This is an absolutely horrible experience. One of the worst hotel stay experiences. There are so many issues but let me articulate three major set backs. First, the hotel staff demonstrated extremely poor service. When I walked up to the lobby check in counter, the staff was continuing to text on her phone and talking to me without even looking up. On the next day, when I came back to pick up my luggage that I had left, the staff asked me to go into the storage room and find my own bag! Second, the bathroom was extremely dirty. I could see the yellow urine stain on the toilet from the previous guest. Very disgusting. Third, the room size was extremely small. It was so small that the bathroom sink was located outside of the bathroom, literally right near the bed! All in all this was one of my worst experiences of any hotel stays anywhere in the world. I strongly recommend any one to NOT stay here.…
Stayed here in May 2021 in the midst of Covid. Despite the busy day, the front office staff Shafiq never fail to cheer our day up with his friendly persona and even offered us late check out. His attention to detail is a plus point. Breakfast was delicious though it was done in a takeaway mode. Will be looking forward to our stay here real soon!
The hotel is in a great location at Robertson Quay and handy for the MRT at Great World. The staff were lovely and I got a late check out free to 2pm. The reason I gave 3 stars is because there were 2 things I wasn't happy with so I deducted a star for each. The room was tiny. More like a pod. I'd booked a double room and got the old twin beds pushed together job. This annoys me intensely. The sink was in the bedroom and it was just so so small. I had stayed in another hotel the weekend before and I could have fitted my pod here 3 times into the other hotels room. The second thing was that on my first night I was heading out and I was propositioned by prostitutes at the front door and when I rejected their advances one of them got abusive. I just walked away as I didn't want the hassle. Lack of security and the front desk staff at night were just kids. I know the hotel cannot be responsible for who hangs about out the front of their hotel but they need to beef up security …
Great service when I arrived. Planned to leave my luggages (brought plenty of stuff) and find somewhere to snooze a little since I arrived earlier than the 3pm check-in time, but staff offered an early check-in instead to make my life easier. Thanks Zleena! Promised to leave you a review so here it is! Will deffo come back again when I’m back in town
Excellent service! Very kind staff, great check- in experience, they even let me in before the check in time which was awesome. Rooms and beds comfy. This was my 2nd time here and can’t wait to come back again next time I’m in Singapore - highly recommend!
We recently stayed four nights at the M Social (M for Millennium?) with two other couples. The M is well located at Robertson Quay, with many cafes, restaurants and bars located within easy walking distance along the river. The Havelock MRT station is a five minute walk away, and the MRT is by far the best and cheapest way to get around Singapore. We never waited more than 5 minutes for a train, everything is clean and so efficient. We bought an MRT pass at the airport and loaded $50 onto it. In our four days we would have caught 20-30 trains, and at the end we still had $35 left on our passes, which was refunded at the airport on the way out of Singapore. There is also a nice bar and restaurant located within the hotel, which is also the breakfast area. The buffet breakfast was plentiful ($30 p/p), drinks the same price as the nearby bars. Speaking of food and drinks, Singapore has become so expensive to eat out, especially for us Aussies, now that the Singapore dollar is so strong. For example, a bottle of Oyster Bay sav blanc, which we buy at home for around $15, was selling in one bar at $22 AUD a glass, or $88 AUD a bottle. Beers were generally around $15 a schooner, mixed drinks about the same, cocktails $20 to $25 each. Not to mention the $50 AUD Singapore Sling at Raffles! We did find some cheap eats in Chinatown and Little India, but generally speaking be prepared to pay almost double for any food and drinks. We were accommodated in loft rooms, which have a loft containing a sofa and a TV, and not much else. The room itself is very small, and only fits a double bed. There is not much space for luggage, we ended dragging our bags up into the loft to create space in our tiny room. That said, everything was clean and modern, and the bathroom is quite roomy (although not big enough for a basin, which is outside the bathroom). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when our flight home (thanks Qantas!) was cancelled. All in all a pleasant stay was had by all.…
Made a last minute booking as I saw M Social instagram and the rooms look really cool so we wanted to try it out. Check in was a breeze with Hazirah. She was so nice to even send up our grabfood using their robot. Yes! They have a legit robot sending up things guys. We would have tried the bear brick but had other plans. We would definitely come back just to attend the workshop. Ambience is good, hotel is located by the river. Overall is a 10 hahaha! My girlfriend loves this hotel :)
Smart, well maintained hotel located in peaceful part of Singapore equipped with a gym and swimming pool with a view. Very friendly and professional staff. What's more delicious breakfast offering variety of options with coffee bao being my favourite.
Check in with Cammy and Hazirah was smooth. They were engaging with us throughout and immediately it felt like home. Room was cosy and the view at the level 10 was truly amazing! All thanks to the front desk for catering to our request. We had a hard time opening the door though but Hazirah was so nice to follow us all the way up and guided us on the process. We could feel her sincerity assisting my partner and I during our stay. Definitely coming back again,
We left a request for a decoration in the room as we were at M Social for our honeymoon and did not expect for them to prepare us chocolates and welcome card on the bed! Truly a touch! Staffs at the front desk was friendly especially the supervisor on shift, Hazirah. She was so attentive and was rendering assistance to her colleagues during the busy period and still managed to put on a smile. We had approached her for restaurants recommendations and she gave us the BEST!! Transportation was easy to book using the tablet provided however quite difficult to find a taxi but Hazirah went the extra mile to find us a taxi at multiple apps 😅 We appreciate her hospitality and assistance given to us during our stay. Will definitely come back again!
