Detailed Reviews
Comparatively priced with other budget hotels, Snooze Hotel Marine Parade delivers an ambience that is functional, basic, yet relatively comfortable. One might not find many amenities within the room, however, the cleanliness of the space does make up for it.
The location is quite suitable and advantageous, nestled right beside a selection of great restaurants and bars which allow guests to enjoy a variety of food and drinks options. For us, the location was particularly favorable due to its proximity to our friends and family, which is likely the most compelling reason for us to consider a return visit.
However, the hotel's deposit policy could use some much-needed clarity. While a deposit of SGD 50 is required, they only accept it in cash, which can cause inconvenience to some guests.
The biggest area of improvement would be the hotel staff's approach towards guests. Unfortunately, the service err on the side of indifferent - it appears as if the staff operate under the assumption that the guests are unlikely to return, thus there is no incentive to extend warm, friendly service. This is certainly an aspect that the hotel could work on to enhance their guest experience.
The hotel certainly has some benefits. The supply of hot water, quiet rooms, and the independence provided to the guests due to no servicing of rooms during the stay can prove to be suitable for guests looking for uncomplicated accommodation.
To sum it up, Snooze Hotel Marine Parade is utilitarian and basic. If you are in search of lavish amenities or generous hospitality, this might not be the place for you. However, for a simple, functional stay and for the convenience of location, it fits the bill.

I arrived late one evening and was advised that I would incur an extra fee for paying by card, and that I also could only provide the security deposit in cash. Coming from a country that’s moved mostly to card payments, I wasn’t prepared and hotel staff took my passport as the deposit instead (the legality of which I’m not sure). I did find an ATM at the Esso petrol station eventually and all was sorted. The room was small which wasn’t an issue, although the bed was too short for me and there was only a skylight in the room. Other guests were quite noisy during my stay but I do give a big plus to how close it was to the Caltex bus stop, 7 Eleven and Hawker food stalls right at the front door. I felt safe the whole time during my stay as a solo traveller which is the most important thing overall.

Located in very convenient place. Few meters to bus stop and easy to reach bedok bua station /MRT where u can take bus or train to anywhere in the city.
Clean place. Sarrounded by restaurant and bars. Friendly staff.
Rooms are tiny but worth for the money comparing to other places.

The service was so warm that Adeline and housekeeper took my heavy luggage up there when I first arrived, and they also called me to make sure the computer inside was really thrown away when I took out the trash I am very grateful to them for their care, including taking out the AirPods inside my clothes when writing them. They were also very timely when there were mosquitoes in the room that needed to be repelled, and gave me a wonderful stay experience. At the same time, the hotel itself is the same as his name, and air conditioning and hot water are available to let me sleep very soundly. The hotel is in a good location with lots of good food around, cheap prices and convenient transportation.

So i stayed there with my family for two nights. It was onr of my worst experiences in hotels. I stayed just to sleep.when we got in it was very clean. One of the biggest downsides is the the rooms we had had no windows, so no air flow and that's very unhealthy and smelly. The beds then were quite uncomfortable and my feet were out of the bed when i am 174cm height. The air-conditioning was working however i could not change the temperature so if i had it open got too long it was cold, if it was closed it was too hot. The room wasn't even touched in cleaning for the second day, no one came to make beds or change towels or throw trash.
There was no fridge inside or hair dryer also.
The area was quiet with food nere by, but it was difficult to find taxi. The lady there ok, was helpful. The prices of the services they ask to stay longer or come earlier were absolutely ridiculous.

We landed in Singapore on the evening of Wednesday 19 October 2022 and our pre-booked hotel was a disgusting place in Geylang, which we now know is the red light area in Singapore. We left that hotel after ten minutes (not even unpacking our bags) and booked The Snooze Hotel via a well known hotel room website on my phone. We checked out on 27 October 2022.
The Snooze Hotel is in a nice area of Singapore. The reception staff are wonderful and really helpful. The hotel room was spotlessly clean with fresh painted walls and quite new furniture. The bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) was spotless and quite new also.
The hotel is located on East Coast Road. There are many buses along this road. If you catch the no. 10 or 32 and ride the bus a few stops down you can get the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), what Singaporeans call the Tube, at Dakota or Mountbatten stations. This is on the circle line and via this you can get to anywhere in Singapore.
You can buy a travel card (similar to a London Oyster Card) at the 7/11 shop next door plus one and you can also top up your card at the 7/11. It costs 5 SG Dollars to buy the card and we put 35 SG Dollars on each of our cards which lasted us a week with a bit of credit still on. The public transport in Singapore is excellent and you can pretty much get anywhere. We went all over Singapore i.e. Sentosa Island, Kranji War Cemetery.
Hotels in Singapore are not cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. We found that out to our cost by booking our original hotel.
The Snooze Hotel is very nice. The cleaning staff work hard and keep the place spotless. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are are tiny with no windows. Our key to our room stopped working, multiple times, they "fixed it" and we went to Universal Studios. When we got back, our cards didn't work again. They moved us to another room but took until 9pm to be able to get our stuff from our room to move to the next one. Their whole solution to the issue was "you can check out at 2p indtead of 11a. Our flight left at 11a so they just responded with." oh, OK sorry" and nothing else. We also borrowed a charger adapter for our phones and they wouldn't take it back, instead charged us $5 for it which was just another failure and lack of customer service by this hotel. They didn't care about us, they didn't care about our stuff, and seemed very inconvenienced by the problems we were having. I will never stay here again or recommend anyone do the same.

Coming from transit to London at 3Am to have nice good sleep but I didn’t know I would have a nightmare even before closing my eyes: I booked online with 80$ but once arrived I was asked to pay 96$ cause tax was not included. Also, I was asked to check out at 8Am caz this is the hotel T&C. I didn’t argue since I was very tired and just a nap. Getting to the room and it was a shamble. It was dirty smelly and broken table. The AC did not work and was very hot. Fairly, this is one of the worst hotel I have been

We made a huge mistake coming here. It’s horrible. The woman at reception was abrupt and unfriendly. Tiny room, 12 square metres. Noisy and very old. It was a total ripoff. We paid far too much. Go elsewhere. Hopefully we won’t make the same mistake again.

Very comfortable bed and pillow, decor very dated including bathroom. Shower was excellent though and the AC is super.
Reception is tiny and in a different building to our room but only 100mtr away if even. Our room was very small but as it was a short visit it was fine. It’s quite a bit out from the city centre but excellent public transport very close.
