I tried your waterfall adventure and I have couple of questions:
1) why the water is so dirty?
2) why the waterfall small and miserabel?
3) why to get to the waterfall take an hour of torture and back braking pain? and also I got hited with the leaves on the way?
4) why you don't make more convenient road?
5) why your gide can't speak English at all?
6) why you have just one place to eat with only for dishes extrimley small and disgusting for 175 peso;
7) why your swumming pool is so dirty?
8) and why you call youself adventure park instead of SHEET HAPPENS PARK
thank you for back/head pain and the worsest day of my life

im 29 years old, and enjoyed lots of other places in the philippines such as tagaytY and bohol
you simply suck!

You'll enjoy the rides and the adventures (i.e ATV, wakeboarding, waterfall trekking etc); they need to shape up however on their service especially with their in-house restaurant. Regardless if you order in advance or not you will have to wait for over an hour before you get to eat. Since there is only one restaurant and we don't really have much choices; they need to find a way to serve their hungry customers efficiently and timely.

We went there as it was recommended by our hotel but it was a waste of an entire day. The staff is really nice but the equipment is a century old. The ATVs stopped atleast 5 Tim's, the trail was horrible and really a waste. Stay away

Called in the morning stating we would stay overnight and asked for a room. The lady on the other line booked us in, took my name and told me the pricing. I confirmed it and said we would be there in 4 hours. Just to make sure, I also message them on their messenger. I got sent the package and was replied to my several questions. So we did the 3 hour drive. When we arrived, the receptionist and the staff there (who were very hospitable and nice) told us there was reservation booked. So she called the main office (who I had ended up talking to). The lady I had talked on the phone with must have not communicated my reservation with the Eco Park, seeing as she started denying that I had ever called for a booking and saying that I had called a different place for a booking. Of course I showed the receptionist all the messages we had sent each other and the phone calls that took place. But because it happened on a Monday, and the Eco Park had no idea we were coming, there was nothing set up. No gas for the ATV, which we wanted to do, and a brown out had occurred. So no electricity, no back up generator. Pitch black if we stayed the night. So, after all that, driving needlessly for 3 hours, and night time approaching, we decided to leave. I'm very disappointed with who I had talked with, denying the fact that our conversation about the booking did not happen. But I thank the staff of Eco Lodge for trying to do something for us and being very welcoming even with the brown out. For all who read this, if you want to go on a weekday Monday thru Thursday, book ahead. And confirm the booking. And if you can, record that conversation.

the Place was toooo far. no network connection.
The "kawayan" room is highly not preferable for a room accommodation, no wonder it doesn't have pictures on there website. the room or the "kubo" is stuffy. We stayed in a different room, it was air conditioned, the walls have cracks on them.

Tried there activities. one of which is the ATV. they where ok. we manage to at least have fun.. safely gear like the knee pads and elbow pads where dirty, some are muddy. couldn't find a cleaner or at least cleaner looking. looks like they haven't them for a long time. the ATV seats are broken. it can easily be detach, some of them were also chipped.

Was not able to use there pool. it was closed early. they said the pool closed at 10pm. when we got there at 8pm (after taking out dinner) it was already close).
there staff lacks coordination.

The Dispatch Area -- this area is where guests waits for there guide for there activities..while we were waiting, I notice there were so many tiny "wooly bear caterpillar" hanging. eeekk!!

Limited choices from the menu at the resto because most of them are unavailable.

So these were SOME our experiences from this short vacay. we end up staying for 1 night instead of 2 nights. It was just very disappointing.

I hope this was helpful. I can share more later...

Where should I start ? 40 € room with a terrible humidity smell and cracked walls. First day no hot water and no working TV. No WiFi in the rooms and it wasn't working either in the lobby. Very bad food and almost nothing to choose from. At lunch fried or curry chicken with rice. Basically only Filipino food. The pool had dirty water and the entire park is very remote so you need between 2-3 hours to get there. Tried the ATV but they are in very poor condition. I'm sorry to give a bad review but genuinely I think that you can do better

Entrance fee is cheap. There were different levels of pools. Deepest pool is 6ft. They dont charge corkage for food bought outside. If you are adventurous enough, you can trek along the river nearby. Its worth a try!

Most of the things they offer here can be found in other destinations that are not as far and remote. The accommodations are okay. It's a good thing they have a cave and waterfalls as without these two, everything would be ordinary.

We decided to go to Danasan Eco Park early one morning spur of the moment, and even though we called them and texted with them the people who checked us in were not expecting us. It seemed like a group of 4 Koreans were the only other guests at the time. You are given a list of things to do which includes quite a selection of exciting items such as wake boarding and canyoneering, so we decided to start off with the zip-line and horse back tour while we decided what else to do...this consisted of waiting for staff to get zip-line equipment set up, zipping down to platform for 60 seconds or so, waiting for staff to unset up zip-line equipment, get on horses to be hand led up a trail that was at least 50% along a road that was under construction complete with concrete getting poured...while the staff on a horse with t-shirt marked "guide" carried the zip-line equipment back to starting point...
That was it for us, back in the cab and off we went...if something simple like that was so poorly handled I did not even want to experience the more difficult tours.

Now a bit about getting there...
1. This is quite a drive from Cebu City, we opted to hire a car (1500p one way) to get us to Danao and then take the suggested habalhabal (motorbike ride) to the park and were going to take the bus back to Cebu afterward.
2. They do offer shuttles both from Cebu city and Danao, I would suggest using them, at least they can't say they didn't know you were coming. Our schedule prevented that.
3. Lucky for us our driver said he had never been there and would like to go see it. This would obviously cost us more but ended up being the best choice we made all day. ( I ended up giving the driver 5000p for salvaging what could have been a disastrous day.)
4. Pay close attention to the 26km road leading to park from Danao, I ride motorbikes all over the Philippines but this would not be a ride that I would want to be on the back of with someone I don't know driving....we never did find out the cost for this.

I imagine if we had a larger group and had made advance reservations this may have gone off entirely different. But having been in the tourism business for over 25 years, the number one rule for your customer service depends on treating 2 people with the same enthusiasm you treat a group of 25 or you may never get the groups of 25 because the group of 2 was scouting your service.

I don't like writing bad reviews or extra long ones but in this case I did.

For the adventures and things to do... u definitely cant do all of them in a day. Great place for outings and team buildings. Also nice place to stay. Not too expensive... rooms are ok. Hard to get there... but well worth it.

As for the food... well... service is really bad and slow. But for the rest... its all good.

Now for cellphone signal... well... youll definitely get a vacation from work.hehehe
