

Quite honestly there aren’t really any great hotels in Aguas Calientes but you can’t really visit Machu Picchu without spending at least one night here. Cool little town. The hotel was in a great location with its proximity to the train station we came in on and it’s right on the road where you can start to hike up to Machu Picchu (if you choose to hike instead of take the bus). Not a nice hotel but it was a place to get some sleep. WiFi didn’t work in the rooms either.

We were on a tour and this is the hotel they put us in. The positive of this hotel is the staff was friendly The hotel is located in the commercial area where you can parts for your car, anything you need for your house, etc. The room was small and had bare amenities . There was nothing around the hotel and you had to take a cab to go anywhere. Breakfast was horrible and never started on time. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Hard time judging this hotel. I would up giving it an "average" rating because while the hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly, there are some heavy drawbacks that would make me consider staying somewhere else.

First, the positive is that the hotel and rooms were very clean. No complaints there. Water in shower was good temp and pressure. Staff was very friendly.

The negatives are that the location of the hotel is kind of weird. It's in an industrial area with really not much around other than tire shops. I happened to find a couple of very small almost take out restaurants nearby, but if you don't have a car, be prepared to walk. I walked it alone at night and had no issues, so it's not a bad area..just "unpleasant" to a visitor. Second negative is the breakfast...it was pretty bad. Very basic. Eggs tasted very dry. Last negative is the lobby could use a re-model. It's just not very appealing at all.

For a short stay where you are going to be out most of the day and only using the hotel to sleep, it's fine. Just don't expect much. If you are coming in from out of town (like on a tour), pay the extra money and stay closer to the historical area.

This hotel is so far from the center,
About 30 min to work , the breakfast is so simple and very expensive ☹️
And the room is very small and nosy
When we reserved, all taxes were included and nothing to add. When we checked out, they asked for 8% of service charges!! We tried to explain, but they don’t speak English! We payed without understanding!!

Stayed as 2 friends in a twin room on the third floor, which was very clean, the sheets were changed daily we think, and clean towels provided. Breakfast was a selection of meats and cheeses, bread for toast, jam, butter, honey and olives, fresh juices, coffee tea and cereals, as well as scrambled eggs and sausages (more like frankfurtes).
The service was good, with friendly reception staff, and they agreed to keep some bags for us for a couple of days while we went to ollantaytambo!
The one issue we had was ordering from.room service, where our interpretation of a club sandwich massively differed from ours, making it hard to order with allergies.
Bear in mind you will have to pay charges for taxes when you arrive.
Would stay again if needing to be in that area, but for general tourists would prefer somewhere different. Thanks.

What a great experience. Such a caring and accommodating staff, awesome breakfast and a perfect, clean room. The staff was so willing to help plan day trips for my boyfriend and I. We felt very comfortable here and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Cusco.
