We stayed here for 4 nights while on our first vacation to Santiago. The hotel was clean and quiet. The beds/pillows were comfortable. Easy walking or Uber to several nice restaurants. The staff was very helpful and we would especially like to praise Hector for his excellent guidance during our stay. The outside courtyard was small put a pleasant place to sit and drink wine in the evening. The pool was too cold for us but we sat and soaked up the sun anyways(snowing back home). The breakfast was tasty and varied everyday we were there. We ate appetizers in the hotel restaurant one night and they were good. Not everyone spoke English but they were patient and gracious to us. Few minor complaints but no big deal(maybe we are spoiled). No wash cloths, no stopper for sink, no coffee machine or ice bucket, room could only be cooled with room key. Again, no big deal to any of these complaints. All in all a very nice hotel

The location in Vitacura is fine, with plenty of restaurants around.service is good, staff available and caring, which was pleasant. Room was average, bed comfortable but all around was noisy, day and night. You can hear noise from next room, people walking and chatting from the corridor, and above all doors being slammed. Even the service door used by staff on the floor was slammed XX times per day. Sleeping with earplugs to stop the noise is never good. The gap between the door and the floor does not help: we had to roll a bath rowel to muffle a bit the noise. TV was unwatchable with blurred images on most of the channels, although there is a good selection Chilean and other international channels. A bit overrated to me.

Classy hotel of modern design. Many spaces to meet with colleagues or friends. Rooms had comfortable bed, bottled water and adjustable temperature. The rooms were quiet. Nice breakfast. Great service and helpful staff. I would stay there again. I felt safe walking around.

Nice hotel, good service, excellent price:product relation from the front desk (Venezuelan), room maid, breakfast and particularly and reason for this review: Tibor, the young enthusiastic, though experienced barman. The next pictures show the drink, but the great taste you must experience yourself! Ask him about: Smoked Old Fashion (1st series) and last (for today): Scottish Business!

The hotel is in a good position for the tourist with a gentle walk of slightly less than one mile to get to the centre where one is spoilt for shops of all description. many restaurants within easy walking distance. food was good at the hotel but the menu for dinner was somewhat limited for choice. Very comfy hotel to stay in with a couple of parks within easy walking distance.

Well located. Our room was spacious with a nice modern decor. The lobby of the hotel is pleasant. However, when we arrived late at night we found that the bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous guests - no compensation or other remedy offered when we reported the problem (although we did not ask because we find it embarrassing, but I would have expected an immediate offer not to charge one night). The breakfast looks great at first sight, but if you are looking for a bit more, such as fat free milk or yogurt, or a good variety of fruit, or some smoked salmon, it's not available.

They have a great hotel staff, especially Belen at the front desk. I had lost my passport traveling from the airport to the hotel. She was persistent in following up with the airport authorities and cab company looking for it until it was found and returned. Her dedication to the job saved my vacation. Thanks Belen.

The hotel has amazing visual design, lights, paintings, modern furniture and architecture. The rooms are luxurious and the showers are modern and great water pressure. The Ofelia gastrobar has amazing food and gracious, attentive, friendly, efficient staff. The hotel staff also has the same qualities.

WE spent much time reviewing the many hotels in Santiago for a variety of factors. Despite the more than twenty hotels that are 4* or 5*, AND meet the criterias of having a TA 4.5 rating, providing free wifi, good air conditioning (based on reviews), underground parking and breakfast buffet- very few are in an area where you can walk out of the hotel and easily walk to over fifty great restaurants, parks, and even the best art museum in the city (Ralli) - and do so at any time of day or night. Yes, the Viticura area is manicured and wealthy, and this may be a turnoff to people wanting to experience the more gritty or 'real' South America found in Santiago center (although I'd hardly describe any part of Santiago frequented by tourists as gritty relative to most SA capital cities). But at the very least, compared to the rows of hotels in the other similar commercial areas of tall buildings in the vicinity and just south of it, where most of the US chains are aggregated, and the cluster in the very very busy intersections near Costanera Center, this hotel has a better location for those wanting quiet, with more walkability options. The historic center area is certainly nice, with Belle Vista offering more ''bohemian' character and Lastarria plenty of tourist friendly features along with proximity to most major attractions and many restaurant options at all levels of affordibility. However, the more peaceful and safer setting of the Pullman, near great restaurants will appear more to some. The rooms are standard 4*, the one we were in seemed recently renovated, very minimalist - all grey and black tones. Good beds, and linens, excellent soundproofing and housekeeping, great water pressure and temperature control, standard bathroom amenities a good view of a few mountains when facing the front. Nothing about the room or spaces made it exceptional or memorable, but as a total package, it worked very well for comfort. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. One shouldn't drive in Santiago, but if you have a car on the way to other places, parking was free, clean, well lit, so easy (and be assured, from direct experience, this is NOT the case at some 5* hotels in this town). The breakfast was the weakest link - truly not worth it for what we would expect of the Pullman hotels, but perhaps reflective of most breakfast in this city - we are not sure- but it was very underwhelming- subpar cheeses, soggy scrambled eggs, awful bread choices, little by way of jams, soft overripe fruit, almost no 'hot' choice beyond the messy eggs. The staff were excellent and the most efficient in clearing plates we've seen! With Uber operating so efficiently in this city you can stay anywhere and choices are many- we believe this Pullman is one of the best, in balancing many positives.
