This was our temporary accom following the sale of our house and before our flight to Australia to start our new adventure. It was like a home away from home, with comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, washer and dryer, laundry rack. Love love love the pool! It was huge, my kids loved it. Love that they had bbq pits for us to book, and sufficient pool lounge seats and tables for family poolside gatherings. Easy access to the malls through a side gate so we could buy our groceries and food easily, including a pair of goggles 🤣. Village Residence Hougang is truly a hidden gem. Service was top notched, they changed our airport transfer to a bigger vehicle when we explained the huge number of luggage we had at no additional cost. And Vijay turned up early (6.30am) when their office only opens at 9am, to make sure we got our airport transfer on time. Excellent stay and highly recommend to others. Will definitely come back here when we return to SG. 😁…

We are booked into this serviced apartment on 12 March 2022 while waiting for the keys to my apartment. Many Singaporeans didn't know there's a serviced apartment in the outskirt of Singapore! I chose this property because we could switched off the AC and open the windows as my mom has medical condition that she couldn't enjoy the luxury of cooler temperature. Second, the management is very accommodating and flexible, they permits the setting up of a medical bed in the living area. Third, there's a small mall Hougang 1 is just next door to run errands. The 2-bedroom apartment is spacious to accommodate a medical bed in the living area after rearranging the furnitures and still have space to move a wheelchair and commode around the apartment! The 2 bedrooms are very clean, neat and spacious. There is no hook behind the bathroom doors to hang clothes. Kitchen are fully equipped with microwave, pots and pans, fridge, stove etc. On the first day of check-in, we had a little problem using the microwave when clicking any of the buttons didn't work but it work fine after fee tries. A washing machine and dryer are tucked in the service yard. The staff at Village Residence Hougang are very helpful. Checking in on a Sunday was a breeze and a security staff helped with my check-in quickly before my mover arrived with my mom's medical bed. Check-in iwas completed in 5 minutes! There's a side gate to access to the main road, bus-stops and Hougang 1 instead of going to B1 car park. You'll need your apartment access card to open the gate. The side gate is on the left of the lobby, walk passed the residence multi-storey car park. Generally we are having an enjoyable stay at Village Residence Hougang. It's amazing that even with all the AC switched off, the whole apartment stays quite cooling at night. However, I wished there are more Chinese language starhub channels to choose for Chinese speaking guests. Currently, there is only one mandarin starhub channel Entertainment City 825. Today 22 Mar it was a pleasant surprise to have a male housekeeper to clean up the apartment. David is not your usual housekeeping team as he is scheduled to assist today as the main housekeeper is on home leave after 3 years since Covid. we also met Housekeeping supervisor Sarah who pops in to check if everything is alright. David is very detailed in cleaning the apartment, he cleans, vacuum and mop better than my own helper!! Even my helper is impressed! David will vacuum the corners, under the sofas, got onto his knees to vacuum the dining table and even lift up our shoes to vacuum and mop the floor!! He also vacuum with care without creating noise of banging the vacuum cleaner against the furnitures. I've highlighted to Sarah the Housekeeping supervisor if she could feedback to the management to install a hook behind the bathroom door so that there is a place to hang our clean clothes and dirty ones during shower time. To my surprise, Sarah and David came back knocking at our door less than 30 minutes with a fruit basket and 2 clothes hooks!!! Now we are able to hang our clothes behind the door rather than on the door knob!! Thank you Sarah and David for the amicable service!! P…

I stayed here with my husband and 2 girls aged 11 & 9. It is a great place to stay. Well equiped with facilities such as pool, gym, sauna, tennis court and bbq. Cleanliness is superb. Staff are top notch especially Sarah, Surayah, Renu and Vijay. It's also very convenient. As there is a supermarket below, food court, Mcd, KFC, a convenience store and the bus stop as well.

The rooms are very nice and spacious, The cleaning service does a fantastic job, Renu one of the members at the residence is always cheerful and pleasant to talk and does her very well, it’s a great place stay that makes you feel at home, the office staff are extremely friendly and helpful to assist you where you want or need to go and anything you need for your stay.

We love the stay there. Our family meet after 3 long years of covid. The place is extremely near to very big supermarket and food court, it is literally less than 5 min walk. Truly convenience for foodies like us. Furthermore, swimming pool is not crowded and can fully enjoy with own family. One of the most memorable and heartwarming experience is that we forgot our iPad there. But thankfully all the staffs have assisted to get back my mum iPad without any hustles. I think this type of help and service will not possible in many other places. Overall, I will highly recommend this place for those who love the larger space and explore different part of Singapore.
