Fabulous location to the main part of town, restaurant, churches and museums. The service is fabulous with clean and comfortable rooms. Our room had a quaint balcony which let in light and fresh air. Breakfast has a large range of choices which included coco tea for the altitude. Highly recommend for the price
I had to stay in Cusco for two nights extra to my planned holiday because of the closure at Lima airport. I was feeling pretty down and disappointed because I was ready to go home. I checked into the Casa Andina and was given 10/10 customer service by Jocelin, Eliana, Adolfo, Manuel, and Margot. They made me feel welcome and at home. There was nothing that was too much to ask them to sort out. They helped me with organising taxis, with breakfast service, finding an ATM. It was a very comfortable stay. Many thanks to Jocelin, Eliana, Adolfo, Manuel, and Margot for making me feel welcome and for helping me during my stay. 10/10 customer service.
The whole staff was very friendly and helpful as we needed to switch rooms. Breakfast is always fresh and Margot has served us with attention and a smile on her face. Mabely and Manuel were also flawless. Thalia and Kevin from the front desk helped us in everything we needed and didn’t hesitate in going an extra mile to do their best. The rooms are very different from one another so I suggest future guests double check if the windows face out and ask for a double check in the vacuuming if you’re staying at a carpeted room.
The room was clean, comfortable, shower was fantastic. Front desk staff was professional, kind and went the extra mile to make you feel welcome and confortable. My congratulations to Karel and Adolfo for a wonderful job and for making our stay a great one. Skip breakfast if you can. Very average, but ok if you want to fill your stomach.
Lacated right by Plaza de Armas in Cusco, the lacation cant be more ideal for those wont want to experience Cusco city. We stayed there two nights. The first night we were unfortunate to get a room beside someone that talked loudly all night, and the sound carried well so we had trouble sleeping. When we asked for a more quiet room, the staff was more than helpful. We got a very nice and quiet room. They also were very helpful with other things, like arranged for glutenfree bread and gave us the clothes that we forgot in our first room. I would like to thank the staff that attended us: Karel, Flor, and especially the two guys Daniel and Kevin for making our stay a pleasant one. We are greatful for all your help and attention!
Clean, safe, and convenient location in the historic city center of beautiful Cusco. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast included cereal & toast staples along with local specialties like tamales and coca tea.
Room was comfortable , clean, warm shower, stairs, no elevator. Coca leaves + hot water in the lobby.:-) breakfast provided Hot coffee, Tea. There are a ton of very good restaurants, even Starbucks nearby. McDonalds if your still into US food. This place is very well located for downtown Cusco. You'll enjoy your stay, not much walking to see the sights. Traffic was terrible, but we were there during 'winter solstice celebration'. They take off work and put on a celebration! Bands, religious gatherings, crowds. Traffic stops. No disruptions, everyone friendly having a good time.
Kevin from casa andina standard catedral front desk (pm shift)is very accommodating and is readily available with all our needs. Has good communication skills. He does not hesitate to help us in everything. Approachable and very friendly! He is amazing!
I love this Hotel. I thought that I paid for a room for two people, but I did not although I did select the option. When we arrived we were greeted by Kevin, he was such a delight! He advised us to walk around the plaza when we had a chance so that we can get used to the altitude, he was right. He was very caring and even advised us where to go for dinner. The first room we got was very simple, but when Kevin advised us of the changes that were going to incur, he proceeded with giving us a very nice, much bigger, balcony room. I did not mind paying the extra cost, the way that he spoke to us and the customer service he gave was exceptional! When the time to check out, we still had a few hours to spend, and we decided to go around the city, but with the bags? This is when Kevin came to the rescue, AGAIN, he helped us by storing our bags. We came back to the hotel and made our way to the airport. I was simply beyond satisfied with everything. NOT to mention that the walls on the left when entering are real, they were once part of a religious temple of the Inca. I love it. I just wish that tourists were more generous to people like Kevin, especially when it comes to tips, I saw that many said thank you and no monetary "thank you's".…
Stayed in Casa Andina Catedral - Cusco Hotel for around 5 days, the main objective of my trip was rest and recharge for the new year and I can confirm that it was achieved. The hotel service was A1, from the cleanness, accommodations to the staff, always taking care of you and that you’re having a good time, like Margot who everyday helped me with the breakfast and looking after everyone had an excellent first meal to start the day. The location of the hotel is perfect, so close to the main square and to coffee shops, restaurants, little stores. Had the best time during this visit to one of my favorite cities in Peru - every time I discover something new
