We bought our discount voucher through Metrodeal at the price of 2,999 pesos for 4 persons per night. Below are my likes and dislikes for this hotel:
Likes: -comfortable bed with very clean sheets -good promo price -big room with two queen size beds, a kitchen counter, and a big bathroom -flat screen tv with very good cable channels -helpful front desk clerk
Dislikes: -5 minute walk to the beach -phone not working so no wake up call -elevator stopped working once -no restaurant -no big beautiful lobby to sit
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel if you could avail the promo voucher.

This is a review of 3 crown hotels. The reason being I booked a room with the Crown Prince Resort, when I arrived at the Crown Prince I was told I was given an upgrade at the Regency because the hotel's air conditioning doesn't work. The receptionist told me the air conditioning had been down for a week and didn't feel the need to tell the patrons that will be arriving. Anyway I was moved from Station 1 to Station 2 to the Regency, upon arriving I found out I was across the road from the Regency at the Annex, not where I was originally told, and it was clearly not the same quality hotel. When I questioned the reception they said I miss understood because I have access to the facilities at the Regency but would be staying at the Annex. So the Annex, the reception staff is nice but when compared with the reception staff at the Regency the employees at the Annex come across to be the rookies. Any question asked of the Annex staff is referred to the Regency or they have no idea. When I arrived in the room, from first view it was clearly better then a standard room, it was big and the bathroom was fantastic. However the first thing I noticed in the room was there is no windows, to me that is not an upgrade - it felt very much like a prison cell. The house keeping was good however there is no please make up or do not disturb. So everyday the house keeping knocks on the door at 9 which is ok except when watching the World Cup final until 6am and wanting to be left alone to sleep the day away! At both the Regency and the Annex the Wifi is disgraceful, both hotels have no right to say they offer Wifi. In the Annex we had to stand in the corner of the room to get the slowest possible connection ever and do not dare move from that spot. In the Regency it was a flip of a coin if the Wifi worked, and that flip was weighed against you! The buffet breakfast is at the Regency and it was average at best and there is better options for cheaper on the beach. The pool at the Regency looks fantastic however it is all looks. It doesn't take long to notice that the wave pool that goes on everyday at 12 doesn't actually ever start and the wave rider is never turned on. Overall it was a poor experience, a lot of flash but no substance.

Just today we checked in to Crown Regency Resort Annex . Though very tired , as we've just arrived to Boracay after 2 day trip , i write the review , because i cannot sleep at all. As the room as extremely small , just come in and go to sleep , no spare room at all. Almost no window , very small , covered with the cloth ,through which the light easily penetrates. But what is awful, the so called "window " faces ... the hotel inside !!!! You cannot open the window , to get fresh air , as it 's faces like staircase aisle. Also , it's very noisy , as on the 1 st floor there is the cafe with the loud music. No distilled water in the room , safe boxes do not work ( we booked two rooms , it's the same. ) when i ask to fix the safe box and to bring the water , the hotel worker advised me to dial"0" for fhe reception , but ! The telefone doesn't work either. As well as the elevator. We are accomodated on the 3 rd floor , and the staircase is rather difficult to go ( especially with the suitcases and children). The price is 5 530 pesos per room per night. Not cheap , especially for this hotel. I have never thought , there are such distressing hotels in Boracay. Luckily , we are for 1 night here. Tomorrow , as we get up , we move to Boracay Beach Club, our favorite hotel in Boracay. I advise you NEVER be accomodated in Crown Regency Annex! Even for one night.

We booked a room via Metrodeal for only P2,999 per night for 4 person, and i would say that we made the right choice. The front desk clerk was very informative, polite and accommodating and even upgraded us to a superior room since it's a lean season and there are plenty of vacant rooms i guess, the original room that they offer in Metrodeal is the deluxe room. though, i didn't get her name, i have a picture of her in y background (hehe), she deserves a commendation. the room is spacious, clean, well furnished, i love the bed because it's so soft as well as the duvet, it gave me a good night sleep. and the swimming pool is superb. the staffs are approachable and will respond quickly to our concerns and requests. It's a bit far from the white beach about 2mins walk but that's okay. unfortunately we only spent 1 night there, because the following date is a blackout date on the metrodeal promo so we have no choice but to book to another hotel. and i will definitely go back there and recommend it to my relatives and friends.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. The only reason I decided to stay here was because majority of my friends also stayed here.
I tried making my reservation multiple times on their website but the site always crashed. I tried to make the reservation via phone call and it was so hard to get a hold of someone and when I finally did I was told that they couldn't make my reservation because something was wrong and told me to call back a few days later. I just ended up booking on an online travel agency website instead a week later because it was too close to the date already. If you know how hotels work, it's a win-win situation both for guest and hotel when you book directly because its usually cheaper for the guest and the hotel doesn't have to pay the commission to the travel agency. That was the first annoyance of this whole trip but got over it easily.
Upon check-in, I was going to pay for my stay and the hotel didn't accept credit/debit cards. Completely fine at that time since my bank was just right next door so I was able to withdraw but come on, it's 2017. Keep up with technology. A payment terminal isn't so hard to get.
Checked-in. Room looked old as hell. It looked like someone punched the door from outside. You can see the mark of a fist on the door. And the coating of the main door and bathroom was peeling. No maintenance at all? Towels looked like they were 10 years old. It looked more like a light grey color than white. In room safe wasn't working at all. I called the front desk a couple of times to have it fixed but no answer. And the mirror in the bathroom had so many dark markings as if someone purposely lit a candle and set it right by the mirror.
That first night, I returned to the hotel pretty late and realised I left my key in the room. I went to the front desk and asked for a new key. I gave my room number and name but wasn't asked for an ID. Following day, I found out from a friend that same thing happened to him. No security whatsoever.
Following day, my friends who were staying with me the second night onwards tried to check-in in the morning. I specifically told the front desk to give them a key when they arrive cause it was going to be quite early in the morning. According to my friend, the lady at the front desk was on the phone for the longest time and didn't want to assist them or even assure them they were going to be assisted. Many ways this could have been handled better - like inform the guest on the phone that she has a guest in front of her. I've easily done that hundreds of times myself. My friends just decided to give me a call to find out where my room was and so I could let them in. Sleep was interrupted.
2nd night and 3rd night, the air conditioning kept leaking. Even though they were informed, there was no attempt to repair it. On the second night, my friend found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom as well. No need to expand on that.
Finally, on the morning of check-out, right before 7am, there was very loud drilling that could be heard coming from right next to our room. I could feel the vibration on the wall. After a while, I decided to call the front desk. Twice I didn't get an answer. A few seconds later, I get a call - thinking that they knew what I was trying to call about it or even at least try to get back to me after calling twice - then to my surprise the man on the phone says "Just a reminder, you are due to check out today." This was just ridiculous. I completely understand the reminder, which is protocol, but to call someone at 7am to remind them they're checking-out is unheard of. On top of that, when I told him about the drilling noise and to make sure it stops as it was not the appropriate time for such noise, he just answered "okay, copy sir" with the most insincere tone. No apology whatsoever. AND the drilling never stopped.
I'm a very patient person and I'm a manager at a hotel as well - specifically in operations. I'm usually a very understanding guest because of that but this was just terrible. I don't understand how a hotel can run like this. To the management, I suggest you consider reassessing everything about this hotel and I mean everything. Otherwise, it's just a shame.

Enjoyed our Boracay stay this summer here. Location: it is just along the Boracay Highway. About 3 to 5 minutes walk to the beach. It is near 7 eleven and a big convenience store. Various banks and ATMs beside it too. Easy to go elsewhere via tricycle coz its fronting the highway and going to the beachfront is easy as well. Its relatively near the Talipapa. The room we stayed in was quite spacious with 2 double beds. The bathroom had a tub for 2 and a separate shower. Amenities included a dental kit, shampoo, soap, bath gel and cotton buds. Slippers. They also had a ref, a water heater with coffee, tea and bottled water. Breakfast was good. You can use the pool of the Regency convention area. Overall we had a great stay. Would be nice to go there again.

Crown Regency's Annex just opened recently and so far our stay there is a nice experience. The room is clean and properly maintained. The bathroom is a plus because of the bath tub :) The pool area is wonderful since the area is a nice place to relax in the afternoon. The only downside is that the elevator is still under maintenance since the building has just recently opened. Also, we can hear the noise from the other rooms.

My first time in Boracay, well, the Philippines in general, was an eye opener. We were originally booked to stay at the Resort and Convention Center across the road but were "upgraded" to the Annex as it was quieter and had larger rooms. For me, this was fine as originally I was supposed to share but found myself with a room on my own. So, I had heaps of space and two beds to sleep and lounge on! The first couple of nights I couldn't sleep due to the excessive noise from the main street below and the light shining through the thin curtains. I told my friends I was traveling with, and who organised the trip, and they asked for a new room for me. They immediately complied and I was in a new room a few hours later. This one had no window which was fine with me. They really should look into double insulating their windows and putting up block out blinds. The other thing was there was hardly any hot water. I know it gets hot there but I find it hard to shower in tepid water so it usually took a good 5 mins for me just to get used to the water temp! On arrival we were given wifi passwords and the 1st (late) night i tried, I couldn't connect. I rang the front desk who said to try a different number at the end which didn't work either. I went and spoke to them face to face and tried when I was there and, of course, it worked. They then advised the wifi doesn't work in the rooms! I was dependent on wifi to communicate with home so this made it extremely difficult. The last thing was breakfast - we were given vouchers for each day of the week and had to cross the busy road to get to the cafe. There was a huge assortment of foods which was great but they constantly ran out during the busy times. The amount of times I had to wait for the chef to cook eggs were numerous and even then, they were undercooked. The beverages were nestea ice teas which were, urgh, full of sugar! Would have been nice to have some orange or pineapple juice, not so sweet. Bit maybe that's the Aussie in me. Probably the biggest issue was that my friends booked this place because of its huge wave pool, slide, kids pool and wave rider but most of it was under repair. They weren't advised at all. It's such a shame as there were 7 very disappointed kids. Otherwise, the hotel was located about a 5 minute walk to the white beach and a heap of amenities. The staff were always very friendly and respectful and I'd definitely stay here again.

We booked our rooms via metrodeal. It was cheap enough because of the promo, only 2,999 per room per night good for 4 persons. We booked 5 rooms. No breakfast and requires 3,000 deposit per room. No towels too for the 3rd and 4th guests.
What I liked about the hotel was the very accomodating receptionist. Maybe because the hotel was not a beachfront and therefore not a favorite, the hotel booking was not heavy, thus, the receptionist happily told us we were given deluxe room upgrades for all the 5 rooms. Our room was a beautiful spacious room with 2 double beds, bath tub and kitchen. Our family totally loved it and we're hoping we could have stayed more inside the room but it will be such a waste not to enjoy the boracay beach.
What we like: -beautiful, spacious, clean room -tasteful interior -lot of drawers, clean closet, and tables -a few minutes walk to the beach -use of the nice wave pool with giant slide at the crown regency main fronting the crown annex building
What we dislike: -water in the bath tub is drained using the rubber bathroom mat -- gross! -I waited almost 2 hours for the hotel staff to open our room when i left the key inside. They made me go up and down the reception and our 4th floor room to check card keys that did not work because the problem was the low bat door -most of the times, the elevator was not working so we had to use the stairs going up and down the floors
Deluxe room
