This delightful monastery is acomfortable hotel with three floral gardens and a variety of bedrooms with magnificent views. Everyone at the hotel was nice. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choice. The location is convenient, but very busy. Right across the street from San Pedro market which is a pro and con. This is the only hotel we stayed at that didn't provide free water in the room. If you're staying here there's a grocery store across the street which has the best prices for water. We did utilize their laundry service, charged a few soles per individual piece you wanted laundered. The biggest negative was the shower. It had to run forever to get even luke warm, wouldn't stay here again as a result.

Well priced hotel in a great location next to San Pedro Monastery and opposite the market. Around a 5 minute walk down one long road to the Plaza De Armas and touristic areas. External tours had no issue finding the address and the main road made it convenient for them to park up. WiFi worked fine throughout the entire hotel and there was a bedside lamp that could be unplugged to have a bedside plug available if needed. The grounds were beautiful and staff very friendly and welcoming. Around a 20 minutes drive to the airport depending on traffic. Hotel had a luggage room to store my luggage free of charge when I checked out as my flight was late in the evening. The door of the room didn't seal properly (but did close and lock, there was just a gap at the bottom of the door). As a result I was woke up several times to people coming and going across the hardwood floor hallway, particularly early in the morning when people were going to daytrips or rolling their luggage across it.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating there was absolutely nothing we were left wanting for. We arrived in Cusco at 6AM and were allowed to check in early and catch up on some much needed sleep. On the four days we spent hiking the Inca Trail we were allowed to store our luggage and returned from the hike to everything exactly as we left it. The dining room and bar are conveniently located and offer very good food, particularly the continental breakfast and evening happy hour. 10/10!

Room Tip:Â Great place to stay if touring with Alpaca Expedition. Central to downtown and many restaurants.

The location is great and the hotel is lovely, but the bed is as hard as a rock and unfortunately, we had a street facing room so lots of car noise, people noise, dogs barking, etc. late into the night. The front desk staff were friendly though and the breakfast was nice! A softer bed and a courtyard facing room would have me writing a 5 star review!

This was absolutely the best hotel we could have stayed at. It is an old monastery I am pretty sure which made it very interesting and boutique. The gardeners there are amazing and filled the property with beauty. Breakfast was wonderful and a breakfast box was made up without us asking one day. The cleaning staff did a very thorough job in our room. Front desk staff knew English. Good coordination between front desk and tour companies who came to pick us up. Laundry service was prompt. There is also someone who will come to offer massage services from what I saw. Best of all, the location could not be beat!! It was PERFECT!

Excellent experience and close to San Pedro Market and Historic District! Rooms were clean, dining was good, excellent service and beautiful courtyards! Check in was easy. The hotel held our luggage while we hiked the Inca Trail and retrieval was easy.

We had a large room for our family vacation. The property is well maintained and rooms are kept clean (including the hallways and dining areas). The location is across from the large outdoor market and street food - within walking distance of the square and museums.

The outside of the structure is non-descript. Once one enters it’s a different world. The staff greeted us in monk garb and the lobby is like a church. Choral music is piped in and the experience is of one stepping back in time. The courtyard in the center of the hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed drinks and dinner there in the evening (there were fires in the fire pits to add to the ambiance. Ask for a room facing a courtyard.
Breakfasts were plentiful and Gary with good selections. This hotel experience was one of the high points of our trip to South America!

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few days at the end of our 3.5 week in Peru. It is a great place to stay. It was right next to San Pedro market and Peru Rail station, and within a few minutes walk of Plaza Des Armes The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was the best one we experienced in Peru. I found it pretty quiet, as we were in the central courtyard. The restaurant was very good too. Breakfast was included in the price and it was an excellent buffet. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights and the food was very good. However, I did have better Pisco Sours elsewhere. Staff were great and very helpful. The standards were great. I would highly recommend this place to stay if you are not on a tight budget.

Imagine a monastery converted to a hotel, and the hotel delivers. Beautiful gardens, Spanish details of colonial architecture. Fantastic location next to the huge San Pedro Mercado for last minute tourist gifts, but one of the best features is everything is in walking distance. The hotel also offers an excellent restaurant, beautiful buffet breakfast, and a spa with message services you won't want to miss. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodated all our questions.

"Our room facing outward with a window over the road was a bit noisy. Even so, I did like looking out on the street. The inward facing courtyard room we got later was quiet. "
