If you have stayed at other Ibis hotels in the world, you know that they are built according to modern architecture, where they are equipped in a modern and minimalist way. Good and cozy hotel for the price. Good beds and mattresses. The breakfast buffet was tasty with a large selection of international and Asian dishes - always plenty even when it got late. One of the better ones I've had my breakfast in when I've been in Asia. The pool area is fine for the hotel, as there is both a baby pool and one for adults. There is what should be. There is a well-equipped gym, which at other hotels you have to pay for. The friendly reception staff are happy to help with sightseeing tips and arrangements.
If there were problems during our stay, it was always fixed with a smile. Yes, there is always room for improvement, but if the hotel doesn't get to know it, they can't react to it.

Stayed one night at the Ibis Styles Singapore and overall it was fine for the price paid. This has to be the cheapest Accor property in Singapore that is not an Ibis Budget. Arrived around 7AM and was told check in is at 3pm. I wasn't expecting the room to be available but it should have been offered if one was free. I asked them to contact when a room was available, and they did not, so turned up at 3. First room they gave me was on level 4, which is the same level as the outdoor pool. This room was small and dark. When I pulled up the blinds, I noticed that my room had someone on a sun lounger directly outside my room! I went back to Reception to complain and they gave me a much nicer room on a higher floor with district views that was much brighter. Had dinner in the restaurant which was fine, and the outdoor pool was a nice facility to have access to. Location wise its not bad but its not the most convenient for tourists in Singapore. About a 15 min walk to the nearest MRT station with some nearby bus stops. Not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, and the so called shopping mall the hotel was in seemed all but abandoned. Overall not a bad choice for budget travellers, I would consider staying here again if the price was right, but wouldn't go out of my way to return.

We stayed for one night at the Ibis on Macpherson to be a bit closer to the airport for an early morning flight, having stayed the previous four nights at Robertson Quay. On arrival, we found a smell of sewerage in the foyer, which was not a pleasant way to begin our short stay. We had one meal (dinner) at the hotel, probably the worst meal we had in Singapore. Even though we were the only ones in the dining room, we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to be served. We ordered a bottle of wine, only for the waiter to advised they did not have any refrigerated. However, the on-tap beer was cold and quite refreshing. We did not use the pool as it was raining during our stay. Overall, our stay served its purpose, but if staying again in Singapore I’d look elsewhere.

Do not opt for IBIS Style hotels (especially Indian Tourist please avoid such hotels, we are habitual of staying in a bigger room size hotels). Hotel rooms of this hotel are too small, match box size. Need to keep the luggage below the bed, if you want to roam-around in the room. Wash basin is in the middle of the room, you make an entry in the room first thing you see is the washbasin. You will surprise to see a 3ftx2ft bath and 2.5ftx2.5ft toilet, both are in triangular shape, making it more cumbersome and difficult to use. Most surprising is the pillar in the middle of the room. Housekeeping team needs continuous follow-ups for small small things. Macpherson hotel is outside city, hardly any restaurants, shops etc. in the nearby area.
Please note that if you are booking through a small or not so famous local tour operators from your country (especially from India) they will offer these kind of hotels only, which fits in their budget. With same room rent you can get a good 4* hotel in the heart of the city provided you book on your own. Please avoid booking hotels through tour operators, if you are planning to visit East Asian countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia etc. Please plan your own itinerary, sightseeing you can manage on your own.

Check in was smooth however the real ordeal started after we entered our room. It was extremely small and definitely not meant for 2 Adults and 1 Kid. The size is advertised as 194 Sq. Ft. but it is no bigger than 100 Sq. Ft. There was no cupboard albeit a hanger. Room service did not exist. Guests were asked to fill up water from reception or restaurant themselves. Restaurant gets closed by 10PM so your are left to arrange for your food afterwards. The hotel is located in a shady mall so the AC is managed centrally for both which meant if mall AC is switched off, hotel AC doesn't cool anymore. Bathroom door lock was broken so no privacy while you do your stuff inside. Room cleaning was limited to cleaning the bathroom and changing towels. Staff doesn't make the bed unless you specifically request them. For toiletries, there was only body wash in the bathroom.
Breakfast spread was alright however tables were limited so it got really busy in the morning and we had to wait for half an hour to get a table.
General behaviour of staff was indifferent. They didn't care to make it a comfortable stay for anyone.
Overall a very bad experience. It's a budget hotel as per the staff but they charge a bomb. Better to spend a little extra and get a better hotel.

I’ve been staying here every time I visit Singapore since November 2024, and it’s consistently great value for money. The room is cold n clean, the bathroom is clean, and there’s no wait for hot or warm water in the shower - little details like these really enhance the experience. I always stay at budget hotels but this one is the worst. I am an Accor Silver member too. Upon booking, I asked to put a contact person on the booking because my companion will arrive and check-in earlier than I will. Instead of just a note, they changed the name on the booking instead. So I had to go through a whole set of processes just to get the booking recognized on my Accor account. When we finally got there, there was no light in the shower area. In 5 nights of stay, the room was cleaned only once and that was the only time they refreshed the amenities. They didn't even clean/replace the dirty mugs and cups. It takes them so long to bring up fresh towels when requested, sometimes they don't even bring it up at all. I claimed my Accor benefit of a late checkout and was allowed to check out at 2pm, but on check out day, they harassed us into checking out by calling every 15 minutes starting 11:30am. The receptionists didn't feel welcoming and whenever we approached reception it never felt like they were happy to see us. As if it was a chore for them to do their jobs. It was a mistake ignoring the low review score on this hotel because I've had nothing but great experiences with Accor hotels. This one made me doubt the quality of the rest of the chain.

I recently stayed at Ibis MacPherson, booked through Agoda, and was disappointed with the experience. Initially, the promise of daily free shuttle bus services to Chinatown, Orchard, and Tai Seng, as stated on the Agoda website, influenced my decision.
However, upon arrival, I discovered the shuttle service wasn't free as advertised. Instead, it required an additional payment of $35 per trip and was available only upon request.
This discrepancy between advertised and actual services greatly inconvenienced my family, especially given the hotel's less-central location and the need to walk to transportation hubs in rainy weather without shelter.
Adding to the disappointment was the unprofessional conduct of the reservation manager, GEM. Despite booking through Agoda, GEM insisted I had booked through Booking.com during a conversation that lasted a minute.
Her behavior was unwarranted and reflected poorly on the hotel's customer service standards.
Furthermore, GEM's false statement that my family declined offered transport, when they were actually asked to pay $35 per trip, is unacceptable.
It's essential for Ibis to uphold integrity in its business practices, especially regarding advertised services.
Such incidents, along with similar complaints on Google reviews, tarnish Accord's reputation and Singapore's tourism industry.

This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. I would like to discount the fact that the room sizes are extremely small and just focus on services. Hotel Staff is not at all polite instead its aggressive I stayed there for 3 nights but they didnt clean the room even once and didnt even change the towels after repeated requests. Also you are supposed to empty your trash cans by yourself. There is non-existent room service, you can keep on calling the operator but nobody will receive the call. Restaurant serves very limited food options and the quality of food is terrible while its priced like some premium Hotel. To summarize, avoid this place whether you are travelling for business or pleasure.

I lost my water flosser and electric toothbrush in room 547. I stayed at Ibis Macpherson with my company from 23/3 to 26/3. On March 26, I forgot my water flosser and electric toothbrush in room 547, I asked the tour guide who lead the second team of our company from March 26 to March 29 to ask the hotel about it. Initially the hotel said housekeeping had not arrived and will respond later and then the hotel said it was not found. I was quite disappointed because I knew where the item was forgotten, the hotel could totally know who cleaned my room and asked them about the thing I forgot.
