One of my favorite hotels in the world. Does a beautiful job of combining history, luxury and unique local decor. The staff is always available and goes above and beyond. Carlos and Wilberth were especially helpful during our stay. The food is amazing, the location is perfect. Everything about the hotel feels special. Highly recommend. The experience is well worth the price.

If you want to truly have THE best food experience in Cusco, save up& go here! Atmosphere is 10/10- my first 10 ever as this place literally a staff member in a Monks habit cleansing the spirits with smoking sage. Wood fire set in courtyard with priceless 16th century paintings along gallery space… everything was spot on - music, lighting, smells, etc. Food- Broad menu of delights- Tasty treat started with house soup then I started w/ Carpaccio with amazing flavors and had the Lomo Saltado with Creme brûlée. Wine List- incredible and Sommelier knows his stuff so he can guide you along. Cocktails- amazing! Go just to the Bar to experience a dash of their magnificent spirit- in every sense of the word. Notes: ask for tour of chapel- not to be missed! This is a true treasure!

What a beautiful hotel. From the moment you cross the threshold we were embraced by the friendly staff and gorgeous setting. I had my best night sleep in 14 days after hiking to Machu Picchu. We were tired and wanting a little luxury after the big trek.

I am an American with a Peruvian wife and we were trying many places in the city to eat, relax and have a drink. We had no idea until we went in the Belmond monasterio how amazing it was. The bar amd fire place was so amazing, and the food was so exquisite. But what made it remarkable and recomendable is the staff. We liked it so much on Tuesday night that we returned with Chilean friends tonight. Boris and Fredy were ther both nights. To tell us the history of the hotel, show us the chapel, help take pictures but most of all recommend amazing drinks, amazing food, and we’re always in top of things. We walked in and immediately they made sure the fireplace was warm, candles were lit and up until the very end we were so full that we didn’t order desert but they brought out small bite size pieces of chocolate to end the night. We recommend all to please go to the monastery!
