Nestled in the historic heart of Cusco, Casa Andina Standard Cusco Catedral garners praise for its enviable location near the main square. Guests commend the inviting atmosphere and comfortable rooms, although the nearby nightlife can sometimes infringe on the tranquility.
The hotel's cleanliness and attentive service are often highlighted, with special mention to the provision of oxygen to help with altitude. While the value proposition and breakfast variety are well-received, experiences can differ, and a note of caution is advised regarding personal items.

Detailed Reviews
The whole staff was very friendly and helpful as we needed to switch rooms. Breakfast is always fresh and Margot has served us with attention and a smile on her face. Mabely and Manuel were also flawless.
Thalia and Kevin from the front desk helped us in everything we needed and didn’t hesitate in going an extra mile to do their best.
The rooms are very different from one another so I suggest future guests double check if the windows face out and ask for a double check in the vacuuming if you’re staying at a carpeted room.

Room Tip: Bring ear muffs because you’ll be at the heart of the city. It’s well located but noisy.

This was a comfortable stay inside a hotel with a modern look. Had a restaurant inside with free breakfast which was great. They also helped me carry and hold my bags as well as order the most inexpensive taxi services when needed.

The hotel is very well located, just steps from the main square, and in front of a mini market and close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are large and soft, and the bathroom has everything you need, plus the shower has very good water pressure. Very good option taking into account the service and price.

Very spacious and clean airy rooms with balcony
You couldn't hear the high street music that has anti-noise windows
The staff is very attentive and the location of the hotel is super focused on quick access to restaurants.

I love this Hotel. I thought that I paid for a room for two people, but I did not although I did select the option. When we arrived we were greeted by Kevin, he was such a delight! He advised us to walk around the plaza when we had a chance so that we can get used to the altitude, he was right. He was very caring and even advised us where to go for dinner. The first room we got was very simple, but when Kevin advised us of the changes that were going to incur, he proceeded with giving us a very nice, much bigger, balcony room. I did not mind paying the extra cost, the way that he spoke to us and the customer service he gave was exceptional! When the time to check out, we still had a few hours to spend, and we decided to go around the city, but with the bags? This is when Kevin came to the rescue, AGAIN, he helped us by storing our bags. We came back to the hotel and made our way to the airport. I was simply beyond satisfied with everything. NOT to mention that the walls on the left when entering are real, they were once part of a religious temple of the Inca. I love it. I just wish that tourists were more generous to people like Kevin, especially when it comes to tips, I saw that many said thank you and no monetary "thank you's".

Lacated right by Plaza de Armas in Cusco, the lacation cant be more ideal for those wont want to experience Cusco city. We stayed there two nights. The first night we were unfortunate to get a room beside someone that talked loudly all night, and the sound carried well so we had trouble sleeping. When we asked for a more quiet room, the staff was more than helpful. We got a very nice and quiet room. They also were very helpful with other things, like arranged for glutenfree bread and gave us the clothes that we forgot in our first room. I would like to thank the staff that attended us: Karel, Flor, and especially the two guys Daniel and Kevin for making our stay a pleasant one. We are greatful for all your help and attention!

In this very well located hotel, we find what we have the right to expect in this fairly high price range, namely an impeccable room, a beautiful bathroom and a varied breakfast.
Besides that, the hotel is really very noisy, inside but even more so from the outside, especially if you have a room facing the street.
The curtains are just there for decoration and don't hide much.
And finally, after two weeks in Peru, this is the first time that a hotel charges for bottles of mineral water. Not very classy for a hotel that aims to be a bit upscale.

We accessed the breakfast buffet and it was very rich, varied and hygienic. With possibility of breakfast, lunch and salads. The service was very good the same, they approached on more than one occasion to ask if anything else was needed or if something was missing.

Excellent location very close to the main square in Cusco. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Instant hot water in walk-in shower.
Self service breakfast includes detox beetroot and parsley. Staff very attentive at breakfast. Only drawback is that there isn’t a lift.

Good service. Friendly staff. Delicious and varied breakfast. All impeccable rooms have a stove to maintain an adequate temperature since here in Cusco the climate is very cold. There is hot water in the pipes and in the shower.
