My sister, her friend and I visited Singapore for the first time last week and we decided to stay here in this hotel. Actually I have no issue about our whole stay here except maybe for the heater not working properly. The hotel staff is responsive, everytime we'd go outside to explore the streets, we'd come back to our room looking clean and renewed. The price is just right for the provided services and amenities.

I'd probably stay here again the next time I'll visit your beautiful country. Every establishment is accessible, plus it is located just the opposite of the Mustafa Centre.

Perfect for people who prefers to walk going to their destinations.

Stayed in this property for 2 nights while coming back from Australia. The rooms are smaller but were very clean and tidy. Aircon was working fine, they provide you coffee maker inside the room. Here is a self service concept hence do not expect them to pick your luggage fill water bottles etc. But on a positive note you will have a nice sleep. The location is great just need to cross road to enter Mustaffa center - the only 24 hr shopping mall of Singapore. Nearby many dinning options as per your taste and budget. With family or couple I believe the rooms are smaller and may not be ideal but for a single traveler this is just fine. And off course the price tag of rooms were quite attractive. The Bathroom is clean but too small no proper area for bathing hence may be bit inconvenient.

We took 2 single rooms for 5 nights. The room has no windows.

The rooms and bathroom are very very small, its basically like a grave, but for the price you pay, this is you will get. The sad part is that the walls have molds. A little renovation would help a lot.

The Staff at the reception is friendly, but no check in before 2pm. The housekeeping staff is very rude, Please bring your own towels as the cleaning staff mops the floor and the wash basin with the blue towel which is in the bathroom.

I would only recommend this place for a solo budget traveller, if you are coming with your family then its better to find another place. My suggestion to the hotel owners would be that a little renovation and painting of the rooms would help a lot.

Water seepage, mould on the ceiling, no windows and the room totally without ventilation. Avoid Room 303 at all costs! And their front desk personnel is such a pain! They don't know services. And challenges the persons making payment. At best they are rude because they think people are at their mercy for needing a room there. At worse they are glorified clerks who speaks English but knows nothing of the service industry. These are people who cant find jobs in any industry except for such a low budget business. There are some places that you only put your worse enemies into. I totally regret paying the deposit and have to follow thru paying for my staff to stay there for a month.

The hotel looks absolutely different from the pictures. The condition of the room was very bad. The room is really tiny. The bed sheets were really dirty. I had to buy a new bed sheet to put it on the bed. The toilet was horrible. There were some cockroaches.

There was a lot of noise from the rooms next to me. I couldn't sleep all night. They stayed up until 4 a.m. They were really noisy. I can hear all their conversations and I can even hear them snoring when they sleep. Overall, it was a horrible experience for a few days, and the last night I couldn't stay. I had to go to the airport and spend my last night there, sleeping at the airport.

This is one of the worst budget hotel I've ever stayed. This hotel doesn't even deserved to be rated as 2 stars. Pictures speak for itself. Bring ur $$ elsewhere. There are even better budget hotels around little India Singapore. This is a filthy, unhealthy down right disgusting property.

Arrived at the hotel at 2PM for my stay on Thursday, October 13th. Presented my name. The front desk agent looked me up and said, "sir we weren't able to authorize your credit card and cancelled your reservation". I shrugged and said, "here you go" and presented my credit card.

The front desk agent laughed and said "hold on" and called someone secretly to discuss my reservation. He says, "sorry, we couldn't authorize your card so we cancelled your reservation. We sent you an e-mail."

I advised him that I had been traveling and couldn't have checked my e-mail. I asked him, "would you check your e-mail if you were on a plane this morning?" Again, he laughed and proceeded to recommend other hotels in the area. He precisely knocked his own hotel by saying, "These places are much better-- not like this at all. You wouldn't like this place anyway."

His sarcasm was lost on me. I insisted he go ahead and give me a room. He again insisted he sent an e-mail as if that eliminates any responsibility. He again declined to give me a room. When I asked for the manager or a General Manager he refused to provide it. I had to insist and he wrote the name "Jerome" on the card and informed me that there was nobody else there.

I continued to stand there and expect a solution. This is when he made his admission-- "Sir we are oversold by 1 room tonight which is why I can't give you a room." That is what actually happened -- they oversold the hotel and instead of walking me to another property, he decided to cancel my confirmed booking. I advised him he should still provide me a room and anticipate no-shows since my reservation is confirmed. He again declined.

I did some research and later found out that my card company may decline a charge if they don't swipe the card. This is done as a security measure. Because the hotel attempted to pre-authorize my card before I presented the card, the charge declined. It wasn't a failure to pay. I hadn't even arrived yet.

So, I checked my e-mail last night assuming I'd find this e-mail which the front desk agent said was sent to me. Was there an e-mail? Nope. In fact, I took a screen shot of my confirmed reservation still active as of 5PM that day. They lied.

Watch out - this hotel does not know how to manage their inventory and will oversell and attempt to deny you a room. It cost me a lot of time and headaches having to seek alternative accommodations because of their failure to properly handle the situation.

"Jerome" and his team don't know how to manage hotel room inventory and rather than accepting responsibility, they leave you on the street and laugh.

Stay away.

The hotel staff is courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean and hygienic and room service makes up your room everyday. The bad part is that rooms are very small but being economical in an expensive city like Singapore, its not that bad. It's right opposite Mustafa Center which is 24hr superstore hence gives a special midnight shopping experience. We used stroll at 2 or 3 at night to the store and its always bustling with shoppers. This is in Little India so you have food places offering Indian and other Asian cuisines open till wee hours. Overall a decent experience if you are considering a budget hotel in this range...................................................................................................................................................................................
