The villa offered exactly what it promised. An amazing, breath taking view to the aqua sea-sky. Big enough to accommodate two families of 3 each. Spacious bed rooms and living room. Comfortable bed. Bath tub was a bonus. Made full use of Balcony overlooking sea. We will consider coming back and staying here and would definitely recommend friends. Hotel also provide free shuttle to Dmall every 1 hr. They made superb arrangement with a cake, bouquet and flowers, as requested while booking.

The worst hotel ever!!! When i reached hotel they said no booking. Checked with the agent, the booking has been made.. They dont even allow us to stay n dont have any initiative to find other hotel for us.. I will not come to karuna again!!

Good: Stayed in El Nido Suite, enjoyed the sunrise every morning. Classy suite. Located the other side of the island, near Bulabog beach, which gave more privacy. Provide free shuttle once every hour until 12 midnight. Bad: Floor trap next to WC not functioning. Washing machine opening faulty. But doesn't really affect our stay there.

The apartment was very high standard and the whole design was excellent. We were 2 couple with one child at CEBU for 3 night and it was good but there is some small minor. The washing handle was broken so you needed a special plastic scrubber to open it. I have expected that a small thing had been change for this price. The staff was not prof and we found out the the cleaning boy damage a bowl and if we had not told it maybe we had been charge for that when we check out. We try to order breakfast one morning to 300 p. American but is US you dint serve bread like bread crumb so dint order that. My wife say that Filipino breakfast was ok

My wife and I booked 3 nights here and were excited to be going there because from the photos the property looks amazing. When we got there they brought us down the stairs to our 1 bedroom suite at the very bottom of the stairs it’s called the Cagayan suite . When we were brought into the suite it had a really strong smell of some sort of cleaner very overpowering we were like wow that’s strong and he said yes we just cleaned the room. We left the door open to let it air out . We went in and were like this is it? This is your luxury suite? We were jammed into a cubby hole at the bottom of the stairs where the room next to us had to walk through our tiny balcony and everyone going to the pool ( very small) walks by your balcony. There were no lounger chairs actually no chairs at all on our balcony my wife asked for them to bring us some they brought us 2 upright dinner chairs and no table I made them bring a table. As we sat there talking about why there was no chairs or table we noticed all these ants everywhere I mean they were everywhere there was a big pile of hair in the corner and this was outside on our shared with everyone balcony. We went in and sure enough ants all in our suite as well , looking around the room it looked and really felt dirty like a shag pad there were horrendous looking stains on the couch it grossed us out .my wife was like we are not staying here . I went up to talk to the front desk about another room they said no you can’t change rooms we are full I said ok we will stay for tonight but we want our money back for the other 2 nights he said we have a no refund policy was like really you call this a LUXURY SUITE I went downstairs and convinced my wife to stay I said let’s give it 1 night we left for dinner came back that cleaner smell was back ughhh did it stink we left the door open and had a bottle of wine . We got the wifi password and it worked for about 3 minutes then shut down I went back to the front desk he said oh that happens all the time I will give you a different one one that is way better I said cool went back downstairs it worked for about 2 minutes and kept going off line very frustrating anyway my wife got into bed she went to bed with her clothes on she said the bed felt kind of damp and had a mouldy smell to it I was like great luxury suite all right ! I sat on the couch on the opposite end of the stain the tv has great hi def . I went to bed this was the first time in 40 years that I slept with my t shirt and shorts on as the bed had a damp feeling to it we got up in the morning the I wanted to look for another hotel as this one was not cutting it for us and no wifi again very frustrating. My wife went to make coffee and no coffee I was like wow really no coffee??? Brutal .. looking around the kitchen there was salt and pepper shakers and no salt or pepper??? Went into the shower and only cheap tear open shampoo and conditioner only 1 though. I went up to the front desk got the wifi going again and booked a room at Monaco which Is a lot more expensive but after a night like that well deserved. I would not recommend this place I was told there are a bunch of different owners that own suites there and some take care of theirs better than others like Will I would rent one of his but not through laboy they don’t seem to give a dam I paid for 3 nights and left first thing in the morning on our first night. Save the headache and go somewhere else.now we are staying at the fairways and Bluewater and it’s cheap and absolutely gorgeous look into this place for sure I hope this helps someone out there as I have told only our experience.…

We had a large group stay at Karuna, and we had a fantastic time. The rooms were beautiful, the location was a quick shuttle from the White Beach (although the traffic was unexpectedly high getting there). While I can only speak for the villa we stayed at, I can say that the staff worked very hard to help make our stay fun and comfortable. They were highly professional and kind, and were always willing to help us - some of the best service I've ever encountered. Things to consider: There are roosters that made noise very early in the morning, but it wasn't as bad as I thought, and didn't interrupt my sleep. There were also issues with the wifi, but generally there was connectivity throughout the villa.

Location a bit far from the tourist spots (like station 1,2 & 3) but the villa is very nice and it’s very peaceful. They also have an hourly shuttle which is quite convenient which will stop at dmall where you can go to station 1,2 & 3 easily.

Spacious room with spectacular view of the beach. A little far from station 2 since its located at the opposite side. Shuttle arrives every 1 hr or more. When we first arrived, the smell of the room seemed like it has not been used for so long. Great for family or group.

I strongly recommend staying at this hotel if you are travelling with a group of friends and want to have a nice apartment to chill and have a good time after a day at the beach. Staff is friendly and will help with any request you might have.

"The hotel apartment was perfect accommodation for our 2 week stay in Boracay. The apartment was extremely spacious and clean. Super fast "Private Internet" And the view from our terrace/balcony was breathtaking. Trike's and free shuttle every hour took us down town. There was a supermarket where the shuttle stopped. The kitchen was well equipped and the staff were super friendly." And a very special shoutout to our butler "Jerome" our HERO! Love you kuya! Thanks for keeping our room clean and neat while we were out! Karuna Hotel is were you want to stay if you're not into the nightlife and part life here. This is a tranquil place for peace of mind.
