Palacio Nazarenas is a beautiful hotel with stellar service. It is walking distance to all of Cusco's sights, including Sacsayhuaman if you can manage the stairs!

We stayed in a spacious junior suite with a large patio and huge bathroom. All the bedding, towels, soaps and shampoos, etc are of the finest quality. Love the heated floors in the bathroom and the robes and slippers.

We had excellent room service and enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant with great service from Elvis. Our butlers, Daniel and Omar, were incredibly helpful and attentive, even bringing an oxygen, tea, and soup for my husband who was suffering from soroche. Thanks also to Fredy at the front desk.

They arranged a taxi to bring us from the airport (40 soles) and to the train station, and helped us make dining reservations and sightseeing plans. On our way back from the Sacred Valley, they let us store our luggage and use their facilities before our 8pm flight out of Cusco, even though we were no longer guests there.

If you can make it to the spa, Lucia is incredible! The treatment rooms have views of the waterways through a window in the floor, and they make tea for you from fresh herbs on the grounds. Lucia even cut fresh rosemary to put in the steam room for me - all these special touches come together for a magical experience!

This stunning hotel and exemplary service was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a warm cup of tea, a small bouquet of flowers with our room key till we had to leave the following day we could not speak any higher of the surroundings and staff. The attention to detail was immaculate!

We stayed for a week in the Belmont Rio Sagrado Hotel so we knew about the quality of service we were going to receive but we never expected such beautiful rooms.

We had to stay 1 night because our flight was cancelled and we wished we could have stayed longe.

The rooms are beautifully decorated with every detail you can imagine (hot water bags in bed, free mini bar, face masks, toiletries, oxygen ....you name it, you get it because if there is non in the room they bring it.

The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is specially good. They don't have a buffet these days but they offer you everything there was in the buffet and bring it to the table.

Extraordinary service as you would expect in a Belmont Hotel.

I can't praise this hotel enough. We have been on Cusco many times and we have stayed in Monasterio, JW Marriot, La Casona several times and I think this and La Casona are the best hotels in different style.

We'll love to be back.

The most impressive thing was the staff we encountered each and every one was wonderful/
The rooms are very large, beautiful, and unique.
the only down side was that the restaurant was , I though overpriced, with main courses around 40 dollars that is a lot more than most others. We did have meals in Maido and Astrid whiile in Lima that cost arounb 350 dollars for us as a couple but these were the tasiting mudlitcourse meals.
Anyway if would be hard to find a better place to stay!!!

I have stayed in all of the most expensive hotels in Cusco. Nazarenas was on my checklist and I was extremely disappointed. My nephew was looked down, because a friend entered the room to utilize the restrooms. YES , I learned about the COVID restrictions, come on, I was invited to write them down for Peru since I am a Molecular Biologist. While I was hosted in this hotel I met the general manager and Mr. Scharwtz, taught that with some massages and a 60$ bottle of champagne I could eat up my very bad experience with his late night shift staff. I was screamed by a butler that my cousin was not supposed to enter the pool and make me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable in front of ALL the guest surrounding me inside the restaurant and my own family. I am very disappointed of paying over 500$ per night and being treated like trash. I truly doubt I would feel comfortable if I ever book a stay at this hotel again. I recommend the Marriot hotels in Cusco, where the staff is properly trained and KNOW how to manage particular situations.

This hotel was so luxurious with a feeling of privacy and elegance - without the big hotel feel. There are several courtyards with fountains, running water, pool, gardens and historic furniture, doors and old pews. The building has the Inca foundation, and this former nunnery that was built on top is very impressive! The decor is a mix of old and new, with many many details that will delight you. The views to the city, combined with overlooking the fabulous pool, while maintaining the old wooden balconies makes for a unique combination and view. The views are great no matter which way you face (inward or to the city)!

The food at the dining room (breakfast as well) is excellent. Fantastic service with locally cooked pastries, breads and fresh squeezed orange juice. The beef carpaccio is offered at lunch and dinner - well worth the indulgence!

The front desk and service staff were all excellent. A special thank you to David for looking after us so well. Gracias!

This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. My first impression of the hotel didn’t seem that great. From the outside it doesn’t seem that impressive. Even once you are inside you seem to be guided around numerous narrow passageways, which eventually open out onto a swimming pool. I obviously wasn’t paying attention because we got lost several times trying to find our way back to reception.

However, our room was spectacular. It was very spacious with a huge four poster bed and a separate bathroom which was as large as many hotel rooms in Europe. The room was lavishly equipped. I have stayed in many hotels that have offered the use of a bathrobe, but it is unusual to be offered a choice of silk or cotton. Likewise, many hotels provide a mini bar but I have never stayed in one that included a free mini bar with two large bottles of free spirits as well. I loved the two small furry smiling faces in the bed which turned out to be hot water bottles. It really was as if someone had thought of everything that would delight you.

The restaurant was on the other side of the swimming pool and we hardly bothered to go out from the hotel because it was so good. The food at dinner was superb and the service very impressive. Breakfast by the side of the pool was also great and was accompanied by a live harpist. By the second day we were both beginning to suffer from over eating so we decided to skip dinner in favour of a snack at the bar. This turned out to be a mistake since our “snack” was so huge we had to leave most of it.

By this time we had started to find our way around the hotel and had more opportunity to admire many of it’s features including the chapel and another internal courtyard and the Inca ruins and drainage system that the building had been built on.

I don’t know how much this hotel cost to stay at, but it was worth it.

I arrived at this hotel being a big Belmont fan, having stayed at the Miraflores in Lima and the Rio Sagrado in the Sacred Valley and both are exceptional hotels and I arrived at the Palacio Nazarenes a beautiful building with lots of history. On arrival I was speedily checked in and upgraded to a very nice room but after that it was totally downhill when it came to food and restaurants. There is only one restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner with limited menus and food generally arriving cold. But tonight was the ultimate drop in standards, we sat in the only restaurant my wife and I and the only other people in the restaurant were a table of ten, the other guests in the hotel avoided the place. There was a loud band playing, the doors to the restaurant had been left open by the waiters and the place was uncomfortably cold, but then a couple of dancers arrived doing a cabaret next to our table, after 15 minutes of this fiasco, the dancers asked the table of 10 to join then on the floor, please try and imagine the only couple in this small restaurant trying to eat their dinner amidst this pantomime. We left without finishing the dinner and went to the front desk who seemed apologetic but had no answer, we received a call from the duty manager telling us if we want a better meal tomorrow we should go to the Belmont Monastrio next door, that in itself spoke volumes. I would really advise people to stay elsewhere this is a conveyor belt for tour groups in one night and out the next

We stayed in a Studio Suite at the Palacio Nazarenas for two nights after our Machu Picchu adventure. The room had every comfort imaginable, including cute water bottles to keep the bed nice and warm when the temps got chilly at night. We enjoyed sunning ourselves and relaxing around the beautiful pool area, too. The restaurant served a very diverse breakfast buffet and our dinner there was also top notch with great service all around. We loved being able to walk and explore all of Cusco easily from the hotel. All around a wonderful hotel experience.

From coordinating transportation to check in and check out it was truly a 5 star experience! I cannot sing the praises of this hotel enough, truly. Special thanks to Giuliana for being do available for all our needs! We really enjoyed our stay here, and would 10/10 recommend. It is well worth the price tag. The location is unbeatable - just a block from the main city Square. Every restaurant and Cafe we wanted to visit was located within walking distance. The facilities were top notch; bring a bathing suit, the heated pool is so worth it!

Also the turn down service! Omg! The little Llama shaped hot water bottles they put in to warm the bed were so cute I nearly cried. It's the little things that truly make a luxury hotel and this place just nailed it; the lip balm they left during turn down service by our beds, the special fruit platter they delivered; the hand made hand soaps in the bathroom... just lovely!

We were upgraded to the junior suite and the views and the room were just phenomenal! Thanks so much Palacio Nazarenas, may we stay again some day!

I am not sure, but the court yard rooms around the pool area are exposed and close to public areas, so my instinct would say smoking is not allowed. There are other room areas that perhaps allow smoking. I am not a smoker. I did notice that smoking is not prevalent in the area by locals.
