This hotel is in a perfect place to explore the old town. The rooms are away from the road and no noise during the night. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are old fashioned with wooden beds and furniture, clean and homely. Little bits of the hotel to explore as it has a big communal area in between rooms. Breakfast was quite basic but enough to get you going for the morning and they also did a breakfast for us in a bag as we had to leave at 5am for our plane.

We didn't know what to expect on this hotel, but our travel agent was very confident in her choice and I'm glad we took her advice. It's very centrally located in the historic district. The hotel is very comfortable and historic. The central courtyard is beautiful and a perfect place for a drink or the morning breakfast. Safe, filtered drinking water is available throughout. The staff is friendly, helpful and spoke English for us. The rooms are charming and comfortable. The two shops across the street are affordable and interesting and just one block away there is a chocolate shop with an interesting free demonstration and tasting. We were very happy with this hotel.

We had 2 nights in this charming hotel in the historic district and would happily stay here again. Everything went smoothly, from our pickup at the airport, to every point of contact we had with the hotel staff. Service: exceptional - every staff member went out of their way to help us (thank you, Brandon and others). Lots of advice and information on the area, as well as assisting us with arranging an on-site PCR test at the hotel. Close to all the historic district churches and restaurants, and yet surprisingly quiet. The suite was very comfortable and spacious, and the decor suited the ambience of the hotel. Comfortable and quiet spaces in the courtyard, plus a rooftop area. Lots of nice little touches here and there, but the predominant feature being the outstanding service provided throughout our stay. Gracias!

A Canadian (First Nation) group of 6 absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Patio Andaluz in Quito. The location was ideal in the heart of the Old City, the service was warm, attentive and accommodating, the meals were excellent and the ambience was authentic. We highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Quito.

Hotel Patio Andaluz is a beautiful small historic colonial hotel located in the heart of old town Quito. Its rooms and public spaces are spacious and very nicely furnished and decorated in period style. We stayed there with a number of friends in October 2021 and had a wonderful time. It is very centrally located in old town Quito and is an easy walk to all of the sights in old town. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and there are many other good choices for dining nearby, including a small family-owned shop selling very inexpensive and very good empanadas that has been in business since 1950. Many rooms are on two levels with stairs - ask for one that isn't if this would be a problem for you.
