We arrived in cebu after a 6-hr travel with a terrible headache and catched a taxi asking the driver to accompany us to a nearest hotel for I needed a bed badly. The taxi driver dropped us to this hotel and our first impression was really very good. A new, clean and cheap hotel. After checking in I and my husband went flat to bed for tiredness. We liked the room, very clean and well maintained. We thought to stay here again for our next travel but unfortunately during our checkout they made us paid extra for a towel I used. I work in a hotel abroad and also been travelling and stayed to different hotels and this was my first time being asked for an extra payment for having stained the towel with foundation. That was really crazy! It was not for the money itself because it was just less than €2. What we were disapppointed was that they offer you towels to use but it seemed like you should not use them otherwise you'll have to pay extra for the laundry. So what were those towels for? Only for decoration? What if we also stained the bedsheets? Another extra payment? Be careful with this hotel. THEY ARE DISHONEST!!! If you want to stay here try not using their towels and sleep over the blanket without touching bedsheets otherwise they will add something to your bill for using them! WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! NEVER!

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. It has a great location as it is just a walking distance from the famous Larsian, malls, hospital and crown regency. It is also easy to get a taxi from here. The taxi rate ranges from 70-80php going to Ayala, SM or fort san pedro.

The room we stayed in is spacious enough clean. It also smells nice. I found the bed comfortable so i had a really good sleep in this hotel. The cr is not that big but it is also clean. There was also a good wifi connection in our room.

The service was good. When we were booking this room, they replied as soon as they can to our inquiries. The staffs are also very accomodating but not that warm or friendly to the guests. Maybe they should smile more?

All in all, I had a great stay in this place. It's very affordable for such a nice hotel. I would stay here again if ever i go back in cebu city.

Upon checked in to this hotel me and my cousins were greeted with the unfriendliest, most unwelcoming front desk personel i've ever meet. My cousin requested to have their room cleaned and the room service crew acted very rude.

Adelfa Hotel is ideally located in the City center which is pretty much close to anything you might need. It's just a 3-minute walk to Larsian and 5-minute walk to Fuenta Osmeña Circle.

The beds and pillows are comfortable enough. The shower room has a decent size and the room in general is very clean.

The downside probably is just the parking as there is no enough parking space. Nevertheless, I will consider staying here again when I get back to Cebu.

the hotel is near fuente circle, just at the back of chonghua hospital. 1 block away from robinsons cybergate where lots of restaurants are situated. the rooms are modern, comfy and well maintained. the CR although not that big, is clean. toiletries, towels, are provided. cold aircon, rooms are adequately sized. with elevator. there is a small canteen beside the hotel where you can have breakfast. a great hotel for its price.

W/ Hot and cold shower. Nice and clean bathrooms, average but comfortable beds. Complete cable tv, reliable internet access even inside their rooms and relatively quiet place for resting.
All they need to do is replace their thin pillows.

I had and appointment at chong hua medical arts and anticipated that it might took a day or two for the lab tests. And it was. Two nights before the appointment, i started to search for hotels/pension houses nearest to the area. Adelfa is the nearest but when i called, it was fully booked. The night before my trip, i was hopeful there could be one room for me. And it did. I had a reservation through phone using their globe cellphone number. It was fot two single beds for 990 per night.
The next day, we arrived at cebu around 6am. From pier 1 to adelfa hotel, we paid 82 pesos for the taxi. There were no rooms available and we just had to leave our bags and went straight to the hospital. Around 10am, they texted us and informed that the room was available.
After check up, we just had lunch at our room.
The room spacious for two persons. It was cleaned. It did not have a bad smell.though the comfort room is a bit small especially for huge persons.there were two soaps and shampoo sachets and hot and cold shower. Wifi is excellent. Electric water heater, two cups and glasses. Air conditioned room and it worked okay. A cabinet, flat screened cable television. I only had a problem in the noise beside our room, i think it was storage room and created noises whenever they were employees working inside room. I think their things banged to the sides/wall due coz its too small, probably.
Bdw,its very near to robinsons mall.

The hotel is located just behind Osmena Circle right in the middle of Cebu.

It was well decorated and everything worked well. The room was a sensible size and we got three people in the triple quite comfortably for a weekend. For a hotel like this the price was about correct at php 1400 a night. Our air con was a bit noisy but overall the room was away from the street noise.

There was no breakfast, they have a small coffee shop which basically serves Filipino dishes of rice plus a topping. We didn't try it out though.

Staff were helpful, the security guards on the door flagged down a few taxis for us and assisted with the haggling over the price! Reception were also helpful. Just a note, they did ask for a php 1000 cash deposit as a security for 'incidental costs'. This was a first for me in the philippines. there was no a problem getting it back after the room was checked, you just need to have some money on hand!

So overall very reasonable and a sensible choice for Central cebu.

My friends and I stayed at Adelfa Hotel for SInulog 2014 (Jan 17-20, 2014). If the adage of "location, location, location!" is true, then this hotel's got it in spades. Adelfa is within easy walking distance of Fuente Osmena circle, Robinsons Cybergate Cebu, Robinsons Fuente, a Watsons, a grocery store, Chong Hua hospital, Larsian BBQ, and many other places. Proximity is a must during Sinulog, where the streets are so clogged with people that cars can't pass through.

Service is also pretty great; the staff are quite accommodating. They make up your room upon request and even give you free bottled water (1x a day), a free Sinulog shirt, and pasalubong (dried mangoes and otap). This is probably exclusive to Sinulog weekend though.

The hotel is new--it opened around 2012--so it's still well-maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit on the Spartan side, but decent nonetheless. At least there's none of that "shared shower and toilet space".

All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay at Adelfa and will definitely be back for more next year.
