Nestled in a prime spot, the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, garners accolades for its proximity to attractions and mesmerizing Marina Bay views, although a few guests note the presence of nearby construction. Visitors are charmed by the hotel's stylish rooms equipped with modern comforts, even as some have encountered minor hiccups with service. The cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property receive high marks, enhancing the luxurious and modern ambiance that defines the guest experience. While opinions on value vary, the staff's professionalism and the hotel's well-appraised amenities, including the renovated Club Lounge Haus65, contribute to its overall acclaim.

It’s been a week since our wedding and stay at Mandarin Oriental, and we still can’t stop thinking about it. The service is top notch, exceeding our expectations for the 5 star hotel. The banquet food received multiple compliments from our guests, especially the dong po pork and cod fish. Chef Yong’s food was bussin’ indeed (as quoted by my youngest sis). The marina bay suite was heavenly and we loved all the tiny details that went into our stay. Big shoutout to Charmaine Kang who was my bridal helper that day- she followed me everywhere from the ROM to the end, helping me with my long dress and making sure I’m well hydrated.

Thanks to Banquet Manager Zet too for making the entire event so seamless and enjoyable for our guests and for us. AV Manager Sulaiman was also very professional and easy to work with, he even let us rehearse a week before the wedding.

Weddings coordinator/manager Wen En was very patient with our questions and requests, despite the busy F1 period. His experience with weddings shone through as he arranged for room service breakfast on the wedding day, and was helping with the wedding throughout. He made our stay from check in to check out a seamless one. His busy schedule however sometimes meant slow replies during the lead up to the wedding event, although during the period 2 weeks before the wedding, he replied almost instantly always.

Concierge helped us with printing for our wedding the next day even though it was almost 11pm. However everything was printed in A4 even though we indicated smaller sizes for notes and A3 for seating arrangements.

Instructions during F1 was alright but definitely can be better, as numerous guests were either unable to find the A-lane, or got lost within the Marina Square carpark. More signages in the car park needed.

Upgrade for the suite is much appreciated!

Sensational renovation to this stunning hotel, with a few minor issues outlined below. We stayed in connecting Marina Bay Rooms between Xmas and New Year for two nights. Our 17 year old daughter was travelling with us and we all loved the new decor and style of the hotel. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who took us straight up to Haus65 on Level 21 for check in and drinks. Haus65 is the fabulous Oriental Club Level (12+) location, impeccable service and a very impressive experience.
Our rooms were beautifully appointed, slightly smaller than we expected with limited room for suitcases but nonetheless, incredibly stylish with first class technology - from electric black out curtains to mood lighting in the bathroom. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept very well.
Breakfast was fantastic with a vast array of food from an extensive buffet. Staff were attentive and thoughtful but did seem slightly overwhelmed due to the volume of guests - it was particularly busy.
The Pool area is wonderful however, the use of spaces could do with some further thought. Appreciate it's a busy time of year but for those wanting to relax by the pool, it was quite hard to do that with young families jumping and squealing within a few metres of you. In such a high end hotel, we would have expected that young children/families have a separate pool to play in as it was almost impossible to switch off from the noise although we appreciate the hotel is catering to all, we are unlikely to consider the hotel again during this time of year. The Four Seasons has a pool for Adults and Children 12+ on one level and a Family pool on the rooftop for example.
Small service/planning issues...it was particularly busy however, we arrived late in the afternoon and had to wait for over an hour to access our rooms which was a little disappointing. The next day, Housekeeping didn't clean the top of the bathroom basin in our room and our teapot still had the teabags left in it from that morning. 1 x English Breakfast teabag for two people in a room was a bit odd given it's the most popular tea, more were brought when we asked. Breakfast is bedlam some mornings, would highly recommend the hotel considers sections for families and large groups so adults or individuals dining can enjoy a more peaceful breakfast experience. It did feel like a buffet on a cruise ship full of passengers.
We really wanted to lie by the pool to relax but it was particularly noisy and full of young children. Felt like a holiday camp so ruined the experience for us really but we do understand that it was a very busy time and the hotel likely full. Families are entitled to have fun but it was pretty underwhelming trying to have a swim with children jumping on top of you.

Overall, it was an excellent stay but we do wonder if the hotel is trying to cater for everyone but hasn't quite planned the facilities so everyone can enjoy it? Adults should be able to enjoy the experience they want to have, as much as families.

We chose MO as our choice of wedding venue. Was really impressed with their service during venue hunting. Our wedding co-ordinator Sharlyn is with us from the start of planning till the wedding day. She is always there to answer all our questions and accommodating to all our needs and requests for the wedding. Really thankful for her in making sure our wedding was a wonderful experience.

Would also like to thank the banquet manager Oscar and his team in ensuring the banquet went smoothly. Our guests complimented that the staff were very attentive to their needs and food served was timed nicely.

Thank you to AV assistant Ismin for ensuring our photo montage, video montage and songs played were great and had no technical difficulties. He even suggested a play a photo slideshow while guests were having food.

Thank you to chef yong, chef tan and his team for the wonderful food served. All the guests complimented the food was one of the best they had.

Special thanks to our bridal assistant Alice for helping with the gown, following the bride around and taking care of the small little details (eg giving a straw to ensure bride makeup is not smudged, ensuring food is packed and served to the room for couple to eat after the banquet). Really thankful MO provided this service as it really takes a lot of stress off on the actual day.

Would also like to commend on the friendly reception staff and valet staff, always smiling and welcoming us.

If you are considering MO as your wedding destination, we would highly recommend as we are very very happy with the service provided. Do look for Sharlyn if you would like to plan your wedding. 😊😊

For a price of 1500 SGD/night in Suite 2037, you would expect clothes to be cleaned in less than 27 hours. In addition, the room was completely uncleaned and really dirty on the second to last day. Complaints are listened to, but ignored. Apologies=none. It was funny on December 5th, 2023 at 6 p.m. that there was drilling and hammering in the next room. Unfortunately, I will no longer frequent this hotel.

We arrived in Singapore and was greeted at the airport with our booked transfer through the hotel, we had a long flight from the UK and arrived 8am so we were really pleased when we were taken to our room when we arrived at the hotel, we checked in within the room and luggage followed.
The room we booked for the 4 nights was a club room which gave us access to the priority lounge where we had free drinks and snacks through out the day.

We were even entitled to free cocktails up to 7.30pm in the lounge on the floor 21.

The location and the staff were fantastic, all the staff in the hotel couldn’t do enough, the breakfast had so much choice.
Our room looked over MBS and the beds were so comfy.

If your looking at maybe booking this hotel and our unsure, you won’t be disappointed.

Only two months after the last stay at the MO Singapore we stepped into the lobby again and were at home...

Staying at a Marina Bay View room with Haus65 access is unbeatable. Believe me, I know many hotels in Singapore.

The staff of MO Singapore is what makes it so unique.

They know us, we know them. We always look forward to seeing them again.

This time once again Indian Chef Santosh wanted to spoil us with a surprise menu.
He just asked what we would like to eat and then surprised us with some Indian-Fusion dishes, finishing off with Omani lobster as main course.

Thank you Andrew and Jaya from Haus65.

See you in April again. We can't wait any longer. It is becoming a tradition to celebrate our son's birthday at the MO, long way from home....

As the first couple to hold our wedding in the newly renovated hotel, we were nothing but surprised at how newly renovated the interiors were. The atrium suite was well lit with LED wall that enhanced the whole experience. The bridal suite was amazing as our date fell on F1 period, the tracks and fireworks view were stunning.

We would like to extend our greatest gratitude to our event manager, Ji Wen En that made sure everything was smooth. The whole wedding planning left us only praises for him. He did his best to meet all our requirements and even exceeded our expectations. He knows his field well and advise us a lot in this whole journey. He was easy to talk to and always try his best not to disappoint us. He even replied our queries late into the night before the wedding.

We would also like to thank Oscar, the banquet manager and Alice the bridal assistant. They were professional in handling and attending to our needs during the event, making sure we were comfortable. There were small hiccups but Oscar managed to resolve timely and all our guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The AV in-charge Sathia and Sulaiman ensured the whole event ran smoothly with no incident from the AV side of the house.

Lastly, thankful to the chef, Chef Tan for preparing the great food which our guests were all satisfied. The portion was good and tasted great. Feedback from the food tasting were well taken note of and we saw the feedback taken into consideration on that day.

Wouldn’t have chosen another hotel for our big day as MO has really exceeded our expectations in all areas.

The recently refurbished Mandarin Oriental in Marina Bay sets an altogether new standard for hospitality and quality of food and services. We were amazed by the number of staff, always on hand to help you find a restaurant or a particular landmark, and by the six sonic lifts which ensure that you hardly ever have to wait for a ride (and that's in a hotel with over 500 rooms). Michael Pasia at the front desk, and Krishna among the many affable porters, could not have done more to make our six-day stay a success. The international buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Embu Restaurant on the third floor are absolutely outstanding as well as being value for money.

Booked a high-end room at the Mandarin oriental Singapore, where I had stayed previously and loved it. I got an email from them saying there was a problem with the room and they were booking us in a lower price room with a discount. OK no problem I told them. When we got to the hotel, there were many hotel workers who politely greeted us in the lobby. I've never had half a dozen people greet me when I enter a hotel, but OK it was nice enough. But... it was clear the Mandarin was in the process of being renovated..
When we got to the room, it smelled extremely strongly of fresh paint. So strongly, my wife became nauseous. Then after about a minute, there was a more or less continuous hammer banging and drllling in the room above us. It was clear the whole hotel was under renovation and yet they expected people to stay there. Also, given how empty the hotel was, it was very odd that they put us in a room directly beneath a construction site, so that it was maximally loud.
We obviously couldn't stay there, so we booked a hotel near the Mandarin. I told the manager that this wouldn't fly in a Motel Six ( for non Americans a very cheap chain in the USA), let alone the Mandarin Oriental.
The manager was very apologetic and very nice and assured us we wouldn't be charged for the room and they would comp us a free night next time we're in Singapore. Appreciate that of course.
Perhaps next time wait a few days so renovation can be completed and the air clears out and your hotel guests are not nauseous and disturbed by construction noises, in what used to be one of the nicest, and certainly most expensive, hotels in Singapore.

I was there at a Wedding Lunch. The hotel is very beautiful and very upscale. The toilets are very well equipped with remote control bidet (if you have heard of it before even). The terry towels for drying your hands, are constantly being replenished.
Most importantly, we had great service from the banquet staff. They were very helpful and service oriented (nice play with words there. 🤔🤭) The Cocktail Hors d'oeuvres were so exciting! I was especially thrilled with the asparagus with cookie pastry served warm. Special mention, Deva, from the main entrance assisted and accompany & direct me out of the maze of a carpark, so I could go to the appropriate exit and pick up my friend from the main entrance to bring her to hospital. Thank God for Deva! 🙏🏼😯 I am impressed with the service at this hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.
