Great location, food and service. Had room service delivered - ceaser salad and this was excellent. Ate in the restaurant and had prawn salad and beef tenderloin. Both were delicious. Our waitress Ana was brilliant and made the meal even better. Thanks

This was our 4th hotel of a 2 week trip (and 3rd Casa Andina Premium) Location was great, about a mile from main square with restaurants and tourist areas. This hotel is 2 levels with no elevator. With the altitude of Cusco, walking up to 2nd floor was a chore. The building is from the 17th century, rooms are very small and built around courtyards, so need to keep curtains closed. No closets, just racks and shelves. OK for a couple nights stay. Nice breakfast buffet with made to order eggs.

Amazing hotel, historic architecture and superb staff. John is the best! Highly recommend this hotel no matter why you find yourself in Cusco. Stop here to relax and acclimatize before hiking Machu Picchu, you will never regret it. Close to shopping and historic sites alike.

Beautiful hotel in the historic center. Friendly and professional staff. Spacious room, comfortable beds. Convenient, quiet, wonderful breakfast. They even offered oxygen if needed on your first day at altitute. Our only shortcoming was the time it took for the shower to get hot. We would definitely stay there again.

We only stayed for one night since our JetStar flight back to Lima was cancelled at the last minute. So we decided to stay closer to the Plaza de Armas and I really liked the Superior King room located on 2nd floor, it was spacious, comfortable, and nice. The staff were all very nice and professional. My only complaint was the buffet breakfast. Firstable the fruit juices seemed to be watered down. Then the coffee machine was broken so there was a kind of coffee served from a thermos but then somebody from the staff got me a coffee from a machine that was working somewhere else maybe the bar. The variety of food for breakfast was not to my taste. I think they should try to improve the quality of the buffet. Otherwise everything else was fine. The location of the hotel was good.

Let's start with the good. The staff is great. Many speak excellent English, they are friendly and helpful. The rooms are decent size and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is pretty good with an omelette station. The not so good. Do not stay on the first floor. All the rooms face a courtyard that is enclosed in glass. Thosake the hallways big amplifiers. Any activity in the hallways seems like they are in the room. And people are coming and going early and late. If you are going to be staying more than a day or two there is no place to put away your clothes. The bathroom is decent size with a walk in shower the onl issue I had was the shower only had a rain shower head.

The Casa Andina Premium is a nice hotel at walking distance from a number of sights. The rooms inside the old colonial building are spread across various floors and three large patios. To reach our suite we had to take a bit of a maze-like passage - several turns, several flights of stairs. But the suite was well worth the effort - quiet, spacious with an elegant design. Whenever you come back from excursions or shopping make a stop at the lounge where you can help yourself to some muña or coca tea. The buffet breakfast is available from 5 am for all those having to leave for an early trip. We had dinner at the Alma Restaurant on three evenings (regrettably it had been too chilly for the terrace) and tried all sorts of dishes: ceviche, grilled trout, tuna tataki, red criolla soup, rolled chicken with rice Estilo Norteña, Lomo Saltado, Chuletas de Cerdo Chifa style... All of these - nicely arranged and tasty - and accompanied by Pisco Sour and a bottle of Intipalka made a good meal. We also did some last-minute shopping at the on-site SolAlpaca tienda. Not bad when you are looking for a top quality souvenir... Regrettably I cannot give five points as the King bed mattress in our first suite was extremely wobbly. I did not complain as I did not want to change rooms for the following two nights. And I know that they can do better as we returned to the hotel for another night in between Sacred Valley and Lake Titicaca, and the bed in that other suite was absolutely fine. But my evaluation also reflects my first experience, and as Casa Andina Premium consider themselves a 5-star hotel (in my view it is a top 4-star hotel favoured by groups) I am a little "restrictive".
