We had two 1 night stays at the Mandarin Oriental at the start and end of our 4 week holiday to Australia. As always everything was perfect. The location is fantastic and the service to top notch. We always stay in the club rooms as the club lounge is fantastic with great staff especially Jaya who always welcomes us back. Service by the pool is great with fruit and sun glass cleaning! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to see the new refurbished hotel later in the year.

Our third visit to this hotel in a club Marina View room, I love this hotel, its in a great location, lovely swimming pool and the club service is excellent. We are looking forward to staying again next year when the hotel opens after there 6 month refurbishment.

I was an emcee at my friend’s wedding at Mandarin Oriental and Jegan was the banquet operation manager in-charge. He was very clear and thorough for the event briefing and I felt very assured when he says’ to listen to his cue only’ throughout the whole event. The Hotel can only be rated 2 star. Poor quality recycled foods from the night before to be served for breakfast the next day, broken and dilapidated sun beds with ripped and stained covers, Dirty rooms, Ripped settees in the bed rooms , Mould in the bathrooms and shower room. The list is endless. Faulty electric light switches, dangerous wirings.

We have been in Singapore 5 times and always stayed at Mandarin Oriental. There is no option for us to even think about another Hotel. The Staff is so friendly - most of them know you by name. We will definitely come back and meet Mr. Marcel Li and not to forget the staff in the club lounge. I don't remember all the names up there, but we remember Jeff. 🤗 Good luck with the renovation. Had the opportunity to do my wedding banquet at MO hotel. Firstly I would like to thank the staff for their great help from planning to the end of wedding. There were zero delays whenever we needed things to be done. They provided great assistance to us during the wedding dinner. Special thanks to April and Sharlyn for their assistance throughout our entire journey from planning to d-day. They went out of their work duties to help cater to our needs. Will also want to specially mention jegan and bell for their utmost efforts and their professionalism during the wedding ceremony. They are just awesome and I can't thank all of them enough for their help. For the hotel stay, gotta say, ZERO DISAPPOINTMENTS from them. Everything was great and the stay experience is just superb!! Went for a weekend lunch in Dolce Vita Kitchen. The food and environment was amazing and we really enjoyed it..from appetizers to desserts. The services we received was impressive as well. The staff was so friendly and approachable (Have to give a shout out to Sumo, Ganesan, Muven & MJ). Highly recommended! Thank you! Will definitely come again!

My third time at the MO Singapore. Over the years I've seen the service go from exceptional to good. The hotel was very busy when we went, they also seemed to be short staffed. Hotel location is great to stay in Singapore. Lots of things to do within walking distance. We had a city suite, which was very large but with a small-ish bedroom and 2 single beds? I would except them to have double beds in their room. Also the bathroom was nothing to speak of, which is a bit of a let down in a suite at a Mandarin oriental. (we did also have a half bath which is great to have) The hotel starts to show its age- full refurbishment is imminent. On a brighter note I still think they have the best breakfast buffet I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. The variety and quality of offerings is outstanding. We had dinner in one of the hotel restaurant and the food was ok. Singapore is an expensive city and the MO is priced accordingly. I am sure that the hotel will be great again after a refurb and maybe some staff retraining to offer the personal attention they once provided. …
