Loved our stay at Atoq San Blas in Dec '21/Jan '22. Clean, well-kept, and very friendly boutique hotel in a great neighborhood right next to the main city center in Cusco. Adorable decorations in the hotel and an amazing view of all of Cusco from the hotel balcony (they are on a small hill so you can really see the entire city). They left delicious pastry/cookies in our room, and the included breakfast was fabulous. We stayed here before and after our Inca Trail trek and had no issues checking our bags during the trek. Fabulous water pressure and hot water. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff was incredible, there was a bottle of wine and a handwritten welcome note along with a little card to tell you the weather upon arrival. They let me check in as soon as I arrived and check out when my taxi came to pick me up. There are no elevators and house keeping opens the windows when cleaning the room. I found this to be problematic because a fly would slip in but a note asking them not to do that would solve that problem. The room was spacious, there was an outlet behind the bed. The staff was kind and helpful and they even had a little store in the lobby. I loved everything about the hotel and would recommend it in a heart beat.

I chose to book a room, for my dad and me, at Atoq San Blas Hotel bc I read good reviews prior to our trip to Peru. I was not disappointed. The staff was amazing - Lucia and Lenin at the front desk during the day, the chef at breakfast, the kind maid, and the night person. Lenin, in particular, went above and beyond bc I was my own travel agent. I was having a bit of trouble with my itinerary and speaking Spanish. We were visiting from the USA, by the way. Thank you again, Lenin! The front desk is multilingual, moreover, and arranged transfers for us in-and-around Cusco and the Sacred Valley at a reasonable price with friendly drivers. I never hesitated once to dial "0" from my room for help, which was a nice feeling. The other guests staying at the hotel were down-to-earth and respectable. The room was safe, very clean, comfortable, and neat. Breakfast was delicious and coca tea was available 24hrs a day. They have a small gift shop onsite as well - with a nice collection of regional products. Heat, furthermore, is available in the morning and at night (at no extra cost). The two areas where I personally hesitated to make a reservation -- given all the choices in Cusco -- had to do with location and design. I didn't really know what "San Blas" meant, and I was looking to stay at a hotel with Spanish Colonial architecture. Do not hesitate to stay at this hotel. It's up on a hill, hence the San Blas district, with excellent views (see my pic and description) and nice shops, restaurants, and laundry services within walking distance. Choco Museo is nearby, moreover, and it was not too difficult 'for me' to walk to Avenida El Sol and back - even at the high altitude. While there are no columns and archways, the hotel is upscale, well-constructed, has smooth stucco walls along with Spanish roof tiles, and has its own private entrance. I will say: it's a bit of a maze for some taxi drivers to find Atoqsayuchi Street and Atoq San Blas Hotel can be easily confused with Atoq San Blas Hostel, but for us, that was all part of the journey. Peruvians, at every corner, are helpful and pleasant to interact with. We made good memories here. It happened to be our last stop in Peru, which was a wonderful way to end our trip. We would not have changed a thing and were very happy with our stay!

Our stay at Atoq San Blas Hotel made a huge impact on our recent trip to Peru! From the moment we got there to the moment we left, everyone was accommodating - making suggestions on good places to eat, helping us to get a ride, telling us where to get medicine for the altitude sickness, amongst other things. The management and staff know exactly how to make us feel welcome: they leave little notes about weather and we come back to delicious cakes and cookies in our room after being away for the day. Hot water and various teas, including coca leaves are always available in the lobby that’s more relaxing than the ones huge hotels offer. And the healthy choices for breakfast - I kind of miss that now that I am writing this review. We could not be more happier and satisfied - This place is THE PLACE to stay when in Cusco! Thank you to the staff and management! We appreciate you- keep up the good job!
