The location of this hotel is amazing! It is two blocks from the plaza de armas, and in easy walking distance to San Blas.
The rooms are small (typical for Peru) and outdated, but they do have a decent size flat screen tv in each room. The water pressure is essentially nonexistent which was a problem for me because I have long, very thick hair.
Breakfast was decent.
Overall, service was good, but I took off a star because there was a miscommunication when we arrived. Our bags had been taken from Ollantaytambo to this hotel by our tour company while we went to Machu Picchu. When we arrived at the hotel, we told them that we needed our bags. They told us they didn't have them. One member of our group stayed in the lobby while we were taken to our rooms and after a few phone calls they found them.
Overall a good experience, the location is by far the best of any hotel we saw while walking around.

This hotel was the most expensive for our trip to Peru but it was well worth it (3-star). Upon arrival, we started off well as we were welcomed with some coca tea to help with the altitude and vouchers for 2 free pisco sours to be used later at our leisure. The location was superb as it was 1 block down from Museo de Santa Catalina, with their sister tourist office just down the street. They provide free airport pickup and drop off, with extra blankets and a heater for those cold Andean nights, plus other modern amenities such as hairdryer and safe deposit box. The western style buffet breakfasts is also a nice addition. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous in every respect.

I have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Peru and stayed here for 4 nights. I found it a very pleasant place to stay with no complaints at all. Great location with everything you want within walking distance.Internet cafe`s,shops, restaurants and bars all on the same street with many more in Playa del Armes the main square which is 5 mins walk from the front door. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are clean and comfortable, although front rooms can be a little noisy with the traffic, rooms at the back have fantastic views of Cusco and The Andes. The staff are very pleasant and friendly and most speak very good English. The food is great and don`t miss breakfast you won`t have to eat again for the rest of the day. I stayed in 4 hotels whilst in Peru and this was my favourite,if I ever return to Peru and Cusco in particular I would make this hotel the first on my list to stay.

We stayed at the hotel twice, on both ends of our trip to the Sacred Valley. Our first room was an interior one opening to the light court - just ok, lots of noise from the lobby. The second room opening to the outside with views of the city and mountains was nicer. Staff was not especially friendly. Breakfast was good and included coca tea to help with the altitude. The location just 2 blocks from the plaza is great, and some of the best restaurants are even closer

Fab location. Very nice hotel. Large room. Cusco is a beautiful city and it was nice to collapse into a huge bed after a busy day.
This was probably one of the best hotels we stayed at during at trip to Peru.

Wow. What a beautiful hotel. We somehow got a room on the third floor which had a fire place in It and the bathroom had a really nice spa bath. It was a very cosy, relaxing room.
The foyer area is substantial with room to sit and relax.
The restaurant caters for all tastes and is open at 0445 in the morning which is great for early starts.
Location is excellent, being close to Plaza de armas which is a must do in Cusco.
The only downside was the constant traffic noise which included the honking of car horns all night. I don't know if this would have improved if we had got a room as far from the street as possible but it would be something we would ask for next time.

I stayed here with my study abroad group for a few days in May and absolutely loved it! The breakfast was perfect and complimentary. The rooms are very spacious, and the staff was very accommodating to put up with our group. They even stored our luggage for us while we went to Machu Picchu.

I was relocated here as the hotel I had booked was being renovated (I didn't find out this information until I arrived with my suitcase from the airport!). The first room they offered me was dreadful - dark and dingy with no window, but when I asked for a room with a balcony (as I'd booked at the other hotel) they immediately showed me to a better room which had a window and balcony. Having said that, the room was still quite small, tired and a bit dark. It was also not well sound-proofed and there was constant traffic noise throughout the night and early morning, and was rather cold - though an electric heater was supplied.

Staff here are very pleasant and helpful, but the breakfast was not good at all and most days I went elsewhere for my breakfast.

We stayed here as part of our tour in July 2016.

The weather was perfect comparable to spring in Florida.

My husband had an issue with the altitude while i was fine, but climbing up and down 3 flight of stairs with a 10 lb bag of laundry was not fun.

1 thing to note though is that 1 night when we stayed in at around dinner time as my husband wasn't feeling good a lady wanted to come in our room to hand us candies?!?! We had the do not disturb sign on the door , so i thought that was kind of odd.

Bed was very comfortable , front desk was very helpful but the honking from the cars were non stop ...

Overall i would not stay here again , i'd probably look for a place somewhere a little farther away from the main traffic and with less stairs or at least a place with elevators!

We stayed here twice on our trip. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Bathrooms are well equipped.

Many rooms are lit by internal light wells, rather than outside windows, as we have experienced elsewhere in Peru. This has an advantage of keeping the room quiet and cool, but means there is no view.

We would book again.
