Located in second row behind the beach front, lies this really small secret gem of a cozy and familiar hotel. Run by a powerful great woman with a great attitude. Her advice and connections are the best on the island. If you are looking for something down to earth, with an Ibizia vibe to it, this is the place to stay at. Well definitely be back. Much love

Room was very clean and perfectly located less than a 20 second walk from door to ocean. Also near several delicious restaurants. I recommend reading through the hotels list of favorite places to visit. Every place we picked from the list was amazing.
My favorite part of Lugar Bonito is being situated on a less busy area of station 1, Boracay so you can enjoy your time on the beach without all the crowds of station 2 and 3.
Will return on my next visit to Boracay.

Lugar Bonito is absolutely incredible! I love the room's vibes and its proximity to a lot of really good restaurants. The beach is also just literally a minute walk away. The staff is exceptionally friendly as well. The room is quite small tho if you got huge luggage. But if you've got small ones or just a backpack, the room is perfect!

My stay in Lugar bonito was so awesome! The room is so clean and fresh, complete amenities, the aircon is so lamig! i love it... All staff are nice including the manager. They happily assist me from check in to check out, even help me out to book/coordinate my activities in boracay. and My favorite part was the bed! so comfy! very generous sa pillows, with comforter. i slept really well. I really love the place, I would definitely come back! :)

Amazing Filipino hospitality. Just a lovely budget accommodation place. Really enjoyed my time here and the staff and owner are beautiful people. Close to everything, clean, cosy... what's not to love? Woll definitely be back and highly recommend Lugar Bonito!

There is still some improvement work going on at the hotel.
so if you're those that wakes up late this is not the place for your stay yet.
stayed here for a few days.
the downside :
- water pressure wasn't that great at all but it's decent for a bath.
- door locked wasn't that great was shocked that the door actually open up itself during the night by a little so i had to use a chair to hold firm on the door.
Great things.
- View from the rooftop was extremely great head up but sadly it was closed at 8am when i headed up (signboard shown 12pm)
- Air-con was extremely cold
- Room was cleaned and they even offer in-room massage services.
so if you're those that wakes up late this is not the place for your stay yet.

There are sooooooo many hotels in Boracay but only a few has a certain kind of allure. Lugar Bonito is one of them. The interiors are lovely, I love the Greek-inspired designs and knickknacks and the white walls are so refreshing. Our room was small yet very cozy and it felt like home, in a way. The bed is amazing. The hotel has no restaurant but it has this relaxing roofdeck where you can have your breakfast -- the view is wonderful! We tried to wake up very early so we can have the spot to ourselves, it was worth it. :D Highly recommended hotel especially for those who are looking for something extraordinary.

Duration of stay: 5 days 4 nights
Booking process: Booked through Agoda, I had to call the hotel to reconfirm my booking as I didn't receive a message from them.
Transfers from airport to hotel: They don't provide however hotel owner Chiqui can provide you with a hassle free transfer service using a partner travel agency at a minimal cost. (around 2,800PHP)
Rooms: They only have 6 rooms, the best ones are the ones facing the back side of property to avoid noise since the hotel is along a busy street. We booked a Superior room in which according to reviews can fit 3 pax but in my own opinion, it can fit a couple and a child since the room has a day bed. Rooms are well designed with Grecian decors and great light fixtures. Our room didn't have a refrigerator but we had tea and coffee facilities. There is a small safe but can only fit money, small jewelleries and mobile phones.
Bed: Really comfortable, we slept well all the time.
Toilet & Shower: Nice design.. just the shower has a medium pressure. But clean and provides basic amenities like shower gel, soap and shampoo/conditioner.
Breakfast: Provided with a choice of either continental(3 pcs toast with butter & jam, coffee and a sunny side up) or Filipino(rice, choice of meat of fish, a sunny side up and coffee). At night, we tell the reception what we want and the next morning, we get a wake up call saying that the breakfast is ready, we climb to the top floor (4th floor and we were on the 2nd) and have our breakfast al fresco style with an amazing view of the beach.
Other food choices and services: Can be arranged from the reception.
Accessibility to the beach: Their reception is by the road, no doors. The moment you step down from the stairs (no lifts), you literally cross the small road, pass through a small walkway (around 10 seconds) and voila, you're right on the sea shore.
Hotel staff: Really helpful with any queries and requests. Hotel owner Chiqui is such a sweet person, she will give you her personal list of what to do, see, eat, drink, try, etc.. in Bora. She will also go beyond expectation for her guests by offering something you need straight out from her house (she lives on the 4th floor). Since it was our wedding anniversary and my husband's bday, our room was decorated twice with bear, balloon and cute pillows.
Overall: This hotel is a great place to stay in Bora since you are only here to sleep and have breakfast. Your whole day will be spent at the beach! ;)

Staff were very accomodating. Room design was unique and clean :). Rooftop view was fantastic. Tips given by chiqui (hotel manager) were very useful. Will definitely go back for our next boracay trip .
