We stayed here last January 18-21 with friends and had a total of four rooms. We had two standard rooms (with one double bed) and two superior rooms (with two twin beds). We got the superior rooms for they didn’t have any available standard rooms anymore, but paid the same for we booked this already prior to the arrival. It is a walking distance to the beach. The street next to the building where the hotel is leads you directly to the beach. Now, we paid for 1,800+ per night for two with breakfast while there was an advertisment outside the hotel which states: 600+php for one person per night with a minimum of two persons with breakfast in one room. So like a total of 1200-1300php. I don’t really know what happened with that. But I never really asked anyway, just noticed the signs. So, I’ll leave it right there. The bathroom was fine. It was old but it was okay. It was clean as well. The toiletries on the otherhand were really old that the white packaging were already turning brown. All rooms got terraces which is great for smokers. And it was just a nice nook to chill with friends. The breakfast was alright. But it took way to long to be brought to our table. We waited for almost an hour until our food was served on the table. And I strongly recomend that they check or replace their beds. My partner got bitten by probably a little cockroach or bed bugs for his foot got swolen. Wasn’t happy with that. Overall, I had an okay stay. I would say that I wouldn’t come back to this place though. I am kind of disappointed about the bed bugs or whatever it was. If they have new beds of so, maybe I’ll give it another shot. Maybe.

What a regretful choice. Where do I begin with this ”hotel”. Check-in is meant to be 2pm. We arrived 15minutes early so was happy to wait. They said they just need to clean our room then we can go in. 3pm and still heard nothing, so we enquired if our room is ready, we were told they have 3 more rooms to go then they’ll reach ours. Why wouldn’t they just clean our room first before the others when they know we’re (the only ones) waiting around for our room to be ready. We finally got access at 4pm. Once you enter the room it gets worse: There are holes in the towels, that’s if they even remember to give you towels after cleaning your room, they forgot 2 out of 4 times, when we told them the first time, we got given towels on the spot with no apology, and the second time we were told we weren’t given any because they have no towels left. The fridge, which was plugged in, didn’t work at all, same goes for the in-room phone. Wifi worked when it pleased. The room was so dark because half the roof lights didn’t work, we told them about this and they said they would check it, but never did. Cleaning staff muck about gazing at themself in the mirror rather than actually clean (we caught them in the act returning to our room) and are not at all friendly. There is no lift and you get absolutely no assistance with your bags, we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs, dodging the missing tiles in the floor. The bathroom smelt disgusting, like fresh sewage, for the whole stay. We booked and paid online, upon arriving we find out that we paid 5 times the price that was advertised right at the front desk. Our TV had just one working channel. There were regular brown-outs, and no back-up generator (which we noticed our neighbouring hotel and all others had) which meant no hot water (not that it worked well anyway), no tv and no wifi. During these times it was raining out but we were still forced to go outside to save ourself going crazy in that room. Such a regretful stay!

Went to this hole and noticed a few things in disrepair. Not bad, but the paint was peeling from the walls, the floor was torn up and a few things weren't being maintained. Opened my soap and it was moldy. All of this was tolerable, but they didn't have clean towels for me. That's where I need to draw the line. This place seems nice, and the staff was awesome. Maybe it was just bad timing.

We had a great stay here in YCL Hotel Boracay. I booked 5D4N thru TravelbookPH. All rooms are clean and with balcony, good wifi connection, good water supply and with complete amenities. Fast check in and check out process. I would like to commend the 2 receptionist who answers all of my queries (Adelyn & Shiela), they are good, If I will rate them 1-10 I will give them perfect 10. The breakfast is SUPERB! The F&B staff is very accommodating except to the housekeeping staff who handed me the door mat that I requested, she just knocked and handed me the door mat without even saying Hi or Hello. No smile at all. Anyway our stay in YCL is unforgettable. I will recommend this hotel to my friends. Bravo to sir Charlie Soler! More power and God Bless. Stayed last 09DEC-13DEC.

When we booked this hotel, I was quite hesitant at first because of some reviews I read, they say that the staff are not nice nor approachable. when we stayed, it was the opposite, the staff are nice and friendly, even Sir Charlie was approachable and very accommodating. the only thing that was not so good with our stay was some of furnitures, the cabinet doors were broken, we told them about it but it was not addressed. We also asked if we are entitled to have bottled waters in the room, the receptionist said we're not.

The hotel, in general, was excellent. The room we stayed at was very comfortable and very spacious. The rates were very affordable too. I would definitely recommend this place to my other friends for their future trips in Boracay.

Room is very comfy and spacious. The staff and the people in the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. Charlies Resto is also just down the hotel if you want to chill and listen to live music. Highly recommended for people who are looking for a price-friendly place to stay while they are in Boracay.

Hotel is goof only in case if you are looking for the cheap room. YCL is located on the main road so it's always very noisy, sometimes there is no hot water and the room is not that clean. Also it takes ages for the staff to cook the breakfast.

Stayed last december 2016 here. the price is good. however there is a couple of improvements needed 1. wifi connection is somewhat slow - i dont know if that is because of full occupancy 2. there is no hot/cold shower 3.some of their staffs(i think their ojts) were just lounging around - when you are in a service oriented business, the guest should not see the staff sitting around and talking with each other there is a free breakfast buffet at their restaurant(charlies) and during nighttime, there is a live band. also their food is not bad(but a bit pricey) their location is very stategic(close to the beach and near the central hub where you can go to nearby shops, and other restaurants - D'mall). it is very accesible overall, for the price of the hotel, its not bad at all!
