This hotel is well located -close enough to Orchard Road and Orchard MRT. One of the key features of this hotel is the Straits Kitchen - one of the very best hotel breakfast buffets and dinner buffets. Particularly it caters very well for vegetarians especially with the Indian menu. There are great food options from Chinese, to Western with a great selection of local favourites.

Just concluded my trip at this wonderful hotel. Located in the heart of Orchard Road, travellers who are visiting Singapore for the first time would appreciate its proximity to the shopping strips.
The hotel has amazing facilities like a lovely pool and poolside dining. The hotel has a proper gym with lots of equipment. The change room has hot and cool pools, steam room, sauna and even a rest area. Amazing! The club room was closed during this low season, but one gets to enjoy breakfast and evening canapés at their restaurants. One gets the full breakfast buffet and order from their ala carte menu during evenings, no complains here!
Was fortunate enough to be upgraded a Grand Suite King during this stay (see pictures). Huge room!
The staff were extra attentive during my stay. Temperature taking at the entrance as well as constant cleaning and sanitising of common areas to ensure the safety of all guests. 👍 A special shoutout to Ms Katherine Pincaro and Ms Grace Tan for their support and extra tasty amenity I received prior to/during my stay. Appreciate it a lot!

Stayed at Hyatt twice over the past few months for staycations when we can’t travel at the moment :) Hotel rooms are kind of dated but well maintained and the deluxe rooms were like a mini junior suite with door separating the living room - I thought it was a good size for the price we paid :) They had a stay 3 pay 2 deal :) Hotel is well located and we get to Ion / Taka / Paragon easily for shopping :) Restaurants on site like Pete’s place, Straits kitchen serve great quality food and the service each time was consistent and welcoming. Really felt the stuff tried their best even when breakfast lines were long and it’s harder now with them having to take orders for a la carte buffet. Attentive to my kids needs and tried to coax them to eat when they see me struggling w my picky 3 year old. It’s the little things like these that makes a difference :) I have stayed at Mandarin which is well located and the rooms are more renovated but the service felt less personal. So I would Recommend Hyatt more for a relaxing stay :)

Room were spacious, come with seperate living area and bedroom. The rm are clean and well maintained.
Bathroom has seperate bathtub and shower, Good thing they has bidet too which is very rare nowadays.
Smooth chkin and chkout process by the Front Office Team.
We would like to Thank Aqid frm concierge team for assisting us and make our stay memorable. Thank you for the surprise amenities.
Breakfast crowd at Straits was well manage and food were great. Staff shld brief diners on how the new norm of buffet style is serving now duento covid. I was ursher to my seat and the staff left without letting us know the purpose of the QR Code on the table. Other than that, its all good

Very pleasant experience during staycation at Grand Hyatt. Was granted slightly early check in and the process was smooth. Requested for a baby cot and it was sent to our room in no time.
Prior to check in, informed the staff that the staycation was for a birthday celebration and we were greeted with a chocolate birthday cake and a birthday card.
We opted in for dinner and breakfast package and were spoilt for choice. We were served with a reasonable portion of what was ordered. Special shout out goes to Mr. Shahri Buhari, Assistant Manager of Straits Kitchen. Not only did he greet us with a warm welcome, he dropped by our table every now and then and asked if our food was alright and if there were any other food that we ordered that has not arrived. As we were seated at a blind spot table, He is very attentive and made sure that our request were attended to.
As our check out day was a Saturday, we did not request for a late check out as we assumed that there will be many guest checking in for the weekend, and to ensure that the rooms were turnover in time for the next guest, we left the room by 12 noon.
Overall, it a joyous celebration and a and unforgettable staycation at Grand Hyatt. Two thumbs up!

My booking suppose to be on 17/4 , however the sg government announce there will be a circuit breaker due to the current virus on 3/4 call the hotel on the same date and was advice To call back the next day morning on 4/4 to Change my booking. Manage to spoke to the reservation team and told by them the hotel will call back to me (receive call in ard 30min) and successful change the date to 4/4 and request a cake as we decide to have an early celebration on my wife birthday. The hotel did not disappoint me o the last min request. Smooth check in and check out by Jaypee. Notice not only Jaypee, but all Other staff in hotel is nice n friendly. Always see staff cleaning the lift and there is sanitiser over for you to use. temperature taken when go in to hotel vicinity. Room is big , nice bed with nice tea n 4 bottle of drinking water provide. Good water pressure on shower however the temperature is abit hard to control. The hotel will try their best to provide what you need. They even provide kids shower gel and shampoo for free (upon request) They do have nice Swimming pool however is abit far and troublesome to walk over as need to climb down the stairs. As for the breakfast taste is acceptable however food spread is not huge (maybe due to current virus) you are unable to take your own food as the staff will assist on your request. But staff even Chef are all friendly and positive. I also went to same place for dinner as a in-house guest I enjoy 20% discount on my dinner. Dinner taste acceptable, attitude of staff is good. Hotel provide complimentary parking. Hotel come with smoking and non smoking room. For smoker remember to Request for that as smoking in orchards is only allow is certain designated area. Definitely will want to come back after the covid-19 virus if the price is right.

My daughter's wedding was scheduled on 16 May 2021. On 14 May Singapore government announced tightened measures for Covid control to prohibit dining in public starting 16 May. Fortunately there is "Grandfather Allowance" for wedding only to proceed on that day but every guest needs to be tested. Grand Hyatt is excellent in helping the frustrated couple to find the resources needed and generously allows space and rooms for them to cope with the requirements. Under these circumstances, the wedding is a simple one with limited guests and my daughter has no bridesmaid to help. We are so thankful to a lady staff who attended to her all the time and helped in every detail. The bride's changing room was also tidied up timely during the whole event. These are out of expectations!! They are really professional in helping the newly-weds. Everything went smooth! Last but not least, the dinner was so delicious ( Chinese menu ) that we have the fine dining experience. Both the families of the bride and groom were so happy to say that luckily we had chosen Grand Hyatt as the venue for the wedding.

We were 4 adults and two small children. Catherine (front desk) who was wonderful, arranged for two adjoining rooms with living rooms. She also was able to check us in early which was great since we had been flying for 24hrs. The rooms were clean and well maintained by housekeeping. It is an older hotel but they keep it clean and in working order. The location is very convenient to MRT and many malls that have great food courts for young families that are looking for casual atmosphere. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of food options and the staff, although very busy, made us feel welcome every morning. Catherine also made note that our last day was our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. The staff brought a small cake to our table to celebrate. It was a thoughtful touch. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definately return.

Staycation for three days and two nights at the Junior Suite Room. Huge and clean room, spacious enough for my two toddlers to run around as well as enjoy the bathtub. The bedroom is separated from the living area that has a workstation.
Hospitality is excellent. Informed the hotel at the last minute about my son’s birthday month and received a complimentary birthday cake with card! The hotel even provide bathrobe, room slippers and toiletries for kids (upon request)!
The swimming pool is suitable for toddlers but requires direct supervision in case the kids walk down the stairs that leads to the deeper pool.
Highly recommended and will definitely comeback.

We booked 4 separate booking for 2 nights consecutively and have emailed in the hotel beforehand to inform of the booking and request for extra bed for 3rd person occupancy. As my mother is on wheelchair and undergoing medical treatment, we are concerned about her well-being and comfort. Grand Hyatt ensures that the room is spacious enough and convenient for her easy access. They have given us the connecting room despite us not requesting for it. As it was a standing shower room, we requested for plastic stool for her convenience and it was promptly delivered. We had issues with the hot shower on the 2nd day and the technician comes by and had it rectified immediately. Such prompt, efficient and high quality service delivered by all members of Grand Hyatt. My mother truly enjoyed her short break and is looking forward to return to Grand Hyatt for another staycation. Thank you for accommodating our family! We hope in times of adversity, all members of Grand Hyatt remains steadfast and calm in delivering the best service. ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't use it so you need to check with hotel. They were flexible with check in and check out times. They gave use junior suites which were fantastic.
