Upon arrival I had to wait 2 hours until I could finally get a room. At first my room was already used and no one had made the cleaning of the room. Then I was relocated to another room with 2 full size beds when I booked a king size bed. I finally got to have some rest at 4:30 am because of all this issues.

There was a misunderstanding or lack of information from the staffs because the information that the staffs are providing are not the same and that is where you get confused. There system is not all connected.

I stayed here for a week for a work event during the pandemic (March 2022). Everything was fantastic, the bathroom is huge and beautiful, beds are comfortable, view is decent, the pool/spa/gym was nice though they were making people reserve the sauna/pool to track covid infections so you could not walk up and use it without planning. I had a Swedish massage at the spa. It was amazing. They had a nice locker room and showers there. The breakfast buffet was a thing to behold. There was a huge selection, of Ecuadorean and international breakfast foods, pastries, cold cuts, eggs, even ceviche, juice, coffee, etc. You could hire a taxi at the hotel to take you anywhere in Quito. The staff was unbelievable. There was a covid infection on our team and several of us were locked down for a few days. The staff was so helpful, they called the sick people constantly to see what they needed, they brought those of us in quarantine breakfast buffet selections, made sure everyone was well taken care of. Everyone was very impressed and grateful that we were at this hotel to go through that experience. I should not I did not pick or pay for this hotel.

Very classy hotel, good service, relaxing as well. The inhouse restaurants were also very good, the staff were friendly and any requests made were fulfilled. The language barrier was not a problem since staff spoke both English and Spanish well

This hotel was a very comfortable place to stay, with excellent service. I will stay there again when I return to Quito. The front desk staff really went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable; especially facing challenges: traveling during a pandemic and having an extremely late flight.

This is a good hotel in the financial district of the city. There are several nice restaurants in the area and a supermarket next door. The hotel is frequented by business guests. The highlight is the excellent breakfast buffet with an outstanding choice of hot foods, breads, and fruits. The rooms are simple but dated. The walls are paper thin and you can clearly hear your neighbours next door when they’re on phone calls. Ask for a room away from the Main Street as it gets quite LOUD otherwise.

This was a clean hotel with on premises restaurants and a bar. You would need to take Uber to go to the histocal district but it is not too far. The staff was attentive. The beds were extremely hard, and I need some give in order to sleep. For those of you who like hard mattresses, this is perfectly fine hotel in Quito.

Wife and I stayed at Swissotel 2 nights before and 1 night after Galapagos trip. The hotel is real nice, a very upscale atmosphere. People are extremely helpful and friendly. Room was best we had in our 17 day trip to Peru and Ecuador, large room, double sink bathroom, comfortable king bed. Hotel has many restaurants. We ate in their fancy one and had a great meal. Also tried their sports bar and had tasty hamburger. Also many good restaurants within 2 blocks. Didn’t use gym or pool but they were open. Recommend asking for inside facing room as street noise is pretty loud in outside rooms. Also be prepared for 9000 ft altitude, we’re from Florida so winded alot. 30-40 mins from airport but great location near all Quito sites.

We had to stay here as part of the Galapagos trip we took. It was clean and functional for a stay that was less than a night (we left at 4am for a flight). Certainly not somewhere we would stay for any longer.
