Perfect location super close to the central square (Plaza de Armas) and to very nice bars, restaurants and clubs. It´s still quiet and the beds in the dorms are comfy with personal curtain, power outlet and light. You get a very good night´s sleep. This is super important since they organize very nice daytrips to the most important destinations near Cusco for very affordable prices. The front desk people (especially Liz) are super nice and helped me organize my stay and what to do best on what day.
The bathrooms and showers are clean and you get hot water which is all I can ask for at a hostel.
I didn´t use the restaurant except for breakfast, which was solid but not spectecular.

We booked a private room with a queen size bed and private bathroom prior to and after our Salkantay Trek in June. Everything was clean and looked fairly new. The hostel is about a 30 second walk to the main plaza and is neighbor to an awesome creperie. The hostel owner, Jose, was super accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was included and there was fresh eggs, fruit, coffe, tea, and various breads available.

Very close to the Plaza de Armas, Cusco right were a lot of shops, restaurants and bars are located. Really liked this place for the cleanliness, the nice start into the day with their included breakfast, having filtered water and tea all day, and the curtains on the cozy beds. Lockers underneath the beds. I was in a 6bed dorm to the backside, which was quiete and nice.

This hostel is well located and the building itself is beautiful BUT they tried to harge us more than the price we had reserved on booking(dot)com?!! The lady at the reception explained that we booked in dollars, that Peruvian credit card machines only allow for amounts in euros or soles, that all hotels in Peru work like that, and she tried to charge us an amount in soles that was much higher than the applicable exchange rate on that day (and truth be told, higher than any exchange rate ever). This is an absolute lie, don't let them do that. Google the exchange rate between soles & your country's
currency and ask them to type in the exact amount in soles that Google gives you. Once I told the lady that I would be paying the amount I booked and not a cent more, she just typed in the correct amount in soles - but showed no sign of remorse or embarrassment: she knows she is scamming her guests.

I stayed in Nao Victoria for 5+ days. The staff are so kind and helpful. The dorms are comfortable and quiet (each bed has curtains, light and socket), as were the communal spaces- it was great to have a quiet afternoon reading or listening to music. The location was also great, 2 mins from the plaza de Armas. You could also leave your bags during multi day treks without issue. I actually returned to Nao Victoria after trying another hostel- best place I've stayed on my travels so far!

Nice place, but they have a very sleazy scheme to increase your rate if you book online in USD. When you get there they demand USD cash... in peru. They can take credit but for some reason are "unable" to charge USD. (Unlike every other hotel in Peru I've been to). They then convert your rate to Soles at the hotels "private" exchange rate which is in their favor. Essentially they add 10% to your agreed upon rate with this scheme.

I talked to the manager about this and he smiled the whole time as if this was a perfectly ok thing to do. " Sir I cannot do anyyhing it is our policy to set our own exhange rate". I did not have the same luck as the other reviewer who was able to get then to back down on the charge.

No other place in Peru pulled this trickery on me.

Nice hostel. Friendly and helpful staff that speaks good English. The rooms are quite big and comfortable beds. Bathrooms are clean. Nice breakfast and will fill your water bottle with filtered water for free. Close to everything and good internet. Can get a bit loud at night. We had an interior room and with the doors closed still heard some music.

paid 55 soles for a bunk. Free bedsheet, pillow and wifi. 5 soles extra if you need a towel. Breakfast included. 5 soles extra if you need egg in breakfast. Free Maida Bun. coffee, juice, butter and jam. Hostel was almost empty. They created a scene when I asked for a 12:00 noon checkout. Which is just 2 hrs more. Most hostels in Cusco offer 12:00 noon checkout by default. Never given early check in either. Stayed at 5 different hostels in Cusco. I never liked the staff here. Nice place if you want to sleep and meditate as it is quite and peaceful. Stay one night and then decide to extend as they dont offer refund. Hostel is always empty. They even gave me a torn 5USD and refused to take it back. I dont see people doing long stay here like other hostels.

We've been staying here for a couple nights and eveything was going great. The hostel itself is beautiful and worth every penny, but we were apalled when we recently saw an assumed manager verbally abuse one of their employees. We let it slide, but then the same guy, who towards us guests is a complete gentleman, went and chewed out another employee over nothing!
We really can't condone workplace abuse. We would leave ASAP if we could afford another place. It was really sad to see this level of abuse. We just feel awful for the employees and we hate to be supporting a place that mistreats their employees.

Very kind staff & very secure desk. Held my bag for free. Great suggestions. Not much of an atmosphere. Cafe is quiet but has good piscos at a fair price with a good view. 6 bed dorm was clean but no ventilation so it smelled awful.
