We LOVED this hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious, and colorful! The lobby, cafe and restaurant were also clean and nicely decorated.
With other Beach hotels or hotels with swimming pools, the hallways are normally wet, dirty, and sandy by the end of the day. But this is definitely not the case with Astoria Current! You will see staff constantly mopping and cleaning the hallways in all levels so it’s always CLEAN!
They also have 2 big and clean pools that my daughter loved so much! The water was a tad bit cold for me but my daughter was fine with it. A heated pool would be nice for the oldies!
This hotel is at station 3 so The beach area in front of the hotel was not crowded. However, The water was not as shallow as that in station 1 were little kids can walk in the water for several meters without it getting too deep. Initially, the beach is a little rocky but as you move a few feet forward into the water, you’ll have the same fine and soft powedery sand that Boracay is known for.
I also liked that the hotel provided air drying services for free so your room won’t be crowded and smelly with wet swimwear after a day of swimming. Staff will pick up and deliver your stuff for air drying from your room. All you have to do is call the front desk.
They also had a fire dance presentation in the evening during the weekend and they were awesome!
Lastly, the breakfast was great and offered a wide variety! I would also like give a special shoutout to the F&B staff especially Kuya Ollie and his staff for the great and friendly service we received during our stay! They anticipated our needs and were very accommodating with our requests! Best service we’ve experienced so far! Thank you!

We booked 3 rooms for a family of six. One of the rooms was upgraded to a Superior room at poolside with an early check in. We would like to thank Astoria Current for this wonderful gesture. I would also like to thank them for the complimentary birthday cake they gave my brother.
Good things: The hotel transfer service was great for a reasonable price. We were at the hotel within 20 minutes of stepping out of the airport.
The rooms were spacious and well appointed. I've read reviews where other guests complain about lack of privacy in the rooms due to the glass walls but we never had this problem during our stay. There are roll-down blinds on top of the sliding curtains to ensure our privacy.
They offer free drying service for swimsuits whereas other hotels would charge for this service.
I enjoyed working out at their gym. They have lots of different equipment available for a room that isn't that big.
A not so good thing: They need to improve on the food selection at the breakfast buffet. We had typical food you will find in a local eatery. On one occasion we had dilis and sauteed hotdogs and onions as the main dishes and on another day we had fried chicken and pancit. We don't have any problems with the taste but I was hoping to see some level up since this place is in the luxury category.
All things considered we would still give this resort a lukewarm 5 rating. The customer service was great from start to finish. I would like to commend the ates and kuyas at the front desk. Special mention to Kevin for being awesome.
I recommend this place for families and barkadas.

Our Boracay vacation was made memorable and safe because of the excellent hospitality of Astoria Current. Upon arrival at Tabon Port we were assisted by Astoria Staff Heryl and Never. Our boat transfer was a breeze. Upon arrival at the Boracay Port, 3 Astoria Van awaited for our arrival. No less than the desk manager sir Rodney was there to welcome us. He also oriented us along the way of the new normal in the island and in the hotel. In the hotel, we were welcomed with a drink and their specialty bibingka. Thermal scanning, foot bath, alcohol hand wash and face masks were a must and were available before entry to the hotel. The rooms were great, additional sanitizing kit were provided. Though there were limited choices of food, the food were great and the prices, we were able to suit it with our budget with their boodle meal and rice toppings. Over all we have an amazing and wonderful stay. We felt we were well taken cared of. Thank you, sir Rodney and Sir Butch, especially sir Ollie, your services are beyond our expectation. This is the perfect time to savor the beauty of Boracay... very clean and peaceful. I highly recommend Astoria Current, i will surely choose to stay here again.

Enjoyed our 4D/3N stay at this beautiful modern hotel. The room is nice, spacious and modern. Customer service is also superb. Staff makes time to chat and know their guests. The restaurant staff already remembered our customized food request (eggs, coffee). Hotel is clean. The housekeeping staff would clean our rooms twice a day with refill of toiletries and goodies. Recommending this hotel. Will definitely go back ☺️

The most commendable part of our stay here is the customer service. All staff members are friendly and approachable and they are quick to respond to our requests. Sometimes they even make the offer before we even think of needing something. The food is very appetizing and delicious and we really enjoyed buying the seafood in the market and having the hotel cook it for us. The rooms were spic and span when we arrived and we were briefed about some rules about maintaining the island COVID-free. It was overall a very memorable stay and everyone in my family enjoyed. We will surely return to visit for a longer time. Kudos again to the staff! ❤️

Astoria Vacation & Leisure Club, Incorporated (AVLCI) has always exceeded our expectations. And we were completely wowed with Astoria Current!
Right after stepping out of Caticlan Airport all the way to our last day in the hotel, it was nothing short of VIP treatment.
They offered free transfer, which was a very convenient way to get to and from the hotel/airport. They offered us welcome drinks and snacks, which were still available for us even on our 2nd and 3rd day.
The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly, especially the Parasol Café staff, Ate Rea and Big John, who chatted with us everytime we're by the cafe.
The room we got just left me speechless. It was 2 1-bedroom suite, combined to create an elegant complete home (1 bedroom with extra bed + living room + dining room + 2 sinks + 2 bathroom) for our 3-day stay. The hotel also has a very convenient location, and they offer great services and amenities, which will make your stay extra convenient and more enjoyable.
Overall, I would recommend Astoria Current for those who are looking for a luxurious getaway in Boracay.

The hotel was very modern and beautiful! The pool was the perfect size and I loved that it was right in the center. The hotel staff was very friendly, especially manager Ollie. We were a large group and he was very accommodating for us. He offered us unlimited drinks and karaoke. We had a blast at this hotel! We enjoyed the complementary refreshments any time of day. The Ube soft serve was delicous! The breakfast buffet offered a good variety. The rooms were very clean. Housekeeping was able to bring us water to our rooms whenever we needed it. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

We decided to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary here. Staffs are very approachable and accommodating. If your goal is to relax and unwind, this is the perfect location for you for the reason that station 1 and station 2 were always crowded. Swimming pool is always clean and rooms are sanitized which is a great assurance for us customers that they are doing their best to lessen covid19 contact.

Definitely a one of a kind experience. Travelling during this pandemic is definitely not easy, but the staff of Astoria Current helped make our trip smooth and relaxing.
Upon arrival at the Caticlan port, we were assisted by a staff of the hotel buy our tickets and present all the necessary documents needed. Upon arrival at the Boracay port, two staff of the hotel were waiting for us and helped us with our bags and assisted us to the van which was going to transport us from the port to the hotel. Inside the van, safety and health protocols were observed. Upon arrival at the hotel, safety and health protocols were observed as well, such as temperature checks, foot baths, hand sanitation, and all our bags were disinfected. After being disinfected, welcome drinks and delicious bibingka were given to us by the most accommodating, friendly, and warm hotel staff!
During our stay at Astoria Current, Olly made sure that we were taken care off and made sure that we were safe and comfortable. There were a lot of sanitation areas around the hotel, and it was a nice gesture that inside our rooms, health kits were included, such as alcohol and face masks which we can use for the duration of our trip.
The facility of Astoria Current was terrific, but what made our trip even more special was the warmth and care we received from the hotel staff. ❤️
