Oonah at the reception was very helpful, all staff very friendly, hotel a bit old, but room clean, nice location in Singapore, very convenient to major ateas in the city. Small shopping centre nearby, with many Japanese brands.

Thank you for the great hospitality. Front office team the reception ❤️John , was attentive and professional in serving me . I booked a twin room but i didn’t want to sleep with 2 beds . He assisted me to do a room change to king bed room . Thanks for the help sir . My stay was great. Thanks for even assisting me to book a grab to go to Sentosa , recommend of the famous chilli crab and hop on details and stops at China town . Will definitely come back for another honeymoon trip to see new Amara look with your hospitality team . Thanks to the Raymond uncle for your kind greetings in morning each day 👍. Warm welcoming to the hotel by the reception staff John , had great sense of hospitality and assisting me and fast check in . Even though it was late night and F1 period didn’t know where to go . John gave me good ideas where to go late hrs for shopping and street food and enjoy the night race view . Thanks John looking forward in coming back for another business trip again. Hope the hotel can go through some renovations seems quite outdated abit .

Great and welcoming staff member Raymond was able to accommodate me after a early morning arrival with a room already ready. Room was large with a comfortable bed and well equipped with all the needs. The Jigger & Pony bar and other restaurants are a great addition to the hotel.

After arriving at Changi airport we used the MRT train system to get to the hotel. Use the EW green line from level B2 within the airport, you have to purchase an EZ-Link card for S$10 (including S$5 which is non-refundable) from a vending machine at the station and load it with at least $S10 cash (note you can’t use an international bank card in the machine). This allows travel by MRT trains, local buses, river taxis & Sentosa Express monorail. The EZ-Link cards are also available for purchase and top up from customer service counters at MRT stations and 7-11 stores. To get to the hotel there are 2 stops, first to Tanah Merah (EW4), then connect to Tanjong Pagar (EW15). Use the Tanjong Pagar Road exit, when you come out of the station walk down to Tanjong Pagar Rd, turn left and the hotel is just a few metres on the left. Be aware of travelling during weekday peak hours (7:30-10am & 5-8pm), as the metro system gets very busy. We stayed in a modern refurbed Premium Executive room on the 6th floor, which had large floor to ceiling windows facing west over Tanjong Pagar Rd, but also a lot of very high residential skyscrapers. Breakfast is from 6.30-10am and is very good with plenty of choice of food. The room had a king size bed, 32 sqm, wifi, air con, good hanging space, drawers & shelves for clothes etc, but only 6 hangers, water was provided each day (although you can also drink the tap water), coffee & tea, Japanese style toilet, walk in shower, robes, slippers (a new pair is provided each day), hairdryer, all toiletries, tooth brush & paste, shaver & gel, torch, iron & board, lots of plug sockets (which are the same 3 pin type as the UK), usb ports, dressing table, sofa, desk & chair. There is a large terrace, pool, sunbeds etc & gym also located on the 6th floor. Check out is at 12.00. Secure luggage storage is available. There is also a large Fair Price supermarket and a small 7 Eleven across the road from the hotel, aswell as many food outlets. There is also a larger 7 Eleven behind the hotel. Another food court is a few mins walk to the left as you come out of the hotel. There are numerous bars & restaurants as you turn right out of the hotel along Tanjong Pagar Rd.…

People here are amazing. Raymond, Judy and other staff are really helpful. Lighting in the room is not sufficient. Would have appreciated more space in general. Breakfast is just average for 20 dollars. Not worth the money 420 sgd per day. But if you are getting it for reasonable price it is good. It's in a happening area and there are lot of restaurants and pubs in walkable distance
